@@gerald216 My instinct tells me it's a super Mario world thing. I'm likely wrong though.
Normally you finish a level with a finish line tape... thing. Quite distinct. Though sometimes, mostly in switch palaces, you finish a level with a questionmark in an orb. It's fairly unusual in the game and certainly merited the, allegedly, original chant.
      Maybe you knew all that.
Also, to be clear. Speculating a lot on my part. This a gut feeling at most. If someone has looked up or knows the origin of the orb chant feel free to chime in.

Seriously, I'm amazed at how often I come back to rewatch this. It's the first ever Speedrun i saw and even live, 'cause Twitch recommended it for me and I couldn't say no to Pokemon Crystal & oh Boy, I'm so glad, I was able to find this. The whole Run is so damn wholesome & I srsly think, this couldn't have been this entertaining if it wasn't for the exact given Setup of Keiz, Couchcrew and sonicmega. I've laughed less, FAR less, on many of my favourite shows and if I have a miserable Day, nothing cheers me up as much as this Run and these 6 People nailing these (almost) 4 hours. There was no part of this run that I didn't like. From start to finish I had nonstop smiles on my face. My only regret is that I couldn't donate live. Thank you all so much for this.

This run is awesome. I doubt I would have been able to watch it all without Keizaron and the couch's commentary but they made the 3+ hours awesome. This run was an incentive killer. I can't believe they finished the deltarune incentive so fast.

One of the best runs and most fun runs in this SGDQ, and perhaps one of the best in the whole GDQ history. Shoutouts to the runner and to the host, that dealt with this whole chaos like a trooper. Fantastic run. Loved it.

02:45:21, asks pokeguy how long Kanto takes. He guesses 47 minutes; add 47 minutes to run-timer? 03:31:05... within 10 seconds hahaha, these guys do have it down to a science.

I’ve always been put off by the explanations of mechanics in these runs but this Keizaron guy and his back up dancers really made it enjoyable. This is great, and I am glad it was largely benefiting a good cause
