Everything is packaged so nicely underneath! The engineering work is top-notch, but that's to be expected when you give Lingenfelter that kind of money for a build.
zomski101 Ya it does suck. I don't even want to count what's in my Turbo Trans Am and I did mostly myself. But...I'll probably make a video on that, haha. Thanks for watching. Alex
As an owner of a relatively low-mile 1000hp+ Supra, I would somewhat disagree. While it does bump the value somewhat, it does not offset the money put into it. As an example, my current Supra has over $40k in it. The car bone stock should sell for about $52k-$55k in todays market. With modifications its mid-$60k to $70k on the best day. You do the math :)
You guys forgetting it was 15 years ago when all of this shit cost way more? Lingenfelter will always be more money for less power. But, you get a warranty and a well tested, engineered product. This was a full motor swap with turbo kit. Pay a shop to do that today and you're still spending north of 20k.
Vau Gr Look, to each their own in this situation. However, there is no debating that 60k could get you in the 4 digit power numbers in a car like this. The LS power plant is one of the best platforms for that reason. They are reliable, reasonably priced, and the aftermarket for them is far superior to any other platform on the market. Lets not forget about the wonderful 30+% markup that these 2 shops placed on this guys ticket. There are a number of things that these shops could have done differently to improve this cars numbers.
Jakme Auff basic stuff, a good intake(not just hose and filter), a good full exhaust, and a tune. If the funds allow do some suspension work to make the car stick to the ground better.
In it's defense, we're comparing 2002 upgrades to 2017 upgrades. 550 was impressive for its day when the most powerful production cars were mid 600's. now 550 is nothing special.
Great to see someone who actually works on cars doing these reviews. I abhor the amount of nonsense I hear nowadays from these guys, but you sure do know your stuff. Keep it up.
This is a proper street build. Clean, reliable, driveable, liveable and comfortable. Runs on pump gas, starts up every time, no stupid idle, no stupid exhaust, very little lag, and makes lots of power on very low boost. This is what a proper build is all about. And no doubt all of the parts have warranty on them as well.
LegitStreetCars I dont like your use of the Lords name as profanity. You need to grow up. Our company was looking at offering you a job regarding doing a run down on a Saleen S7 we had built. Compensation for you was going to be VERY good. You just lost it because of your lack of control over your mouth.
surf403 damn man cut the guy a break. He probably didn't mean it offensively. He just meant it like "holy shit that was fast". He seems very professional. Give him the job!
A late comment, but what fun! The build was expensive for the second owner. He/she had piece of mind since both shops stand by their work. This car will serve its third owner very well for a weekend car that will put many smiles on their face. Always enjoy your Vlogs!
Dude, just found your channel. Frankly, its better than 99% of the car shows on television; and you're a great host. Love it that you tell us your speeds in this vid, but I also like the other more "mechanical" vids you've done. Subscribed. PS, I-74 isnt too far from you. The Peoria-Champaign leg is great for making, um, "performance test runs". Especially on weekend mornings. Or so I've been told.
You guys forgetting it was 15 years ago when all of this shit cost way more? Lingenfelter will always be more money for less power. But, you get a warranty and a well tested, engineered product. This was a full motor swap with twin turbo kit. Pay a shop to do that today and you're still spending north of 20k.
Charles Thomson, You can't come here talking intelligently. You will get trolled by the ignorant. Obviously Lingenfelter built the package to be capable of making a lot more power. Most people here are looking at the numbers and not the package because they don't understand. Of course more power could be had for less. This package was engineered to produce a smooth and reliable amount of tractable horsepower, with out wasting the components that weren't altered. The installation is also top notch. The problem you are going to have is from the people looking to argue rather than learn. The picture of the Lingenfelter receipt is pretty clear and straight forward. The short block was very reasonably priced. As were all other components aside form the twin turbo set up. The twin turbo set up includes all the plumbing, wiring, inter-coolers (intake), exhaust, hardware, brackets, exhaust manifolds, tuning and custom fabrication or labor that may be applied. All specific the this car as desired by the customer. The price may seem high, however any one with any experience doing this sort of work already knows the labor is extensive and time consuming. This is not singular purpose drag car. It is a driver. The Later drive-train modifications may have justified the increased output. Which did not require many alterations to the Lingenfelter package.
