Anyone else notice Molly's brother Sully playing guitar and Molly's spiritual little sister AJ Lee playing mandolin and also singing vocals there as well?....It's always a very special treat to see them all re-united on stage together again!

Good point, the song writing heritage of SF and the Bay Area is quite special. As a SF native I enjoyed the magic in the 65-75 calendar years and like most realized how special it was when it was happening. Great to see the torch still burning bright.
I remember seeing and hearing Molly first play publicly with her father (and A.J.) when she was about 15 years old. I was an avid attendee of the the Redwood Bluegrass Associates concerts in Mountain View, CA. where the Tuttle family (and A.J) played several times over the years. Molly has blossomed into one of the finest guitarists and singers I have had the good fortune to see evolve from her early beginnings.

Molly played this as her encore the other night in Boston. So lovely and so apt! Guess the folks at the Soundry in Maryland got to hear her play it on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Thanks for sharing.
A very tasty choice! This is a beautiful cover of one of my personal favorite Grateful Dead tunes. I always loved this song. I'm so glad to see someone take it up and keep this song happening.

I never understood the Grateful Dead obsession. I saw then once, the weekend of the first Atlanta Pop Festival, in Piedmont Park, a free concert. I love her rendition but every rendition on You Tube done by the Dead is musically crap!
I was surprised by all the chatter that night. Sold-out show. Hometown crowd for Molly. But I've seen this several times now at this venue. On a Saturday night like this, with tickets just $20, you have people showing up with no clue who the performers are and who just treat them as background music for their conversations. It's really a shame.

She is "Standing (As IF) on the moon" Looking at everything from "an-ABOVE -IT-ALL" place, where she feels the old urges, The metaphor: "There Is A rebel Flag Beside Me Someone planted long ago", means that When she was a young, She & her dearly departed were Patriots. rebels in the struggle Against the Vietnam war. "Old Glory standing Stiffly Crimson, White & Indigo" = Red White & Blue !! She is having all these thoughts as she sees how history repeats itself: "...soldiers come & go" please look at the world that we have now and please vote for Human Rights & freedom not a lying wanna-be dictator

But yes, by all means vote for Human Rights. And by that I mean the Human Right to free speech, and the right to freely exercize one's religion both inside and outside the doors of a house of worship. And let's not forget the Human Right to not be compelled by the government to do things that are opposed to our deeply held religious beliefs. Also the Human Right to defend yourself, your family and your property by any means necessary including the use of firearms. How about the most precious Human Right of all, the right to be born? Please don't forget to vote for that! I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that.

I’ve seen 300+ Dead shows (72-95) and been fortunate enough to see Molly perform 5 times. It warms my heart to see and hear this.
