I got mine a few weeks ago. I owned Harly for almost 10 years and I am impressed with the quality and the handling of this bike. Its awesome bike out of the box. It sounds great. I love everything about it.
Congratulations on the new ride!
Only owned uh Harley for 10 months.2018 Road King Special.I definitely like the Indians. The new fairing on the Chieftain Limited Darkhorse is so sweet.Enjoy your new ride my man.
I too was a owner of a 1991 Harley Softail Custom and a 2010 Harley Streetglide, totaling 22 years ownership. Both bikes sold and after taking several demo rides on the 2019 Indian Chieftain Darkhorse, I bought me one. Awesome ride, handling and technology. The Thunderstroke 111ci motor with Stage 2 cams and Stage 1 exhaust and air intake never disappoint and always left a smile on my face.
Great review, I love Indian Motorcycle they are killing it.
Yes they are! Thank you
I love that Indian ! If I was going to buy one it would be that bike ! GODBLESS
I agree this one really made an impression on me!
Great job Stan! It's always good to have a H2W video that coincides with an article in the magazine! It's an example of the added bonus that we offer to our advertisers and readers!
Nice Video work Terri😘!
On On On🌝
Went with a virtual HD fairing and front guard - seperate indicators - single hinge on the panniers - dials so far apart a d an intrusive ‘desk top’ computer screen. I prefer my 2016 styling wise 😎
I like your disclaimer at the beginning of the video.... I demoed that bike Last Summer and it was pretty comfortable ride
Thank you. So many riders out there are so brand loyal that they lose the opportunity to ride other incredible motorcycles, glad to hear test road one and you appreciated that disclaimer.
Hey man... great review😎👍🏻
Very good review. Damn nice looking bike for sure. Ride Safe!
Thank you, yea this one is a looker for sure and wow what a nice ride!
You did an excellent job with this video, thank you for sharing in with us that is the bike I do wanna buy next maybe just a different color!! But God bless you bro and your family!!
Thank you this is a fun bike to ride and one I would place at the top of my list if I were in the market.
Hey are you planning on doing a ride review for the Indian FTR 1200 I saw it at the New York motorcycle show and I was super impressed by the way it looked by the way great video
Thank you! Yes I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on one. They still have not arrived here in CA yet due to our over the top regulations from our air resources board, I am hearing we should start to get them around the first of the year after Indian has jumped through all of CA hurdles grrrr! lol.
Im sold , I am going to cape coral fl and they have one , i will trade my 2016 chieftain classic . i been waiting for the Modes and the navigation , that bike does really stand out .
I hoping to make that my next bike here real soon.
You will love it! Thanks for watching
Great review, very informative :)
Thank you
It ain’t a Harley but..... definitely would be my 2nd choice
I just love the fact that we have choices and competition in the industry is a healthy thing! Enjoy the hell out of what ever you ride!! Thank you for watching and commenting
Rode Harleys for 50 years and still have a Heritage Softail , if you Never ridden a Indian , you haven't Lived .
Nice video Stan.
Thank you
I love the ( bat window .)
Yes I think it was a big improvement over the more round nose look they have been using.
What do the handlebars cost to add
The bars from Indian come in at $349.99 in polished or black. My understanding is that you will not need to change out cables for the Mid rise bars that are on this one, so that does make the job a bit easier. I shot a text over to my local dealer to see what they charge to install and will pass that along when I get it, although that price could be different at other dealerships. Thank you
C&E Auburn Indian & V-Twin $859 installed plus grips if needed hope this helps
How's the suspension? My 2016 Street Glide Special is atrocious, it's the one thing I don't like about it
Suspension is one of the best quality's of this bike. The fox mono shock does an outstanding job of keeping the ride smooth and comfortable, it is also adjustable so you can make it just as good two up or riding solo.
rickybobby1340 ----> I took a demo ride on the 2019 , Harley Street Glide and the 2019, Indian ,Chieftain. The seat on the Chieftain was more comfortable than the seat on the Street Glide and the rear mono shock on the Chieftain was the winner when riding over road bumps when compared to the 2019, Harley ,Street Glide.
2016 street glide rear suspension travel = 2.1"
any year chieftain rear suspension travel = 4.5"
How does the fairing work as far as head buffeting?
That is were the adjustable wind screen shines allowing you to adjust the wind flow to your preference. When I got out on the free way i did not notice any buffeting around my helmet. Thank you for checking in and hope this helps
What was that intro song. Made me wanna get up dance
The song Target Practice by Riot, glad you like it. All the music that we include comes from the UA-cam Audio Library So we can avoid copy write issues so not always the music that we wish we could use but some of it is not bad at all. Thanks again
🏁
Great job, Indian
Thank you
Could this be a beginner bike?
not for beginners , go with a Scout
Ride command is not new for 19 otherwise solid video
Thank you
