KSP was all i need to get a solid grasp in general relativity and newtonian mechanics
you play the game with the principia mod and you might as well start your own space agency in your back yard.

It's so cute how he looks so dapper with his bowtie and how he clapped when he safely landed Baby's First Rocket (Mark 1 command pod, parachute, "Flea" solid fuel rocket and 4 fins).

My step father does something extremely similar to what Emil does it's almost the exact description he's given. His company works with nasa sometimes and he works with them on the software stuff for satellites
My wife’s boyfriend also does the same and he recently worked with space x. I am very happy that he does and sometimes he comes over to my house and kisses me goodnight and hang out with my ex wife on the couch.

Well i mean the pilot is pretty much playing pretend, where the computer is giving the illusion that the pilot is flying it but its actually just all the computer doing it

Landing on the Mun for the first time is one of the most satisfying moments in KSP. Landing in KSP in general on other bodies is very satisfying.

This guy has obviously played before, took me so long to even learn the controls of this game let alone making maneuvers.

You can see the cut where they told him what button to use to turn on the SAS, and he makes a gravity turn opposite of Kerbal's spin, so I doubt he's played much before it at all. He's probably using ships someone else built, and they're probably cutting out the parts where he messes up.

He didn't make the lander or rover. Those look like they were built by someone who plays Kerbal since they had experiments on them (which he didn't use).

Did you know that the rover can actually fly on the Mun with its RCS thrusters?
At 1:25 there is a typo in the subtitles: it says "of the space life cycle is the orbit," when the engineer actually said "of the space life cycle is de-orbit" , which is the action of "slowing" down the space craft so it lands back on Earth; de-orbiting can be referred to as landing on a planet if your spaceship was kept around the planet by its gravity.
At 2:12 there is another error in the subtitles: the subtitles say "kind of like the X, Y, Z access." when the engineer actually said "kind of like the X, Y, Z axis."
Have them play ksp 2 when it come out, I’d love to see that

Unforntly kerbals won't die by age and lack of nourishment so basicly you can have them wait on the moon for around 1000 years for some one to pick you up

I've always wondered if they have components on spacecraft that need to be installed and washed off because of oil on the fingers. Like how you can't touch a light bulb while installing it in cars etc
Anything that goes to space is usually built in a cleanroom. I doubt anything is touched by ungloved hands. If any part of the spacecraft will land on a planet/moon/asteroid, it has to be completely sterile by international law.
Someone should play planet zoo on the channel.

@@Stormento_ There's no way he made the last 2 ships himself. Especially the rover...KSP is weird with those, you have to experiment a bit before you can build a good one. It's not a matter of scientific understanding, just practice. It was pre-built by someone who's put in significant hours and then warped to the surface of the Mun.
