    Hola otra vez, mi amiga! You know I'm going with the Wired. Its all there, love the techy display, got a good peace of mind to go with it, and you know I'd make that bike look like a show piece;) I'll pass on the Goat, thank you. People may look at me and think thats my style but nooo. It looks too..juvenile for my age (and mamasitas might think that too). Well sure if it wasn't for the battery that's placed and looks like a gas tank but it's too cringe looking for me to get caught on. But that's just me! Everyone's different so If others like it, go for it! Ugh, and that weird Goat spiky seat you showed in the in the first minute. It looks like something they'd make me sit on if I was found guilty of witchcraft in the late 1600's.

    Corrections as the video plays. The rotors ARE 180mm on Wired Freedom (hereafter "WF"), the Motor Goat V3 (hereafter "MG3") are a larger 203mm rotor.
    The Torque figure is a bit confusing, but with the smaller wheels on the MG3, it (in other comparative testing) It climbed a hill slightly faster than the WF.
    The motor on the MG3 is gearless but has "windings" designed to optimize torque more than a typical gearless motor.
    The Kenda tires are great tires, but the Innova tires are optimized for the street, with less whine (I know this because I have another bike which I switched to the Innova tires, they are much quieter and give more sure-footed cornering on the streets at speed).
    138Nm torque is a good number, but keep in mind other bikes (Like Keetles, Zeegr, SMLRO) produce a combined torque of 160Nm of torque.
    The MG3 sells a dual-battery kit, which adds another 20 Amp Hour (Ah) capacity to the bike. No such kit exists for the WF.
    For those ordering the MG3 in March of 2024, they get an improved "Sine Wave Controller", which will make the motor even quieter, and run faster than the earlier version of the controller.
    MG3 is switching to Samsung 21700 batteries as well.
    The WF uses a semi-custom battery pack/ with unique connectors which locks you in to buying replacements from Wired Freedom. The MG uses XT90 connectors for the power output, which can be picked up in most RC hobby shops. The MG3 has battery packs which can be sourced through other sources. Keep in mind that all battery packs are rebuildable. Bad cells can be replaced.
    You mentioned the re-enforced gears on the WF bike, but the MG3 has no gears (direct drive motor). So, there will be no reliability issues with the non-existent gears in the MG3. I thought this video was a comparison of these two bikes.
    You do hit the nail on the head on "style". I like the more bike-like appearance of the WF. Keep in mind the part of the video where you are mentioning peddling on the wired freedom, it is several minutes of video, of you not peddling. So, perhaps for you not peddling due to a small chainring is not much of a penalty.
    The MG3 suspension is branded as well, with compression and rebound adjustments. But if you are a lighter rider, you should consider swapping out the spring for a lighter spring. Otherwise, the rear suspension may be a bit stiff for some people's liking.
    Quite frankly I am on the fence on these two bikes. I have an eBike (Zeegr S1), and I will state a bench seat (like the MG3 has) is more comfortable than a stock classical bike seat. Both bikes are fast and capable. The hill climbing ability of the MG3 edges out the WF bike by a small margin (based upon another UA-camr's tests). I like the easy ability to add a second battery with a factory kit for the MG3. With my current bike I can only do the round-trip to work and back about 3 times with the bike I currently have before it must be recharged. It would be sweet to be able to charge the batteries on Sunday and ride a bike all 5 workdays without having "range anxiety". For those who ride on the streets, the integrated turn signals, taillight, and brake light on the MG3 is another plus.
    The integrated wheel lock on the MG3 is nice, for those rare times where there is little or nothing to lock a bike to. A thief won't get too far trying to drag a 103 pound bike. Admittedly, the thief could throw it in the bed of a pickup truck and drive off with it. For my current bike, I refuse to do business with anyplace which does not have a substantial location to double lock my bike with quality locks.
    Thank You for putting this video together, as you can tell I have a thriving interest in both of these bikes.

    • @electrifiedlatina6871
      @electrifiedlatina6871  7 місяців тому +1

      This is a coincidence! Since both e-bikes have 60v batteries and are around the same price- a lot of people have been debating between the two! Wired doesn’t have a UL certification- but I’m hoping they will since they’re always upgrading their e-bikes. And yes, Goat says they will upgrade to Samsung- we’ll have to see if that happens. The weight on the Goat is 103 pounds so much heavier than Wired. And the price on the Wired doesn’t include shipping- it’s an additional $250- plus taxes depending on what state you’re in. So they’re super close in price!

