My Uncle bought a Pearl White 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse!

- We used to have 3 Victory Magnums and now we're down to 1. My uncle recently traded in his 2016 Victory Magnum for the 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse. He drove down to Indian Motorcycles in Panama City and sealed the deal. It's a beautiful machine and I'm looking forward to making many home movies with this one!

I'm jealous.. 😬. Side note, subscribe if you haven't already so you don't miss the Chieftain and Magnum in action. 👌😎
You'd think you're getting commission from the dealers from all your family buying Indians.🤔
@@AP-vv1yu Nah, I did for another sale. If people watch my channel and go to the dealership mentioning my name as a reference, I would get like a gift card or something.
Hey a gift card costs a lot less than a bill board.
@@AP-vv1yu I was told that I've "sold" at least 10 Scouts at the dealership I bought my own, lol.
Motorcycles are such a personal thing. When riders pick out a new bike and choose the color, there is no wrong answer. When I bought my '16 Scout it came in Black, Grey, White and Indian Red. I wanted ABS so I got the red. When I ride with the local chapter, I am the only bike there that isn't black. I need some colors in my life. I like the fact that your crew go for all these different colors. They are like skittles. RIDE THE RAINBOW!
I love my M109R for that reason. I had a guy that wanted to paint it and take my stripe off. Of course I told him I like the stripe but it's definitely a personal thing. 👌😎
I get a bit tired of black bikes, true that it is easy to match with accessories, but it gets to be a "you and everyone else" sort of thing.
Everyone keeps saying that the new Limited looks like a Harley, but that sweeping one-eyed fairing was used much more often on Victory's. Gorgeous bike!
Yeah, Indian added a good bit of Victory DNA this time around.
That Indian is amazing!!!! Timeless machine and super badass. You guys should do group rides and show some cool road scenery.
Soon! Got a lot of that planned including some stuff I filmed last night.
I test rode the chieftain...definitely underrated...that bike is a badass
Agreed!
I have the same bike now but with 116. Maybe see ya around sometime. Your videos helped me a lot to make my purchase and I love it. God bless!
Nice! Glad to have helped a bit 😅
Sitting on that ramp like that may help him get used to pulling wheelies.
Never been a big fan of the flat paint thing, but that black on white with a touch of silver looks great. One of the better modern OEM paint jobs out now to my eye.
Yeeeah, it gets dirty incredibly easy. If you breathe on it, it's dirty. Looks great in the light, though. He's probably gonna get it coated with something to help with that.
There are cleaners specifically for those satin finishes.
I bet vinegar would clean it up cheaper.
This one is sweet. Identical to the one on my bucket list. Then they’ll be another one in Alabama 😎. I wonder if a ceramic coating would work on the flat paint. That could help with keeping it clean....maybe...
According to Matt Laidlaw, the flat paints do have a clear coat on them, it's just not glossy. It would probably work, but might make that flat clear glossier looking.
Got a 2017 Chieftain Limited in the same color. I absolutely love it. Waiting for my Lloyd’z cams to come in. Not like I could ride it with all the snow. So you got to keep making vids so I could make it through.
I got more coming! Starting to ramp back up. 👌😎
also have the 17 in white, stage 2 and programmer absolutely luv it
Whew Lawd....
Just rode across Australia on my Road King and whilst I enjoyed it I wouldn't turn around and go back straightaway on it but that new Indian Chieftain could tempt me easily. I hope he has the time of his life on that thing.
He's enjoying it a lot so far! 👌😎
I don't have trouble since the back end is lower due to the ramp decline. Only go up as high as needed. To high could be an issue especially if you can't flat foot both feet. But since I normally have other riders around, they always lend a hand while backing it down the ramp. That is a beautiful bike he has there.
Family and friends riding Indians, nice. Soon you will join the pack again. Ride safe everyone.
Very soon! We got a tribe thing going 👌😎
Bought the 19’ Scout a few weeks ago (officially my first chopper) The Dark Horse looks epic, Thanks for all the motorcycle content and information
Sure thing and congrats on your purchase! 👌😎
Hey I know these fellas, they bought the bike here at Indian of PCB
Ayeeeee! I wanted to film the process, but couldn't make the trip with them unfortunately!
@@BrandonBicasso your uncle told me about your channel, I also ride a scout bobber! Let us know if you're around PCB
Will do!
And all those years you thought you were bad !!! Rock on cool ....
He thinks he's hot stuff now 😂😂😂
To stop trailer scrape, once the rear tire is on the down ramp, slide a 1-2" inclined board under the front tire. This will elevate the bike up enough to clear the ramp transition
With another inch, it would've been a bit high to keep level don't you think?