Yep, I picked this car up last fall. It is a super clean, well built ride. This exact drivetrain (fully built RPM Level X 4L65, Level IV Diff with a Quaife Differential, Quicktime NHRA-approved blowshield, Precision converter, upgraded driveshaft, upgraded axles, C6 Z06 pinion support, upgraded dampers, bushings, etc) is being used in cars running 8's at 160mph. The Vengeance build sheet on this car is 4 pages long. lol Engine is fully built and should be good to 1000hp. Sure the tune is conservative, though with some minor tweaks to the tune, I fully expect this car to run high 9's in its current configuration. With an upgraded LPE turbo/manifold setup (which I can get, BTW, talked to LPE already), I fully expect low 9's, possibly high 8's in the 1/4. It is a total sleeper and for the price I paid for it, it can't be beat. Believe me, this car as built was a STEAL. Maybe a lot of money for the previous owner but if you keep your eyes open, there are other great deals out there. Some of you guys are totally missing the point. This car was built for a previous owner by two of the best shops in the country, one of which is at Manufacturer level, that being LPE. Definitely not hacked together. Sure, there are quicker cars out there but this had so much inherent potential I couldn't pass it up. Keyboard warriors may disagree but it is a sweet car.
I appreciate your reply and the video you made, very nicely done! It's pretty cool to have a real review video of the car sitting in my garage. I wasn't even looking to buy a car when I saw this offered on the corvette forum. I also paid a few bucks less than the recent sale price you mentioned in your review. When I was making the decision, I couldn't look at the car in person, so I had a friend in the Chicago area who really knows cars test drive it for me and that sealed the deal. When it was delivered, it had only 9,715 miles on it. Such a deal! I can understand why you considered buying it. I also had my own reservations about the auto, but when I drove it, all my concerns vanished because when you smack the throttle down on this car, it takes the heck off! It is a freakin' blast! I leaned into it for literally a "one-thousand-one" count on the highway at about 45mph and the car was at 70 in the blink of an eye. Talk about passing power! I really haven't had a lot of time to drive the car since I got it due to work requirements. Now I just need to get the car up on my lift, give it a thorough detailing all over, tweak a couple small things to my liking and have some fun with it. Keep up the good work with your videos!
Huge fan of anything twin turbo, makes more sense for a daily driven monster. Low revs, quick spool instant torque can't go wrong. Wonder how my S55 would feel with twin turbos instead of supercharger.
Gotta remember that this car had money spent on it OVER 10 YEARS AGO! I'm sure there are many refinements in both components and a greater range of bolt on performance parts (less custom, therefor cheaper parts, same or better performance, quicker and easier to install so therefor less labor)
Ripped the heck off......16k for a 4l65, beefed up diff it didn't need and 3.42's it already had. And 16k for tires shocks map and a $500 alky kit My friends Z06 went 10.33 on 150 shot of nitrous...still 6 speed!
dano tell that to a formula 1 car or a crotch rocket. My Yamaha R6R has 40lbs of torque but a 110hp and believe me it's not slow but you do got to get it wound up to feel any power.
For your channel last year and still enjoy it today. Watching this early vid is cool to see how much better you’ve gotten. It this video it looks like you’re unsure of what to do with your hands. Lol
That twin turbo kit looks ahead of its time fits very nice. I'm sure the power was kept down because the first gen blocks can't handle much more power than that, even with forged internals.
Subbed. Intelligent and thoughtful approach to the video and solid explanations for everything. Kudos to researching the resale value and explaining that extreme mods to a car are really going to destroy resale value.
it's a really clean install, which is worth something. also you could probably get it cheaper now, in 2002 this was very uncommon and probably a lot more expensive
whoever buys this car used gets an awesome deal .the guy who paid for the build eats all the depreciation , you drive it for X amount of years and sell it for close to or the same price. All the stuff is done by big name shops so it should be reliable, especially with the new block with forged internals. 30K for a 10sec car that looks stock and has pristine interior and d3cent amenities is a good deal no matter how you look at it. This is not the same as a home garage built car that may or may not have a bunch of bugs. Super fast with very low mileage. You wanna go fast in a nice car cheap and not have it blow up or break down all the time, this seems like an awesome deal.
