Great video and refresher, thanks Maria! 🤗 I love when you repeat and say multiple times.
You are so welcome! And thanks for letting me know!!!! I’ve learned after being an instructor for 27 years that sometimes students loose focus & if they didn’t hear the first time they will catch it on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th 😂

You can do it! You have been studying all this time! I assume you just graduated & went through the program so you can do it!!!! Use your body as a guide to visualize the muscles & how they move. Mblex questions include more actions of muscles. Please let us know how you did! Good luck 🙏🙏🙏

Hi Maria, I really enjoyed your videos. Bless you for sharing your knowledge. I would like to ask if you can recommend a good book for studying Deep Tissue Massage. I would really appreciate it if you can recommend it, please. Many thanks 🙏🏻
I appreciate the feedback & support. I can recommend Leon Chaitow Modern Neuromuscular Techniques. Pretty much any neuromuscular massage book. And it’s because it’s deep but because it’s very specific work. Congrats on your continued studies!!!
@@MassageTherapeutics915 Thank you very much. God Bless you!!!
@@priscilaromero4901 I appreciate the blessings 🙏❤️
Vestas tendinosis?? I can't find anything on Google about that.
I had not heard of it myself but in my research I found that it’s a degenerative condition of the vastus lateralis tendon. Something to do with the collagen and the tendon of that muscle. Sometimes it’s due to repetitive motions. Did you work out a lot??? Hope you’re getting treatment
@MassageTherapeutics915 the video had those words posted on it: "vestas tendinosis." When Maria was talking about the vastus muscles. I was wondering why?
@@deborahsolomon2063 I don’t remember that. 😩
@@MassageTherapeutics915
It was at 9:48 when you said vastustendinosus also reflective of the slide which reads, “vestas tendinosis.” I think she meant to say, “semitendinosis.”
Note, it could also be that some one else is doing the editing and is not an LMT (massage therapist) and that would explain the typos and misspelling. But just my guess…
With that being said, I think Ms. Marie simply and unintentionally just misspoke, which is normal for alot of people. You often will catch people saying something and unless brought to their attention they don’t realize it. happens to me and I’ve seen many people do it from time to time in casual conversation and even lectures.
However, I will point out that the title of the slide should be “hamstring muscle” and “Semitendinosus,” was misspelled. It read, “semitendiMosus” instead of “Semitendinosus.”
I know Ms. Marie knows her stuff. I am at times guilty of not proof reading or editing. Sometimes I get lazy and just want to be done with a project so things gets missed.
Overall, us newer massage therapists are immensely grateful for her willingness to share what she knows.
Thank you Ms. Marie and respectfully…
