I'm floored every time Molly pulls out another classic. Her voice on this gives me goosebumps. Her guitar playing is phenomenal as per usual, her high speed playing is always a fun ride, and the slow stuff is so evocative and heartfelt. She's a rare artist whose music and performances are emotionally moving.
Absolutely lovely... After hearing Jerry and the boys play this traditional tune about a dozen times over the years, it's nice to hear Molly' breathe new life into the arrangement.
It's a cool feeling to be around as an immense talent like Molly Tuttle blossoms, matures - whatever you want to call it. She just gets better and better all the time. It feels like a gift to witness.
About 20 years ago I picked up an 1963 O18 from Gryphon, It forced me to figure out how to always drop a string from my rhythm playing. Otherwise all 6 strings would overwhelm the sound board. It was very cool, and rewarding 7 year study. Passed the guitar on to a little coffee shop in South Carolina when I was done.
Damn, that's the best plugged in sound for an acoustic I've heard. Just learned Molly uses a ToneDexter pedal. I never play plugged in because I hate that quacky piezo sound, but this totally transforms it. I'm sold.
Impeccable technique. She deserves all the honors she has and will receive. I started listening to her a year or so ago; she's become a favorite picker - and I love her singing and songwriting too. Heck of a talent.
Oh Molly....get yourself back to the UK.....please please pretty please! Another truly fabulous performance! The word 'legend' is bandied around abit too freely these days, but Molly will be a genuine LEGEND. Sooooooo good.
Molly Tuttle I'm family, your version of cold rain and snow is phenomenal wow I truly captured the meaning of the song hearing u sing it and well icant say unless u ask what I was going to say you already know
I love her voice and her playing. And the sound of this band. And the song. Did I mention her voice? I would love to hear this with a pedal steel in the mix.
Love this arrangement with the violin and electric guitar AND also love her solo version without backup and exceptional acoustic guitar work that perfectly compliments her voice.
Great performance by Molly and band. Her facility on the guitar always amazes me, how she plays so effortlessly with such accuracy. Molly's vocals are also outstanding and full of emotion. What a gal.
Wow! What a vibe! Captivating. Genuine. I like the lineup, with fiddle and electric guitar. Compare this to the prefab, computer-generated "music" that dominates mainstream pop culture and you'll find... there's no comparison! Molly is ready for the world, and I hope the world is ready for her!
Que voz!!! Válgame el cielo, que voz, benditos los oídos que te oyen. Me has hecho soltar una lagrimas. Este tema clásico folk puesto en fama por los Dead and Pentagle, y se actualiza ahora con Molly, perfecto simplemente perfecto.
Another terrific rendition of this classic. Really like how you have developed your guitar lines & your voice is so compelling and melodic. That telecaster player is a brave man to share the stage with you. Did like the fiddler tho - very tasty!
She can play this masterfully by herself and then masterfully she brings together select accompaniment. (Though there's more creative evolution from Molly Tuttle, I vote in favor of keeping the tele, bass, etc...)
This is one of those performances that just make you grateful somebody was rolling tape.
Molly Tuttle is such a complete musician. Even plays the spaces with such command. She is the very best. Her singing is captivating. ❤❤❤
This performance deserves to be in several halls of fame for several different categories.

I was unsure abut whether or not she had talent without your assurance. LOL
Got goosebumps on this one too
Well said.
She brings dowerness to this song.
She made it different, she made it her own.
And ain't it sumptin', --- just fucking beautiful

Damn. What a singer. 64 and I have goose bumps. Love that voice/guitar.
How can one not love her? Music, virtuosity, beauty, and best of all, a sense of humility and goodness.
That's exactly what I've been saying for about 2 or 3 years now.
Her homage not only to a folk classic, but to Jerry Garcia is unmistakable - in my mind. This is one of my favorite songs she does.
I see Molly, I click 'Like'! If there was a 'Love' choice, I'd click that one!

I watched her do it too!! We are all very proud of her!!
Yep. I discovered her four years ago at a U of Richmond concert. :-)
It just seems so natural to her, that voice is pretty clear too. Love me some Molly picking . This is a nice rendition too.
I just love that she's playing an acoustic guitar and her backup guy is playing an electric guitar. Just gorgeous!
M.T. What a performer! Thanks!!
She's awesome. Got a lifetime of stardom to achieve.
Thumbs up ain't quite enough for that!
MAN! She's got IT all!!
I don't have the words to praise this level of talent.
