Watching you cook is so soothing, you’ve done this so many times, for so long, your confidence, gives your viewers confidence.
holy smokes this looks INCREDIBLE! I had to hit up Paul's Rule of Thumb and tell him I NEED TO MAKE THIS! 🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I have blueberries i picked sitting in my freezer. Mama, I could watch you can all day long. You are such a joy! ❤️
I really think you will like it! Your a sweetie, Thank you, I've enjoyed the Jar it up January, Thank you! Xoxoxo
Mrs. Lori, the other day I came across some blueberries in my freezer forgotten from last year’s pick and have been trying to decide what to do with them. Thanks to you, I now know!
Yummy sounding recipe and I can’t wait to make it!! God Bless y’all!!!
Oh and blackberries or dewberries would be awesome, wouldn’t they (I am a Texas gal living in Florida so I know all about those Texas dewberries. Sure miss picking them with my daddy down by the railroad tracks - fond childhood memories).
Awe that will be wonderful ! Xoxoxo
Love that dewberry jelly-mayhaw too❤️‼️
That came out beautifully with the immersion blender, so nice and smooth. I would prefer a more vinegar based sauce as opposed to a sweet sauce too. It look's delicious.
I swear I can smell this while you're filling the jars. YUMMM!
Loving every moment of "Jar it up January"....but this recipe using blueberries is right at the top of my list!
You made this look so easy! I especially like that it has vinegar and no catsup. Thank you. I love blueberries!
Thanks for taking the time to make and post your recipes Ms Lori. You and Mr Brown must be the nicest people on UA-cam. God bless you both!
Hi Ms Lori what a great way to incorporate blueberries into your eating plan. I eat blueberries everyday for their health benefits. I don’t have the space to store a lot of food but have managed to scale down some of your recipes and really enjoyed trying them. Thank you again for your time, I know you are a very busy lady and as I’ve said before we are a little further along in age to you and Mr. Brown and are both retired now but believe it or not I worked in the school system for 24 years and Eddie after a long driving career ended up driving for the firm who delivered free fruit to schools, amazing isn’t it. How many miles between us. Love Mary from England
I found a gallon size freezer bag of my home grown blueberries. This will be a perfect time to do this recipe. It looks wonderful. I will use the small half pint jars as you have and water bath, too.
so glad to see this I love watching you can.
You are right, it looks so beautiful in the jar. Like artwork( which it is).👏👍🏼👁👃
My father was Sicilian and any sauce you cooked was on Sunday am for Dinner that night. Low and slow is the best in taste hands down.
This sauce sounds good. I get a lot of blueberries off my bush, and this gives me an idea what to do with them . I'm going to try this.
Yum and I am so glad you don’t feel like you can not eat something without hot spices and sauces in it. This looks as good as I am sure it tastes.
I can't believe the month is one week from being over. I hope you will keep sharing your canning experience with those of us who are new to canning.
Oh, I will ,thank you! God Bless xoxoxo
I canned this BBQ sauce today. I was able to get 5 half pints plus enough to cover a small pork loin my husband smoked today. I brushed it all over the pork loin and put it in the oven on broil for five minutes before serving. It was awesome. I would highly recommend you take the time to make this. Thank you again Mrs Brown for sharing 😁
Oh, great Peggy! Makes me happy!! Xoxoxo
I cannot WAIT to try this! Thank you, Lori!!!!
Being from North Carolina, our famous BBQ sauce is vinegar based. But I'm definitely going to have to try this. Thanks for sharing
This looks WONDERFUL!!!!!
hello from the Ozarks!!! yum yum!! thanks for sharing!!
I would LOVE to see you do this using the Lakanto brown sugar option for a lower carbohydrate option and give us a side by side taste test. Love you guys. ❤️❤️
Thank you I ended up making blueberry-mango BBQ sauce. Thanks for the great idea.
This looks great and the wings looked amazing. Thanks for your contributions to Jar it up Jan. Loved every one of them.
I love anything blueberry. Mmmm yummy
It looks amazing Ms Lori. God bless.
Looks so good! Just started a batch of it in my slow cooker. Can’t wait to taste it!
God bless you, Lori. Thanks again for sharing your cooking and baking recipes with us!!
I am going to buy some fresh blueberries and make this. I can almost smell it! This would be a nice gift. Thank you!
I love blueberries!! I cannot wait to try this recipe!!
Awesome!!
I love that this was slow cooker to canner!
We love vinegar based bbq and the blueberry makes it sound awesome..love that pop as soon as you lift the jar out and hits cooler air. Love ya great video
I heard the jar lid pop, too. Love that sound. It makes me smile.
I made this today with blueberries from my freezer. Thanks for the recipe. I got 6 half-pints. It's pretty vinegar-y from what I'm used to, so I did add a dab more sugar, but it is really yummy! I'm going to put some on bbq chicken legs tomorrow night. They're thawing in the fridge!