Now what would Callaway charge??? I have driven a couple of them including at 1994 ZR1 Twin Turbo monster that I took over 200 mph on I-280 near Palo Alto. Dynoed over 650HP
You hit on a good point and with old muscle cars to off roaders its a great idea to buy one built then with the cash you save you can make it your own and sell off the changed parts along the way.
Checking out some of the earlier content on your channel. Dude this thing is ridiculous! $30K for all this?! Someone scored. I spent $10K on parts alone on a stage 3 6MT allroad build some years back. All the labor was me-$0. It was fast as my 993 and with AWD. Ultimate snow car. I think I got $7K for it 5yrs later? You have to enter a project and not expect to recoup costs period.
I've never heard of anyone dumb enough to swap their 6sp manual into an automatic on a sports/muscle car, let alone paying over $15k to get the job done.
It's obviously cheaper to build a car on your own and I am sure it would be way cheaper. Thing is some people dont want to deal with all the reading and all the trouble. To them it's easier to write a check to a known company for them to do all the work and that's why they charge what they do. There is a lot of research that needs to be done for a proper build and that's what this Z06 is. I would not spend that kind of money either but I am sure I wouldn't mind doind so if I too had that kind of money. If I had money for a 2013-14 Shelby GT500 for example, I would send the car to Heffner and ask them to replace the turbos with massive Twin Turbos. I would probably still buy a set of wheels and tires, exhaust and other easier mods and install them on my own.
it sold for 30k?!!??! DAMN! thats actually a really good deal for whoever bought that lol... but rip the old owners for spending so much for less than 700 hp lol
$60,000 still seems so much for some hp. Hell, my 800-1000 03 cobra build "only" cost me about 10-13k including the cost of the "roller". I'm waiting for my built trans at $3500, this guy spent more than what I paid on the car and the turbo kit combined. Must be nice lol
Very cool video! This is why I always demod my cars, sell off the mods and put the car back to stock and sell them. I recently bought a fully built 02 WS6 408/4L80e/12 bolt full suspension, nitrous, for the same price as what a bone stock 02 WS6 goes for. This video has me really questioning my recent trade of my Jakes Stage 3 4L80e for the stage 3 Tick built 6 speed complete setup :/
I bought a 2013 mustang gt for 22k and strapped on a Paxton 2200 for 7000 and a set of cat deletes, fed it e85, made 700 rwhp, put some 15 inch race stars on it and went mid 10's at 135.....
Don't get me wrong: Lingenfelter is a boutique shop that does top-notch work. Having said this, those are abysmal power numbers for a $27k upgrade. Embarrassing, seriously. That thing should easily be putting down close to 1000hp reliably for that price, complete with all of the necessary supporting mods.
I like this car personally a lot and I would love to if I had the money to buy this car second hand with that stack of receipts. Its begging to dial up more horsepower but that horsepower it has now is dependable really nice car -wolf in sheep clothing😑 once again my opinion
idk about his info a (5.7 ls6 hmmm u mean a 5.7 ls1 jack bung that the first of the ls style motor) I love the under mounted turbo also there headers where this guy get his info lol but I love it he's not bull ishing
My second hand F1A pro-charger kit was 4300. My forged motor and transmission upgrades was 12700. My tuning software was 400. I make 21 lbs of boost and over 840 RWHP. I do not think paying for the name Lingenfelter is worth it at all. Car is a 2000 C5 base That I bought for 16,200 7 years ago.
i gotta magnum t56 (which truly is an expensive as fuck transmission) that handels 750 and its a manual,, stock 4l80e takes track abuse at 800+ all day long thats crazy that a 60e with comparable handling costs so much
Everything is packaged so nicely underneath! The engineering work is top-notch, but that's to be expected when you give Lingenfelter that kind of money for a build.
Agreed, the car looks legit. I'd for sure buy it. My current project car has been taking way longer than I anticipated
It's a shame mods don't add value to cars. Unless it's a 1000hp supra.
zomski101 Ya it does suck. I don't even want to count what's in my Turbo Trans Am and I did mostly myself. But...I'll probably make a video on that, haha.

