    I think I am obsessed with all of your videos. I started watching them right after I had my twins (4 months ago) and I've completely transformed my mind and body through mindfulness and diet change. People have no idea how I look and feel so good with twin babies and a kindergartener.

    I️ just came across your channel and I’m addicted. I️ became vegetarian a year ago, after my dad died of a heart attack in his 50’s. It sparked my decision to eat healthier and be more conscientious of what I️ eat; it also inspired me to do a career change and I’m applying to med school this year. These videos reinforce both decisions. I’m so happy to see physicians making educational videos like this. The insight is much appreciated! Thank you.

    Try cutting your strawberries by plucking off the leaves with your finger and only getting the white part and conserving all the red parts ... u can do this but circling the knife around the top like a cone ... you save like 25 percent of the strawberry by cutting it properly ...

      I ise a straw put the straw through the bottom of your strawberry and push the grren leaves through the top .. Try it I was like wow that's cool doing it my first time 😝

      Saber J Lyte - No, it is called «Flash freezing», they freeze the food very quickly, in a special freezer meant for that. They have such freezers e.g on factory trawlers that fishes huge amounts of fish, the fish is pulled up, gutted, filleted and flash frozen, so it is almost better than what is called «fresh fish»... Well, so I remember, from way before I went plant based... ☺️

      Fresh is ALWAYS better. As fresh as possible. Store brought isn’t as fresh as perhaps going to a pick me farm or having it delivered from grower

I recently purchased organifi green, red and protein which will be used for weight loss. As a coffee drinker I am very interested in two of the four Sigmatic products that you have discussed in this video. My question is can these two products coexist or more importantly should they.

    I love this video. Just a tip to save time - strawberry greens are edible and good for you, from what I've read. I just toss the whole berry into the blender. Can't taste the greens once they're blended in!

    "It's less about restricting and more about adding good things to your diet." This is so key! It's all about mindset and if you believe you are depriving yourself you're going to want to binge at some point. But when you keep adding good foods, it's all about abundance and health mindset. Loved this video!

    I’ve been practicing food combining after stumbling across your videos and I’ve been doing great so far! My habits are gradually becoming healthier. Since I want to stay hydrated I just have to be sure that I’m drinking it on an empty stomach, which keeps me from eating irresponsibly. I just prepped the quinoa tabouli for lunch tomorrow. I haven’t tried it yet but I added a small amount of finely diced red onion and mixed in some minced fresh garlic and a splash of balsamic in with my lemon/olive oil dressing. Sooooo looking forward to it. 🤤😋 And yes, it did take forever to chop, especially the parsley. 😅

    that's what Japanese doctors said on TV about that we should let our stomach rest for 8 hours which means not eating anything for those hours to have better digestion, and we could simply do that while sleeping. and I totally agree with it. thank you

    I love Four Sigmatic, I've been drinking the coffee mix for the last 2 years. I'm 37 and I've been an ER RN for 15 years. Throughout the years I have always gone back and fourth between energy drinks and coffee & tea. 2 month ago I started drinking the Matcha mix, blended with 1 cup of frozen blueberries & water. Within 1 week I was completely off of coffee & energy drinks. Then 1 month ago During a re-order, I bought the Viking cup of armor blend for my husband, and I decided to toss a serving into my regular blueberry drink. Omg the mental clarity & sustained energy I had was incredible. I have since gotten a majority of my co-workers & husband hooked on this smoothie. It's amazing. I'm honestly addicted.

      KM! They do! I love the coffee, but for a 4 cup of coffee and 2 energy drink a shift girl like me, the matcha mix & Viking armor knocked it out of the park! I made this drink for my heavily coffee/energy drink addicted coworkers & they too have been converted. It's pricey but work it. Plus I only need 1 drink to get me through the day, Were I was drinking coffee or tea at home, then a usually a triple espresso on the drive to work, and 2 sugar free Red Bull's a shift. So actually I'm saving money! My husband was like "hey babe, you really gave up Starbucks?!!" Lol

    Dr. Vand cooks like I do - very little! I do intermittent fasting so like to have really good meal for dinner. I'm vegan, dairy free, sugar free so she's talking my language. Love lentils and found some really good Indian soup mixes with all the yummy spices & organic! only requires boiling water so I'm good. I know mushrooms are super healthy but so difficult to eat them all the time so may try the Four Sigmatic.

    Hi Mona this the first time I’m watching your video and I’m glad I came across it. I have weight issue and I really want to lose weight around the mid section. In the video you had put something into the thermos and I couldn’t quite get what it was or were could I get to buy it. It was in a jar and stated it was good to take in the mornings.

