A few more ranger tips I found through playing: For blight round spam, you can hold the blight round button while spamming jump! This way the round comes out as fast as it can. Blaze shot has s on the start of its animation(the flip), so don't be afraid to use that instead of a normal step dodge or WA. Blaze shot also has a vertical height cap so be careful using it enemies that are too high up. When being focused by bosses that stick to you, autoing with the rifle is actually good dps if you can consistently step dodge and counter attack! If you're holding auto attack with rifle, you can always cancel it into a dodge, PA, or WA! Bushin cocoon is a good way to practice this. Rifle WA will show the CD of the mine if you use the tap version. If you don't have the launcher multiweaponed, using the WA and then swapping weapons will cause the sticky bomb to disappear but still be on CD. While charging the launcher attack seems bad, it's good if you're being focused since you can dodge while holding the charge, and if you don't get focused you get the dmg from the charge shot! The multihit PA can be canceled early with a step dodge, so you can use this to reposition yourself if you're in a bad spot. Launcher step attack and counter attack both have a vertical height cap for angle, so it's not the best to use got flying enemies or enemies with weak points high up. Sorry if I repeated anything you said in the video, I'm on mobile and it makes it hard to write and go back in the video lol.
@@F3azyKS They shouldn't stack, but refresh the blight timer on the enemy. This way if a blight is purple, you can keep refreshing it to keep that point weakened for an extended period of time. I don't play anymore, but I assume that they still function the same.
Personally I found the Theseus series to fit with Ranger playstyle the most because it's a flat crit rate bonus and doesn't require dodging/getting in close.
No problem. To get more skill points just complete all the cocoons and towers. Battle power is quite easy, augment and upgrade your weapons and units and get skill points.

I’m currently trying to grind this game but pso2 not NGS even though I got atleast 1000+ battle power on NGS, I’m trying to grind for outfits but I hate it because everything is so small that I can’t read it, I’ve changed the text to Large 4K and everything I could possibly do but it’s not working and I’m on Xbox series s btw. I just wanted to know if any of you have a solution to this?
Anything decent, geant armors are good but they are expensive with fixa. If you can find a cheaper 4* with a good fixa I would go that route. For augments just the cheap ones that boost your potency, you dont need top tier augments right now. Theres no reason to min max but get decent gear.
i just noticed how your blaze shot is not missing much on mid range.. then it dawned in me.. maybe it's affected by potency floor? i use NGS weapon which has 75~100% dmg floor while PSO2 has 85~100% (based on my ophistia sword).. and you use PSO2 rifle(?) can someone test this? PS: oh lol you are using foursis rifle..

Dash attack rifle (or launcher) + homing darts is the most effective mobbing without force sub. 6:11 you heavily underestimate Multi-Attack - this is basically single target homing darts - super useful on moving targets or if you don't have time for fear eraser. And it ONLY hits the locked on target, meaning you can hit weakpoints even if they're being blocked by body parts; As an example, Nex's body can still block 80% of fear eraser hits even when the core is exposed, so Multi does more damage. 8:08 sorry, this is just wrong - it explodes after 17 seconds and restores 100 pp
I really wanna play game currently lvl 18 ranger but error 630 makes game unplayable it sucks cause I enjoy the game, but just can't do the error 630 nothing i do helps play on xbox currently
My only complaint about Ranger is that I'm as durable as a wet paper sheet in a tornado, although that can be mitigated by foursis rifle potential, still, that brings it to a grand total of 10 hits before biting the dust, other than that, blight bullet is nasty, and fear eraser is sick.

personally I double jump, fire a round THEN hold jump again, then once more after the 2nd shot.

This is the only class I play now. It's too fun destroying the low level ecosystem XD. Especially PSE bursts in super tight areas.

On a resurgir rifle what would be better fixa attack or fatale? I know there pretty close damage wise but in rangers situation I wouldnt know.

When using homing darts to hit more mobs, do you only have to turn your camera around or do you actually have to turn your character body?
Just character. So press WASD. Sometimes I just move my camera to change it up but WASD is faster if you want to hit enemies behind you as well.
it really not the same, i miss the lazer beam we could call down. No clue if it worth playing other one since NG might of taken everyone away from it.

Do you have any advice for evading? I find that whenever I want to dodge I'm always in animation lock from PA's or normals using rifle
Just be out of its attack range and move around alot. As time goes by you will learn their animations more.
Also I thought upgraded blight just made it 25% instead of 20%

I transferred the best gear in the game from base pso2 to new genesis. They were around 2 billion meseta each piece.
3500 hours.. That's almost 9 hours a day for 405 days omg

The default augments for ranger is Precision 3, Gigas Precision 2, Pettas Soul 2 and Alts Secreta 2

I use Foursis Rifle with around +16% minimum floor damage.

not really sure if floor dmg affects the blazeshot's accuracy
