@@therealbeyoungho it was amazing I couldn't have asked for better results and I healed very quickly!! I'm finally happy in my body and am able to do all the things I loved as a kid like going to the beach or going on a run without having to worry about anything. I'm still doing scar treatment every night even after all this time and my scars are very clean and thin :) best thing I've ever done
I definitely felt these sensations! The "skin off the bone" feeling was so weird when I sat up from sitting on the toilet or being hunched over a bit... cold water down my throat being extra intense was one I forgot about too...I had my surgery December 2020...
im having top surgery on june 3rd and i can't wait to sneeze and experience what you explained hahah it sounds so funny (also your results look really good)

I have experienced the water thing too! I haven't had to surgery or anything but I've felt this and it IS WEIRD😂💕

I'm 4 months post-op and i have the exact same thing with drinking water. Thought it was just me being weird.
I occassionally feel a slight stabbing feeling around my nipples, does this also happen to you?

@@itsmekristina it's nothing bad, it's probably a sign that my nerves are coming back. I say stabbing, but it's not painful

I did have some stabbing feeling like 6-7 weeks post op, but that only lasted for a month or so. I think it was probably just nerves yeah❤️❤️ how's your healing coming along?
@@LeonBell my healing has been going great. I barely had any pain after my surgery. The only negative thing is that my skin is damaged thanks to the strips i need to put on my scars that my surgeon recommended. It's healed now but I'm gonna use silicone strips from now on to avoid damaging my skin again.

The thing that surprised me most after top surgery is that it made my hyperacusis and misophonia WAY worse. My chest had basically been absorbing sound before and without it I had no squishy bits left to absorb sound!

I'm two weeks post op and i really feel the water running in my body too which i have never felt before. Its super weird but good to know I'm not the only one
I totally feel you on the sneezing thing. I normally cover with my shirt or both elbows/chest. But when I'm at home and alone, I sometimes dont. Especially if the sneeze is sudden and surprises me. But sometimes, it'll catch me right after a shower while I'm still drying off, and I'll sneeze all over my chest. :C
And the water in your esophagus (is that the word you couldn't think of?) thing is a strange sensation, but I think not uncommon. I have often experienced it. I can feel liquids that are much hotter or colder than my body temp. And I can often feel it sit or slosh in my stomach. But I attribute that mostly to my being too thin for my body to properly regulate my body. Even more so because it doesn't happen as much since I gained some weight.

I’m almost 15 and hoping to start T at 16-17, and at 18 I would love to finally have my top surgery. My chest dysphoria is really terrible so I just hope I can make it
i have a rlly hard time swallowing pills and everything but i do want top surgery. are you comfortable sharing what medications they had you take before and after?
I only got painkillers and stomach protecters (Dutch hospital). They were the capsule type of pills. I also had to take paracetamol (round tablet ones) every couple hours.
I think I had 3 capsules and 8tablets a day at first, but within a week I was down to only paracetamol, and not even all day. I wasn't in that much pain!
(I didn't get any meds before)
my nipples also ended up being bigger than i wanted them to be but i'm also overall very happy and simply try not to pay much attention to it
also i don't relate to the yawning thing hahah

I'm explaining this sneeze part xD but I feel that cold sensation thing at times but maybe you feel very exposed with the sternum area cos it's more bare. And cos there so weight near it.

Does top surgery feel the same when you use something to flatten the chest or used a binder ???
P.S. I have less dysphoria so I felt different I guess
To me, not at all. Felt like I could finally breath when I got the surgery bindings off.
You don't have compression anymore, and in my binder I always felt like everyone could still see that I actually didn't have a masc chest. Now I do and almost overnight my self confidence tripled and overall I feel so much better. I didn't expect it'd be this good tbh

Did you get your nips transplanted? I was so scared they were gonna fall off in that first week xD mine too are a bit bigger than I would have liked, but I also saw post-op pics of a guy who had mini nips and that was kinda weirding me out so I'm fine with this xD (I also have a lot of scar tissue so that makes them appear bigger than they are. It's almost two years ago now but I'm still hoping it'll fade...)

i assume that the skin just wasnt quite attached to the muscle beneath because there was tissue removed from beneath it. I feel like its really hard to explain over text. But pre surgery, the skin is on top of the breast tissue. Then the breast tissue is removed and the skin is laid down on top of the muscle that was beneath the breast tissue. It takes time for the skin to boned to the muscle. I hope that makes sense.

It's interesting to me, that growing up, I would have loved to have been born into your body, and you probably would have wanted mine (I was a very good looking and later gay man). If there is a god or creator, it needs to wake up and send the right souls into the right bodies. ;)