    I’ve watched research where they checked difference between water and coconut water and there was no difference for body🤷🏻‍♀️ I love to do green juice when I break fast as it doesn’t spike my glucose like everything else- even oatmeal makes me fall asleep 😜

    You blended strawberries, blueberries, spirulina and greens- looking onto your food combining videos spirulina is a protein? and fruit shouldn't be combined with anything- can you confirm this is still something you recommend even after stating the opposite?     The “fake hot coco” sounds fantastic. I totally agree about leaving out dairy. I’m much better since basically quitting dairy near 2 yrs ago. I’ve been using a tea with mushroom in it at night. Really glad you’ve been discussing things with 🍄 mushrooms ( very good for health and I’ve always loved the taste ) Do you ever use honey in anything ? I always keep buckwheat honey at home.     Huge amount of plugging for sigmatic mushrooms. I like most everything but the plugs for sigmatic. I’m sure it’s really healthy I just feel like I’ve been seeing it everywhere. It just seems so wasteful to have so many packets of things.But I am interested in the benefits of mushrooms I will look up some bulk options or if there are some stored in tin or cardboard that I can just scoop out. Little bits of trash everywhere is starting to get on my nerves. I definitely do want to make that salad you made, thanks Doc.

    What would you substitude the oil of the tabooleh with, since oil is empty calories? Or you think it's ok?

      Use low sodium veggie broth. That's what I do or just add an oil free salad dressing.

    Hi Mona, love the video that you posted here I didn’t know that almond needed to be soaked in order to have a better digestion because every time when I eat almonds raw I have a problem it just sits on the top of my stomach when I eat it it’s just doesn’t digest right and my stomachI don’t get a good digestion so I’m going to try soaking it now. Do I soak it in hot water or cold water?

    You can skip blending the liquid with the greens ......if you have a vitamix , it blend EVERYTHING at once with no chunks !

      giving up - you are lucky in the US, you can get a Vitamix down to $300. In Europe it is many times that. I have a similar one called Raw, and I just love it. Having a high speed blender is great, it really makes a huge difference on the result. It is really worth saving for (I am not rich either, I am on a fixed income).     In one of your videos you suggested drinking warm water with, apple cider vinegar, lemon and cayenne pepper first thing in the mornings. So, has that changed? Is cold water the best thing to drink in the mornings?

    Great video! Really enjoy all the information and details. Would love to try all your suggestions. However, I have chronic acid reflux and was told to avoid berries, lemon, coffee, black pepper and anything acidic.     Nona, do you not worry about mixing acidic lemon with sweet fruit banana for easy digestion in this smoothie? I’ve read to not combine sweet fruit with acidic? (Or is the fact that it’s smoothly blended making it easier for digestion)? Great video. Thank you. 👌

    What is your degree in? As a doctor, you should know that the charcoal is like a sponge. It will absorb everything good and bad you have in your colon. All medication or vitamins, it will all be absorbed by charcoal. So all those green smoothie vitamins and minerals that you talk about, it will all come right out of you with charcoal. Next, you talked about diet being not about starvation. Well, that green smoothie is extremely low in calories, even for a person on a weight loss journey. Gosh, it is even too low in calories for a toddler, let alone a grown up woman. Coconut water does not improve hydration unless you are vomiting and having diarrhea and losing electrolytes. What that smoothie will do is spike your blood sugar, and I will be very surprised if you won’t be hangry one or two hours after that smoothie because there will be a crash of your blood glucose level, like it or not.

    Love this video!!!! Are the mushroom packs safe during breastfeeding? And if so, would it reduce milk supply? I’m trying to loose weight postpartum and that’s forever my concern as to shortage in milk supply. Please let me know.

      Don't buy into these products. Most of them don't do anything other than make her money. A drink isn't going to help you lose weight...you have to get active and change your eating habits. Calorie deficit is the only thing that will work, all of these fad diets and products are just marketing gimmicks and things that make you waste your money with no results. Plus she doesn't have that mushroom drink because she likes it or believes in it, she just makes money off of it.

      I've tried the mocha and it is SO good. They are 100% safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is all natural ingredients. I know she is promoting them but take it from someone who does NOT get money from them, these products are awesome. I cant drink coffee so I use the mocha and it has just enough to keep me energized without the jitters.

    Lemon and tomato are acid fruits. I thought combining acid fruits with starches was or for combining? Acids cause starches to not digest and absorb I thought?

    I ran out and got some mushroom hot cacao mix and it wasn’t very sweet. I’m trying to kick processed sugar to the curb, so maybe it’ll taste better to me afterwards then. I can’t wait to try the lemonade though😀
