GM part # 13251447 -- tinyurl.com/Ou...
This part is only sold at GM dealerships.
I walked into the parts department and gave them the part number. They had it in stock.

I just replaced that hose with one from autozone. It looks a little different and I actually thought they gave me the wrong hose. But it bypassed that plastic clip which was failing to make a solid lock on the hose and new pice for the outlet. These cars run very hot so over time that plastic will break down again. I recommend the standard hose that autozone gave me as it went in and seated way better with all the new parts. It’s also noticeable that every other outlet has a clamp that is not made of plastic besides this one. I hope that helps anyone else that attempts this project.
I did exactly as you said I had purchased a 2nd oem part but broke a year later gave up bought a new one hose from a auto store that fit and clamp it down.
What's the part yall order or what kind of hoses did you get from autozone I just went to autozone earlier & they couldn't help me
You need to have someone hold the phone for you champ.
Common problem with the Chevy Cruze and i can't tell you how many times I had coolant problems with it
I saw a video where a guy used a stainless clamp on his upper radiator hose and crushed the hose neck on the radiator. They make pliers for the sprig clamps, use those.
A better replacement is part: Doorman hose 626609 you just take the mettle clip and pop in the new part, clip back in and done. It eliminated that middle part that you have on the original part.
Hi, where did you buy that hose?
@@israelhuerta4564 AutoZone just give them the part number I believe it's around $30
Thanx bro my mechanic must have broken the tip inside. I was wondering why the new piece didn't fit. I got it to work thanks a million.
I just bought that one and it fits perfect. But I lost the metal clip that slides in and out. Will that effect it if I leave it like that without the clip?
@@suckmesideways7321 with high pressure it's going to pop out. Try to buy the clip or return/ replace for guaranteed
Will this cause the car to overheat after a while
Best video on this yet! And there are a few good ones!

What is the hose that's clipping right beneath this hose?

@@chicofinisson5872 Thank you!
if anyone loses the stupid clip, it is part number 55555982
Do we need to drain the coolant first?
No need to drain the coolant. You will get some leakage so try to catch what leaks. Good luck.
Change coolant every 20,000 miles for best cooling results. Replace all PVC an gaskets. Dorman got it all
Did it fix the leak?
Yea. It did, however, I decided to replace the entire water outlet about 3 days later. I didn’t video it, but the job was just as easy.
I had my water outlet replaced, still leaking. I replaced the hose that was causing it to leak, still leaking. The leak is still coming from the U shape clamp. I’m ready to throw the car away! Any ideas?!
@@KLeeP-se1ru same I keep replacing this part once on my own atleast 3 times at a repair shop ($200+ every time) it seems to work fine for like 4 months and then boom same problem and I'm still paying on my lease never again will I buy a chevy 🙄
@@ptsburg33 what's the water outlet?
The reservoir tank?
I have to replace the same part you just filmed and happen to read thru the comments would you recommend I replace anything else along with that hose you replaced in this video?