The good news is, a C5 is more than capable and easily enhanced. As well as plentiful, which is why the buy in is much less.
Take it to carmax & they'll give you 25k 😂😂
LMAO! Best we can do is 15k$ fucking carmax
Those cast "down pipes" are a work of art, integrated nicely to the vette chassis
You guys forgetting it was 15 years ago when all of this shit cost way more? Lingenfelter will always be more money for less power. But, you get a warranty and a well tested, engineered product. This was a full motor swap with turbo kit. Pay a shop to do that today and you're still spending north of 20k.
This is comical...$60k for under 700 hp. He payed for name not for the power.
Jakme Auff dude it's a c5
Peyton Jackson car was built in 2002...so the price isn't that bad for the time... also with a forged bottom end car is clearly on a conservative tune
Paul Martin dude its a LS
Vau Gr Look, to each their own in this situation. However, there is no debating that 60k could get you in the 4 digit power numbers in a car like this. You would think the exhaust would at least be lined up for 60gs.
agreed, that mismatch looks like dog shit.
take a look under your 16 year old build ducky!!
Lmao right??
Great to see someone who actually works on cars doing these reviews. I abhor the amount of nonsense I hear nowadays from these guys, but you sure do know your stuff. Keep it up.
aiGeis Thanks appreciate that
One of the CLEANEST c5 builds ive seen, very nice and streetable.
Sick! I own. 01' Zo6. Daily driver with 193k 😁 I wouldn't do those kinds of mods. 385hp is enough for me. Great review 💯🔥 🔥
That Chrysler minivan at 11:48 (hysterical laughter) “man that’s crazy”.
Holy crap, that second owner got sent to the cleaners! All that cash for a 4l65e swap? Sheesh
Nate May
Now watch a VW Golf blow it off the road.
Richard Myhan shoot you could buy a golf for the price of the transmission swap
Should have bought a wrecked car for chump change R&R’d the transmission then sold everything else off the junker and get the transmission for free.
Juan Ceasar 🤣🤣🤣
4L65E swaps aren't cheap or easy to do. 4L80E swaps get even more expensive. If you want an auto in a C5 Z06, you have to pay to play.
Someone saw this guy coming and bent him over big time. I did a heads/cam/blower LS3 swap in my C5. 708 RWHP for less than $20K. On pump gas. No alky.
You're a savage for telling us the MPH you hit 😂 I just found your channel today and I love it
Thanks a lot Jack! See you next video.
Alex
LegitStreetCars I dont like your use of the Lords name as profanity. You need to grow up. Our company was looking at offering you a job regarding doing a run down on a Saleen S7 we had built. Compensation for you was going to be VERY good. You just lost it because of your lack of control over your mouth.
surf403 damn man cut the guy a break. He probably didn't mean it offensively. He just meant it like "holy shit that was fast". He seems very professional. Give him the job!
David Alarid I can appreciate your point of view David, but the reason I dont agree is Ive watched other videos where he uses the same language.
surf403 Jesus Christ, stop being so goddamn sensitive!
A late comment, but what fun! The build was expensive for the second owner. He/she had piece of mind since both shops stand by their work. This car will serve its third owner very well for a weekend car that will put many smiles on their face. Always enjoy your Vlogs!
Guy in the minivan @11:45 be like - da fuq!?!?
Dude, just found your channel. Frankly, its better than 99% of the car shows on television; and you're a great host. Love it that you tell us your speeds in this vid, but I also like the other more "mechanical" vids you've done. Subscribed. PS, I-74 isnt too far from you. The Peoria-Champaign leg is great for making, um, "performance test runs". Especially on weekend mornings. Or so I've been told.
Lingenfelter = Overpriced and underpowered
Ok, blow your money like an idiot
HP for the cost? You don't have common sense,
You guys forgetting it was 15 years ago when all of this shit cost way more? Lingenfelter will always be more money for less power. But, you get a warranty and a well tested, engineered product. This was a full motor swap with twin turbo kit. Pay a shop to do that today and you're still spending north of 20k.
You'll never win an argument that way bud, sorry you got ripped off!
The Vengeance build sheet on this car is 4 pages long. lol
Engine is fully built and should be good to 1000hp.
You picked up a great car. I absolutely loved doing the review and considered buying it myself. Good luck with the new toy and congrats.