    I already have a 2024 Wired Freedom, but I'd still like to get the Motor Goat. But for some reason, when it comes to the Motor Goat, I don't get that same "I gotta get that right now, no matter what" feeling that I got when I first heard about the Wired Freedom.
    They are 2 totally different form factors that have their respective spaces. The Freedom seems to be more for trails while the Goat seems more for streets. Perfect example is that the Freedom has a detachable front wheel to make it easier to load into your car, while the Goat does not.
    The Freedom is lighter in weight, but goes a few miles slower at top speed so in essence if you place them side by side in a test run with the same rider, they maybe neck and neck. I don't know for sure since I don't have a Goat to test.

      3) will you be riding mainly on paved roads or some off roading too?
      4) what’s important to you? Speed? Torque? Being able to carry a load? Riding on upmost comfort?

    Since I ride motorcycles (and already have a few in my garage), it’s tough for me to justify a Moto-styled e-Bike above $2k…
    However, the unassuming speed and looks of the Wired Freedom is the best of both worlds. I prefer an e-bike that looks like a bike, and can move faster than most cars are allowed to go where I live in NYC. And since the wired looks like a regular e-bike, I get to take with me on various modes of public transportation (including the NYC Ferry, which I ride often).
    Otherwise, at the price of the Motor GOAT, I’d honestly prefer to buy a cheap(er) used smaller cc motorbike, which will not only go faster, but I won’t have to worry as much about range/battery anxiety.
    Thanks for posting!

    I wouldn't consider the Goat anything more than an uncomfortable wannabe moped. It's not really an ebike like the Wired is, where you can pedal and go off road and smash through the woods with it. The goat seems more for small people, kids, or those that aren't the rugged type that like adventure.

      The seat is at a height of the Motor Goat v3 is 33 inches. The pictures of it throw a lot of people off, and they think it is a short bike. I ran into the same issue with an eBike I bought. I thought it wasn't as tall, and only had to raise the seat 1 inch to be at the ideal height for proper leg stroke for the pedals.

  • @erides
    @erides 7 місяців тому +3

    I will start with few error listed in video about n.m torque Goat bikes listed 110nm and you have 10. You can not really compare those 2 bikes as they are in different category. Goat bikes come with direct drive motor and I thought the only negative might be the torque it will produce but from testing on the step hill that bike went up hill 2 times faster than bafang with 100n.m . That make me think Wired bikes might not do as well up hill as goat bikes. I never tested wired bikes but I have the feeling it will go up hill slower for few reason. the wheel 26 inches and less power even they claim it will higher torque. Also, goat bikes can be ridden off road but not like down hill bikes the same as wire bikes. I am going to take it off road later on when We get drier weather . The goat bikes has much better mug wheels. The way the frame built and all the option to add another battery make the motor goat much better choice if person wants speed with less pedaling and better quality ebike. there is no bike on the market like Goat bikes now under $2500.

    • @VEGITAS4
      @VEGITAS4 7 місяців тому +1

      I think the difference in the wheel size might explain the torque. The 20” wheel bikes tend to outperform the 26” bikes in the torque department. If the motor goat had 26” wheels I think it would be a different story

    • @erides
      @erides 7 місяців тому +1

      @VEGITAS4 yes, that is one reason it will out perferm wired bikes, but mug wheels are stronger and heavier which is great for higher speed to be better on road and less maintenance. Spokes always will pop when too much weight or torque used..

      Yeah I’m aware of the mistake on my graphic- I did explain and apologize in my description saying it was meant to say 110 nm of torque.I completely agree with your statement about “you can’t really compare the 2 bikes as they are in a different category “. If you watch my video this is exactly what I said, but I did the comparison video anyways because a lot of my viewers are torn between this two bikes. And the Wired is a climbing monster with its 138nm of torque, way more torque than a Bafang with a 750w or 1000w. The Wired is definitely better suited for off roading, and the mag wheels on the Goat are nice. I don’t agree on the Goat being a better quality bike- and the choice of what eBike to get is extremely personal to your liking and use case. As far as I can see Wired is using more name brand components than Goat, but I’m not going to come to conclusions of which is the better bike until I personally test them both. Again two completely different bikes..

    • @erides
      @erides 7 місяців тому +1

      @@electrifiedlatina6871 Yes, people need to make their own mind on which bike they need for their own needs. I said Goat bikes are better buy and better bikes if someone wants more speed and more range as they can easy to add extra battery. I think its b/s to buy wired bike because it looks more like bike vs goat bikes look more like motor bike to avoid cops because cops will see when you fly 35 - 40mph regardless on which bike. I will have to make another video to make clear message as people are choosing ebikes in wrong way. Wired bikes sounds like fun and fast but those bikes does not need that speed in off road and even 1000w more are pretty good in most conditions. I will try to contact wired to see if they want to send me loaner bike to test it out in the same conditions.
