Felt no relief from what i thought was PCS for a year until I focused on my neck, specifically my suboccipitals. I was convinced it was brain damage the entire time. Listen to this man and know there's hope.
Excellent Video! I'm going through all this now, so only a bit of new info for me, but it was well explained and a really good way for people going through this to get a grasp on the healing journey ahead of them. I wish I could have seen this a few months ago when all this started for me, though even now it is reassuring I'm not just throwing my money away by pursuing different areas of treatment at the same time.
This is encouraging because I just started therapy and I've felt worse after the stimulation but did notice reduced severity in between txt. I'm just learning about vestibular issues. How do I get vestibular txt. Ahhh
How often should we do our neck exercises? Once a day in the morning? Or possibly morning lunch and night. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
College semester started and tons of chemistry, trig, and intense critical thinking and long periods of driving led to a system meltdown. I was suicidal wedness and
What would you do if someone had a broken neck, c6/c7 and now got metal plates in that area and got concussion for over 6 weeks now showing all symptoms what rehab would you do?
Brilliant video. What's your take on patients who get super ill going to and from treatment? I haven't been capable of seeing more than one practicioner at once, because one trip a week sets me back several days. How is it possible to see several docs if one trip a week is so draining?
@@RG-rl6hj I've gotten much more ill sadly. Haven't been able to leave the house for 6 months. But I'm pretty sure it's due to instability in the neck.
Doctor, hello! Please tell me six months after the disappearance of symptoms, there was an increased sensitivity of the head to blows and something similar to an exacerbation and a new occurrence of this syndrome. How can this be cured?
I wish i had a better concussion specialist for my daughter. He's a specialist in a concussion clinic in a major city but has done nothing more than say take a multivitamin and made her feel like she has to be faking because none of his patients have never missed more than 3 days of school and she can barely do more than 10 minutes after 9 months. He has suggested nothing.
@@CompleteConcussions i dont think this dr could have done less for her. He works with professional sports teams so must usually do something. I dont know why he decided to not care about my daughter. Its been so discouraging. She's just not getting better and has missed almost a full year of school now (grade 10). Thankfully chiro has helped her a lot but not enough to get her doing much school work again.

Quite the contrary! It should be a multipronged approach :)

Is there a test that can tell people what kind of neck problem they have?

You must be over doing it big time. I hopeyou have learned your triggers and the onset and length of episode

What about if you have pressure in one ear? Almost feels like it’s clogged sometimes. Recovering from PCS, wonder if this is related to neck or eyes
It's a sure neck problem
I have this too! First time I've heard someone with a similar concussion symptom. Have you solved the issue?
Update: it certainly was my neck the whole time
HOW could I reach out to you personally? I'm a chiropractor and would love to talk more about this with you, (all positive btw). Thanks!
Prolotherapy for cervical instability?
Minimal evidence but some have found it helpful...best to look into it and see if it's right for you.
@@CompleteConcussions how should you treat cervical instability instead?

Doesn't sound like much of a concussion specialist...