Good job getting it off the trailer!
It was close
Congrats! That’s a great ride!
I think so too! 👌😎
Ok, guess that means your turn Brandon, are you doing the Chieftan too? Starting your own Indian Fan club down that way.
Not sure what I want to do. Temptation is knocking on my door, though.
Get a Springfield with a full-valanced fender.
Your'e not a good influence, lol.
awesome bike- like the rims and stereo !
They get even more crispy in the sunlight 👌😎
Congrats to your uncle and your home girl on her bike BE BLESSED &🏍 SAFE
Likewise! 👌😎
Tell your Uncle......Man he has good taste in Bikes! That White Darkhorse is the Truth.
Ha, will do. He gets it from me 😉
Hey BB... Glad to see you still making videos. How long before you're back on two wheels? Take your time and don't rush it. You need those hands in good condition to ride. BTW... The M109 still looks great. All the best Bro.
Mhmm, I'm thinking maybe a month or so. I'm waiting on the right gear. Hands got a few more weeks to get where I'll feel comfortable riding a good distance. 👌😎
Now you have to get that Springfield Dark Horse
I got some big shoes to fill 👌😎
Beautiful bikes! Im out riding my bike now. Christmas day. Merry Christmas everyone
Glad you're out enjoying your day! Merry Christmas! 👌😎
Nice bike. Picked up a 17 (new) Springfield in October.
Nice! How are you liking it so far, Bock?
So far I Like it. The deal was to good to pass up 4000 off new price :)
@@frankbock760 Oh, now we're talking. Glad you're enjoying it. 👌😎
good thing ur uncle has long legs, he needed them getting bike off the trailer. The M109 sounded awesome...
Yeeeah, I wouldn't be able to do that without having my feet dangling. The 109 is a different breed. The exhaust note is always on point. 👌
Your uncle seems like a cool dude. I thought he was just one of your buddies, he has a young appearance. :) Also nice to see this Indian has more than a bow and arrow to defend himself. ;)
It's a nice ride and yep! He's a cool dude most of the time haha. I kid, I kid.
Hahaha, don't let him read it, he looks like he would open up a can of whoop-ass without blinking an eye! :-)
Congrats to your uncle. Sweet bike. I love my '17 Chieftain Ltd. Pretty envious right now of that weather. down there.......we're looking at 4 more months of cold and snow.
It's winter here and we had a high of 68 😲. Alabama weather tends to flip flop a lot but there were lots of bikes out today. Beautiful day for riding.
@@BrandonBicasso up here a 50 degree day this time of year is a gift and I try very hard not to ignore that. This Sunday up here is supposed to be 60+ by 1:00 Pm and you can bet your Uncle's Indian I'll be out riding! Keep the rubber side down always, and enjoy the freedom.
Oh, wow! The crazy part about our weather is that we had 70s again today, lol. Alabama weather fluctuates a lot.
You are the only one still riding the scout bro, leonore got a chieftain and now your uncle got one too...i think its time you thought about upgrading your ride...👍👍👍
Lol, don't encourage me.
@@BrandonBicasso 😁😁😁, but i do think that you should upgrade to a bigger motorcycle soon...
Ooooooooooh, that color though!!!
It's everything! 👌😎
That color scheme is sweet👌🏾. Congrats to your uncle!
It's smackin' 👌😎
It's smackin' 👌😎
WOW looks just like a street glide.
Eh, the back maybe, but after seeing both side by side today I think the Indian looks better. Maybe the Street Glide Special, but I prefer the look of the Indian.
The Indian fairing reminds me more of the Vic.
You may only need 1/2" - 3/4" lift of the front. Another solution would be to raise the trailer tail end an inch off the ground. Just enough to let the skid plate on bottom of bike clear
That's what my recommendation was but we got lucky this time. Either way, more ways to do it is good to know.
Time for Bicasso to get his own Dark Horse
Whew... maybe.. 👌😎
just a tip if you unload the bike on a sidewalk or curb its a much easier incline for that trailer
Noted! Normally we'd raise it up a bit but that works too. 👌😎
Man, y'all got some fine, BIG bikes among you! I'm looking at a Boulevard as a second bike...can pick it up from my mechanic for a song...and he's done what work has been done on the bike. Could be a great second ride!
Boulevards are great bikes simply from their reliability. I'd never stop recommending a Boulevard. Mine has survived several bikes in my stable. Nothing I've owned has been able to take that itch I have for it. The Scout came close, though.