It is a vinegar base sauce for sure, but I tell you, it's so good on chicken, ribs! Xoxoxo
WoW! What a great idea for non tomato based sauce! Love your.video! “Low And slow! The way to go!”
I’ll have to try this one. You can the same way my grandmother taught me.
I would enjoy a February jar it up 😉
Looks like a wonderful recipe I can’t wait to give it a try
I don't ever pressure cann anything. Granma didn't have one, and she taught me. I can remember cold packing greenbeans add a tsp. salt at the top filled the jars with water up to the ring before the screw started. water bathed them beans 3 hours after the boil. Granma had 13 kids. Nobody ever got sick or died from eating her stuff. Now she didn't can meat that I can remember. She salt packed her pork. The did a lot of smoked meats. Way up yonder, down in the holler, Blue Ridge Mtns. of VA. We ate fresh killed chickens I can remember her ringing their necks.
Oh, yes, we used to water bath alot, but know they it ain't safe! So, videoing a canning session got to be safe, , xoxoxo
That looks so yummy!!
Looks delicious! Thankyou for sharing

Love your bookshelf full of cookbooks! I have a huge cookbook collection also, but no place to store them currently, so they are spread all over the house!

Made this a couple of weeks ago and it is delicious. Every time I walked by the slow cooker I was dipping pretzels in it. Served it with wings at super bowl and everyone loved it.
I'm making barbeque sauce this weekend!!! Love you guys.
Looks delicious
Really enjoyed this one... It looks delicious !
Thank you Lori; it looks delicious and I will make some in a few weeks. I use a similar recipe with plums, because I pick them for free in the summer, and they are also very good. Ofcourse you're a part of Jar It Up January! You're a pro in the kitchen and garden. Your recipes and lovely gracious ways are always a treat when I have time to watch your videos. Blessings to you and yours.😊👵💞
This looked delicious would love to try it, will have to purchase blueberries, we planted 4 bushes last year but it's going to be a few years before we harvest any, tfs, love and blessings
I can't wait to try this on ribs or a pork loin. My Mom would do it with plum preserves and I loved it.but now I can't wait to taste it wit blueberries. Thanks for sharing. 🌹
Oh my goodness! I have a couple jars of plum jelly left in my pantry that need to be used up. Thanks for the inspiration! 💗
Thank you for this video I immediately thought of apricot BBQ for Cornish Hens would be great
Vey different BBQ sauce. Looks scrumptious!
Yum Lori! This looks very similar to the recipe we used at a Bbq restaurant I worked at, except we used grape jelly. Im going to try this one. We LOVE BBQ
Oh wow, grape jelly! Well I never!
Xoxoxo
Looks so good mrs Lori...I know what I will be doing on my next day off...fun fun fun. Thanks dear 🙏
Hi Lori and Danny. Received call from Cee when I was in our nearest town Dungarvan to say that a package had arrived. Thank you very very much for the overalls...Will be wearing them as soon as I can! ....cannot wait. When I saw them, I danced a jig sucked two sassafras and shouted where's the cornbread! Cee is delighted with the pretty items and boy what a beautiful scent from the Lemon Verbena....I want to bathe in it and Cee wants to use it as a room freshener....damm it! She also took half the salt water taffy! Your favourite irishman - happy as a pig in muck! Edward.....🍀🍀🍀
Oh, I hope they fit , may have to hem them, unless your a tall Irishman!
I'm so glad ,you liked them, we love you both, make Cee use that lemon verbena! Mmm love the smell, I've been trying to find y'all on messenger, not working, dont know why, oh, I dream of coming to Ireland someday! God Bless
Love to hear you talk. That looks delicious. Now i need chicken.
Never had blue berry BBQ sauce but sure sounds delecious.
Stay warm.
It looks great we had snow ice last night and it look like snow after while but I will try that recipe stay safe
I’m excited to try this recipe on my husband, that being said, and since I live in southern Missouri I plan on waiting till July when I can get fresh blueberries right from a farm nearby. Can hardly wait. Thank you Mrs. Lori.
Oh I’ve never thought of using blueberries! I’ve used cranberries but I’ll have to try this one!
Oh my, those chicken wings looked scrumptious! Thanks for the recipe!
I made this recipe and followed it to a T and I found at the end it didn't thicken up at all, and I had to add 3 TBSP more sugar to soften the ACV taste. I like ACV but apparently not as much as YOU. When I go to use this BBQ Sauce I will make a slurry by adding a bit of flour to thicken it to the consistency of BBQ Sauce. It did taste good as is, it just won't stick to the food being this watery. Thank you for sharing it, it's a keeper for sure
I'm sorry it didn't thicken up for you, put a little clear jel in it, we like the vinegar taste, when it's on the meat, its wonderful, xoxoxo
Ok, I'm gonna can some up. It looks great on the chicken!
This is beautiful!!! I love the idea of putting my own up, instead of relying on storebought or having to make from scratch every single time! And my guys would love a peach BBQ sauce!
Peach is yummy! Xoxoxo
