all three are absolutely brilliant. They work exactly as described. No distance shore rig is complete without one of them, an essential item in every serious sea anglers tackle box.
Thank you for that. I live in the States and have just ordered some clips from the UK. I've gone to numerous tackle shops, they absolutely don't know what I'm talking about!
Many thanks. After trying for some time to find out about these devises you have given me an easy to understand explanation. I will now try some of these on the beaches of Oz. Look out the Taylor and Salmon.
These breakaway rigs look good, but I've noticed a recurring theme with all of them....small hooks and small bait. I have to wonder if they could handle the payloads I sometimes use here on the Jersey coast....6 to 8 ounces of lead, a 10/0 Charlie Brown octopus hook, complete with an adult bunker head for the bait.
The third one that you call Impact Lead, where can it be purchased? I looked on Amazon and also tried to google it but cannot find. Thank you for the awesome video and description
the problem i have is when my hooks are baited with blood worms or prawns or anything bigger than the average sand worm there is no way for me to clip the hook on the bait shield or imp, care to share on any tips you might have
whatever bait you use the hook point should always be clear, you dont need much hook to put it in the bait clip, you dont put the bait in the clip, it is best to use a pennal or pulley rig then you can get the correct tension
Brilliant!!!! Not full of crap short sweet with all the info, in focus and no annoying music in the back ground ........Thanks

I've seen people fish with just a clip in that position? How do those work?
How do you clip the hook on if there’s a chunk of bait on it? Can you show the same position but with pilchard on the hook?

Imp is still the best
can you place 2 hooks on the impact shields?thx
null
i know its some time, but yes you can fish a wish bone rig with just one clip
