@@pluvse Ultimately an LG C3. I couldn’t stand the motion in either the TCL or Hisense in fast games.
@@pluvse QM7 had much better motion out of the two though. But at the end of the day OLED motion is just perfect to me
Does it have full array local dimming?
Yes
Is c755 the same model with a different name?
How is this with a xbox one x and nintendo switch? Cause id use those along side my ps5
I think on the PlayStation to use 1440 you gotta turn VRR off ?!
I runs a check for all of that using hdmi
What's your favorite picture settings for the qm7 gaming mode?
I just use default settings
DO u think the 98” qm8 2024 go down next year Black Friday around $2000 like the 98” qm7 next year ??I kinda wanna wait next year for the 98”qm8
That’s a long time from now
@ but I already have the 98” S5 that’s why I thought maybe can wait it out before I upgrade to mini led and maybe the 98”qm8 might go down to $2000
@@TechSteve Is the 98” TCL S5 sclass screen simiGloss exactly same like the 98” qm7??? I kind of like the glossy look .. 👀
Im thinking to buy this tv, I have apple tv 4k, do you think is better to use built-in goole tv instead external streaming device? Thanks
There’s more apps on google but i still use my apple TV
Hello, do I need a HDMI 2.1 to get to 120 hertz? When I open up the game master it says I only have 60 fps and the VRR is off. Is there anyway I can turn the VRR on?
You need a HDMI 2.1 of ps5 it’s game based in xbox you can preset to 120hz
@@TechSteve Alright I bought a HDMI 2.1 and should arrive tomorrow. How do I turn on the VRR? It says off for me I followed all the steps and settings and it still says OFF
@brainesales2449 just wait until you get your cables
Great for gaming and picture is gorgeous 👍
can you change the cross hair from the bulky circle?
Only the built-in presets
Is this QM7 a US only model as here in the UK we cannot find it anywhere? Or can it have a different model number for a UK model. Thanks
The uk uses C series and people keep asking me to review them 🤦🏽♂️
This or Hisense u7n?
Ratings just reviewed this model. They say it has terrible precalibration. What to do if you don't want to spend hundreds for a calibrator to come to your home???
I don’t think the average person will see or notice a bad picture, if not you need to pay someone
Fair enough
@@kcstereothey give put their version of calibrations there on the site.
Does this tv have the nextgen tv ATSC 3?
9:17 in your video when I go under picture mode I can’t find where it says game like it does on your video. I get a couple options but game is not one of them :(. Any help greatly appreciated
Does this tv support DTS X on the Disney + app via E arc from the tv to the A/V that can decode DTS X?
I don’t think there’s a way to test that since DTS X is virtual surround that works with most audio
Does this tv have a power button on the side and column etc ? On the tv ?
On bottom
This TV‘s been amazing but my question is do I hook my PS5 up to hdmi 1 the 144 Hz or hdmi 2 the 120 Hz right now I got it in hdmi 2 ?
It doesn’t matter because the ps5 doesn’t support 144
Love the channel
This or Sony X90L?
Why don’t support 120hz with 1440 ? But 4k 120 ???
RTings explicitly states this model does indeed do 1440p 120hz. So was there an update?
I didn’t test the xbox yet overriding the system HDMI , but i showed you what happened in the real world with the PS5
@@TechSteve I'll be using a PC once I get the QM7. I game at 1440p exclusively. That was the reason I was asking.
It’s not a native resolution, i think the Hisense did support it native
Will you be doing the Q651G
Not at this time
Do the 6 series please
When is the full review coming!
No time line yet
what is that grey tab near the top right corner of the frame, can it be removed?
No it shows the model of the TV
A little black sharpie or nail polish makes it disappear.
Thanks Bud.
What input do I plug my Apple TV on this?
Any
@@TechSteve I just picked up this tv tonight. Upgrading form a lg 6300 from
2017. I’m so excited
Please provide a future update
I have this tv and ps5, but the frames per second is capped at 60 I don’t know why. Any ideas?
Are you plugged into the correct HDMI port and using the cable that came with the PS5?
@8-bitninja122 the PS5 only does 120Hz on certain games, you can check the HDMI support in the video options. You have to use the correct input and HDMI 2.1 cable
Use HDMI 2 Port for 120
