Dude im having a fun time with a blind playthrough. Really shows how welcoming this game is to both new players and old players alike. The community is so so nice and really kind overall. I still know almost nothing about this game at level 51 but im having a good time
As someone who played the overlooked gem that was Phantasy Star 0 on DS...yeah, that's a mood. That was the last Phantasy Star game the west ever saw for 11 years. Which also feels longer than it should since PS0 was barely promoted in the west. (I think only Nintendo Power ever really talked about it) And I only *just* learned a few days ago that the most recent release prior to New Genesis was a Vita game...that was exclusive to Japan.
I held off on playing because I put a ton of time on JP back in the day. I think I'm far enough removed that starting over fresh on global won't bother me too much. That and I'm mostly Genshin'd out lol.

I don't know this game have a lot of content but it isn't actually fun to do, the end game is fashion but for me a game that looks like a PS2 game that has a focus on fashion with the looks of very bad CGI anime with the same characters but with different hair and boobs/thighs, I tried enjoying the game because of the great community and a very deep system but the combat is not enjoyable and what's the point of grinding when the main thing that you are playing for is not exciting, I was looking forward to this video to see if anything wakes in me and makes me want to play the game, but in almost every category this game feels worse than Destiny 2 and the actual best RPG right now Final Fantasy XIV I am not criticizing the video or anything I just wanted to say that this is not the game for me, the video is great and a good guide for starter players that have no idea how to play the game
PSO2 is a quite dated game sure, so I could understand it is not everyone's cup of tea, but Final Fantasy XIV is a tab targetting MMORPG though, and PSO2 is more a Online Action RPG Game than a MMO to be honest. Think of it as a Monster Hunter/Warframe kinda ordeal here. For Graphics, again and again I'll say this, as long as a game is fun, graphics doesn't really matter much. The game is going to get a graphical overhaul later on anyways with New Genesis releasing next year regardless, so maybe check it out by then!

You grind for new gear to play new content faster but you can still run it without new gear. However getting gear is so easy in PSO2. you can just spend one day on PSO2 and get the new gear if you try hard enough or have an alliance of 100 players. Because they give triggers for new quests with every update. SO you can run it like 100 times and be geared within a day.
I thought it's an old video haha but nice a perfect straight to the point showcase of what PSO2 is. There are minor stuff like non-premium players will only get 10% Triboost on the Daily Bar. But the rest is great!
I LOVED PSO2. Until I started to care about augments and/or affixes. It felt like literally more brain numbing work than literally ANY JOB I'VE DONE IN MY ADULT LIFE EVER. So I quit PSO2 =P And no, I can't just ignore the system, because I care too much about being as stronk as possible. So I'm either miserable because I'm planning out augments, or I'm making myself miserable by knowingly nerfing my character =(
Hello Cammy and friends. I have been wanting to try this game and finally took the plunge but am having lots of stability issues. I know there are forums so I will also post there but I was hoping maybe someone or Cammy himself would be able to maybe help me! I have a b550m mobo with a Ryzen 7 3700x, 16gb of 3600mhz ram, an rtx 2060 and it's running from an m.2 nvme ssd. I thought I would be fine to be running 1440p, but even at 1080p I am experiencing extreme screen tearing and pretty unstable framerates which I find odd since I play other mmo's and even Destiny 2 at these types of settings with no issues. I've tried windowed, virtual windowed, fullscreen, different resolutions and messing with settings. My drivers are updated. I have a 240hz 1440p samsung monitor, is there maybe a compatibility issue? In the launcher it only lets me set to 60hz if I use the setting that allows me to select my resolution. I'm wondering if anyone here knows anything about the game that maybe I missed, a setting to tweak, or even something obvious. Any help is appreciated, much love😊
I know I can't be the only one who loved the dreamcast. It just suffered for being sooo far ahead of it's time and just COMPLETELY piss poor marketing. Some of my favorite time gaming was playing sonic adventure and raising Chaos on the memory cards with a friggin screen on them! My love of pso started there but grew substantially on the GameCube. And when we final got the modem attachment.... Found my favorite weapon in all of gaming... The guld Milla. And by found I mean someone dupped them for me online. That gun was a game changer haha. Nothing like near invincibility while draining the life out of the final boss while he was in his "invisibility" phase haha.
Never heard of a way to make a support indestructible. Hu/Et is the closest, but theres no such thing as "nothing can kill you" however, "nothing can kill you when you pay attention" yes. also I wish my mom could even move a character in a game xD, my dad used to play games with me but, nobody has time these past 10 years.

I keep trying to get into this game but I find myself logging on, getting confused on what the fuck to do and how to advance in this game, and getting bored due to not knowing what to do and just find myself running the same standard explorations or whatever. Every single thing is free. There *are* fashion collab packs as "DLC", and ARKS Cash for scratch tickets, but you can easily just go to the player market for every single thing the packs and tickets include without ever spending a dime. All you gotta do is save up your Meseta, which is the most common and easy to acquire resource in the game.
What the, apparently i have more hours in pso then cammy but im still lacking in power and money like a mile appart, oh yeah right he is a youtuber/streamer of corse he has everything you want but cant afford, just because he plays better he alwayes knows better. i just came to pso2 a couple days ago and i m enjoying it alot so far. My head explodes, i m super overwhelmed but i m kind of loving it. Its legit one of those games that you rarely even find anymore nowadays. Complex mechanics, almost no handholding, playing around with 500000 different stats and systems. Most modern games, especially in the mmo genre strip down constantly, making everything as easy and casual as humanly possible, take wow for example, wow once had a skill tree too, but it needed to go because: make games more simpler... i love that pso2 is doing none of that... it literally feels like, how playing games felt 10 15 years ago... and its freakin awesome

Starting to put my skill points in since I have a lot (waited cause I worried I would mess it up). I’m following those skill trees you recommended. But, I don’t see any armor I don’t think so I’m lost at what to look for.

Most modern games, especially in the mmo genre strip down constantly, making everything as easy and casual as humanly possible, take wow for example, wow once had a skill tree too, but it needed to go because: make games more simpler... i love that pso2 is doing none of that... it literally feels like, how playing games felt 10 15 years ago... and its freakin awesome

I’m sorry that UA-cam algorithms suck and why content creation can really suck sometimes too. It sucks that this video ain’t gna get like tons of views as compared to like open commentary about a gun that isn’t even fully “transformed” yet over background gameplay. I respect the editing of your videos and even though I don’t play PSO2 cause it just ain’t my cup of tea, I’m watching cuz I enjoy your content creation. I recently started this and I’m loving it. Watched a separate guide on the mag feeding and im at lv 51. Starting to put my skill points in since I have a lot (waited cause I worried I would mess it up). I’m following those skill trees you recommended. But, I don’t see any armor I don’t think so I’m lost at what to look for.

I tried very hard to play this game.. Can honestly say it felt like an ass mobile game without the ads.. Idk if 10hrs was enough time to give this game tho, but usually id like to have fun within at least the hour.
You should add your I'd code for people who are just jumping in to pso2