What kind of bike would the Empire give its storm troopers? Oh, there it is! 😆
Lol, you got that right! It's storm trooper certified 😂😂.
2:35 I like that 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✌✌✌✌
Damn...nice ride!!!
Agreed! 👌😎
White smoke get smoked by dark horse. Victory to the Indian!!
👌😎 It's a heck of a sight in the wind.
My brother!NYC,Brooklyn shouting you out with love.Where you hailing from?
Alabama! 👌😎
Holla back on the reply.Thank you.Currently i am the owner of uh 2018 Olive Gold Road King Special.I am absolutely in love with the Bronze color of the Chieftain Limited Darkhorse!
@@levievans9311 Olive gold? I bet that is a nice color against the sunlight. Solid.
Beautiful bike, from a HD guy
I would love this bike in candy pearl white with high gloss on the paint
With the flake? Whew Lawd..
@@BrandonBicasso Not pearl metal flake, but white pearlescent paint with clear gloss sprayed over the white pearlescent paint. The Indian Elite model that I test rode with the 116 inch engine, had black, pearlescent paint on the gas tank and fenders.
Oh, wow. I like that 116 Limited model with the hand painted silver tank. Incredibly beautiful.
I like the Magnum but I love the Chieftain Darkhorse. I can see me owning one at some point... after the FTR!
You and me both!
Yo I'm super jealous! I have a 16 Scout but I want that pearl Chieftan SO BAD
You gotta add the next piece to your tribe, Natasha! 👌😎 Get that Chieftain!
Liked the magnum better..
I feel it. We still got the orange peel 👌😎
How are the hands healing? I got hit by a 4WD 5 months back on my xsr900, your videos are really getting me through. I'll be getting a scout bobber when I can ride again. Cheers for the content.
Glad you are still here, Deon. I haven't been cleared as 100% yet but I am close. Very close. 👌😎
You'll love the Bobber.
Congratulations
👌😎
What’s tupdate? When r we gonna see you up two wheels
Soon! I promise. I got a quickie on the Chieftain, but I'm waiting on new gear and my hands.
2 down 1 to go.
Congratulations on your uncle new Indian dark horse or should I say dark white horse. Lol.
Are you also trying to tell us something with your Suzuki boulevard?
Wink wink?
Weird that they call it a dark horse and it's white, right? Lol. Also, not sure. My Blvd has survived many bikes in my garage so it may stay even with a new addition.
They don't call him Shorty, do they.
Not even close 😂😂
Too be honest I like the front end of the 2018 model better due to extra dual head lights
Yeah, that's why my friend went with the 2018 instead of the 19. She didn't like the look of the 19 as much.
That blue thing sounds like a broken down 1920s lawn mower
Probably the crappy mic on my phone lol. Sounds like a freight train on a good day. 😂😂
It is like the Wild West around your area, you are surrounded by Indians. On a serious note... do any of the people who traded in a Victory Magnum regret getting rid of their Vics?
Nah, they haven't looked back.
Still ... the Vic Mag is my favorite 👍😂
The orange peel is a fan favorite.
Loading and unloading the big bikes is always sketchy. The Indian is nice for sure but I prefer the M109 due to lack of extraneous BS and the Shelby paint scheme is timeless.
Yeah, luckily he had the height to keep it balanced. I love the stripe set up on the 109. Looks more basic to me without it. Probably why Suzuki has only done the stripe for the last 8 years at least.
If it helps, I think your bike looks cooler. Never see action heroes jumping explosions while riding dressers.
Lmao, that'd be an odd thing to see.
sweet Indian!
I think so too. 👌😎
Sweet 😉
Agreed! 👌😎
That's nice!! Is that stock exhaust?
Correct 😎
Nice bike!!!
Right!? 👌😎
What's up with your bike. Did they total it or rebuilding it?
It's in purgatory. 👌😎
It's beautiful but to bad they got rid of the 2 fog lights. India made a huge mistake on that one
Well, you could still the Chieftain classic. They didn't kill that bike completely. 👌😎
@@BrandonBicasso yes, That's a good thing. I have the 16 chieftain. Here it is. Absolutely love it.
ua-cam.com/video/OUsNTGPYag4/v-deo.html
Love that silver and the flake in the paint!!!!!!!!
Where’s yours? Or are you waiting on the FTR? I would
😂😂😂 The Chieftain is a bit rich for my blood. Not sure if I want to make that leap yet. The FTR is gonna get me in trouble.
That pearl white sure is nice. I like the victory magnum but ever since you did the test ride video got me thinking of giving Indian a call or stick with the Yamaha.
I wanted that pearl white, lol. Have you ridden a Chieftain yet? 👀
Nah the day Indian was in town I had to go out of town so I miss my chance but I’m in Columbus oh riding season on hiatus right now. Jealous of you warm weather states😁😁😁
It's cold here but I'm grateful not to have snow, lol.
Lol there are a few nuts here that I have seen. I like riding but not that much even if I had the gear. Honestly the more I look at them they still look like a magnum
I think so as well. The new Chieftain has Harley features, but that front reminds me of the Victory.
The M109 always sound like that?
On this crappy camera mic it does
Did you get family commission .. plus now you can start your own Bicasso Indian Club
At this dealership I didn't, but I did with Lenore and her 2018. 👌😎
I was just gonna say.Only if you could see it fam.The videos and pictures on You Tube just don't do it the justice.Never rode before.I go out and purchase uh $25,000.00 Touring bike.😂(Last year May 2018)
Lol, your expectations are spoiled now.
It's almost like victory took ten steps backwards and changed their name to Indian ohhhh wait that's exactly what happened and guess what still selling the same amount as victory smh ...
Ah, well. We like them. 😎
@@BrandonBicasso hey I'd rather ride either rather than a Harley but I was just in a position to get a new bike and guess what I opted for the 2017 victory magnum instead of a Chieftain and I get more attention love and have way more fun than anyone on a Harley either way Indian or victory both amazing bikes
Hey, long as you enjoy it! I'm all for the Magnum and X1 too!!!
😍
Right?! 😍😍😍😍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh man!!!!!!! Unsubscribing at this point........... lol. J/k. That thing is awesome! Hope you are healing well. You could have one just like it soon!! Little side note, I know not everyone is a fan and I wasn't either for a long time but I wish you could get the big gaudy deep dish front fender on that bike, They grew on me B, They grew on me.......
The deep dish fender is a nice touch and old school. I got a thing for it. Not sure what I want to do yet, but we'll see. 👌😎
@@BrandonBicasso I really do enjoy my scout. If something were to happen and I get an opportunity to maybe replace it, I would ride everything I could find. As much as I do love Indian I wouldn't care what brand it was if I loved it. My biggest problem is now that I have owned a scout I would probably buy something I have never had lol. Love that Chieftain.
You next😂
Lol, don't be spreading those rumors around.
Why is it on a trailer? That's when I turned off the video
Too tired to ride it back. Safer that way.
@@BrandonBicasso I would think the opposite hauling a trailer but it's a good looking bike good luck with her ! Been riding HD and customs that I built for 32 years and if I bought a new bike I would also go with Indian HD is going down hill I believe Indian will take over......
Nah, the Gent that rides the orange Victory went with him. He rode it back about 80 miles before calling it quits. Then one of the trailer tires blew out which is why it's sitting on the trailer. Heck of a trip back, lol. I was at work while this all happened so I missed the fun. Also, while it's looking bleak for HD, I think it's an exciting time for them. They're creating some wild stuff while keeping the traditional creations there. What do you think?
@@BrandonBicasso yeah what a trip I would have freaked out on the tire blowing ! I really don't like the new HDs I think some of the new ones are ugly . It's not just the bikes the new CEO don't even ride ? It used to be all about American made and now that's gone . The last time I went to a stealership it was more suits and business type people working there no bikers like it used to be most all won't even look at a shovel head or earlier modles now it's plug in a computer . I will never get a bike with EFI I have a carb and always will I can build my evo engine and anything else on it . Alot of us older riders feel the same.....oh by the way the orange victory was bad ass love that bike
Oh, wow! Yeah, I grew up in the tech age so of course I'm all for the electronics. I do want to one day have enough space or money to buy a carb bike and rebuild something. I like to get my hands dirty, but don't have the space. I bought a Gsx-r a few years ago and got it back to running condition. I knew what was wrong with it and fix everything down to the fuel rails. I couldn't get to them and had to take it to the shop to get it cleaned. Tank rusted out along with the fuel pump so trash was all throughout the lines.
This bike has VERY nice contrast.
Looks extra crispy when the sunlight hits it. 👌😎
@@BrandonBicasso I've read on the Indian owners forum that the paint on the Indian , Dark Horse bikes has VERY THIN paint and chips very easy when small rocks hit the fenders on the road. The paint on the Dark Horse bikes also scratches very easy too.
Yeah, I was telling him he should probably get it coated with ceramic or some type of sealant. We'll see what he does.