I appreciate your reply and the video you made, very nicely done!
It's pretty cool to have a real review video of the car sitting in my garage.
I wasn't even looking to buy a car when I saw this offered on the corvette forum.

Huge fan of anything twin turbo, makes more sense for a daily driven monster. Low revs, quick spool instant torque can't go wrong. Wonder how my S55 would feel with twin turbos instead of supercharger.
Looks like a really nice and smooth build, I like that they kept everything looking stock on the outside and inside.
I like your videos they seem authentic, witch is refreshing.
Ben Meadows Thanks Ben, appreciate that.
Alex
Your content quality is phenomenal. Really enjoy the videos. Deserve all the subs and a lot more. Cheers
Thanks! Means a lot.
Alex
Gotta remember that this car had money spent on it OVER 10 YEARS AGO!
I'm sure there are many refinements in both components and a greater range of bolt on performance parts (less custom, therefor cheaper parts, same or better performance, quicker and easier to install so therefor less labor)
Keep up the consistency and quality want you're gonna be big man! I can already tell from the views you're getting lately
carloselrey36 Thanks that means the world to me.
Alex
11:46 that mini van tried so hard😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I bought a 2016 ZO6 3LZ, cammed, twin turbos, meth, e85, and more. I spent total buying the car and modding it for 94k. I have over 1400 rwhp.
rich resciniti what about transmission?
Jack My Dmax
It's going to level 10 transmission in winter I did minor things to it for now. Rear and suspension are done too.
Good job on putting all the details and prices in the video 👌 great video
I had a 1999 Lingenfelter Z28. Its was badass! They definitely know what they're doing there.
good video, good content, well executed and the best part, you seem to reply to most of the comments.
a UA-camr that cares its kinda rare
Skidz1818 Thanks a lot. I definitely try to respond as much as possible. See you next video.
Alex
just subbed
Yessssssssss another upload
Ripped the heck off......16k for a 4l65, beefed up diff it didn't need and 3.42's it already had. And 16k for tires shocks map and a $500 alky kit My friends Z06 went 10.33 on 150 shot of nitrous...still 6 speed!
Great car, great mods. But $60k in upgrades? Generally speaking tho, companies like Lingenfelter and Hennessy are for smucks.
Blind Guy McSqueezy
Hennessy is smuck? Come get some of my Escalade Hennessy power. Who do you prefer for power my friend?
In my opinion worst tranny gm ever made. That explains needing to upgrade it!
Blind Guy McSqueezy lol don't you dare compare lingenfelter to Hennessy, LPE has done a lot for the tuner world
a ligen modified car generally nets big dollas, this wasn't represented properly when sold through craigslist.
well he is a blind guy after all, probably thinks the same of Callaway and Dinan
Very professional video. 10/10 will be subscribing.
Thanks Christopher!
Alex
Really glad I found this channel. Keep up the great content!
Andrew Haim Thanks Andrew, appreciate that.
Alex
Pretty wild to see this video. I just bought this car. Still only has 13k miles.
M30b35, 800$. Getrag 260, 700$. M106 rods and pistons, $500. Home made turbo set up on megasquirt, $2400. 480hp. Rusty 528e was only $1200.
Good channel, Keep it up man
DeathComposor Thanks!
HP is nice but TORQUE is king! nice ride though
dano tell that to a formula 1 car or a crotch rocket.
Lol
Haha, I was pretty nervous back then.
I never subscribe to people...but you earned it
Fiveoh Four Thanks man, means a lot
That twin turbo kit looks ahead of its time fits very nice. I'm sure the power was kept down because the first gen blocks can't handle much more power than that, even with forged internals.
William Mahoney stock block handles around 900whp before blowing up
1st video of yours that I've seen...just subbed!!! Good stuff!!!
MATT CORY Thanks Matt
Awesome video you rock I want that Vette !
This is by far my favorite channel for car reviews!! Please keep them coming!!
Thanks Esco. More to come for sure.

Great video man, your channel is much better than superficial ones like streetspeed717 who rely on clickbait rather than good content
bolawdean Thanks a lot, appreciate that.
Alex
bolawdean thats why he has more subscribers 🤦🏽♂️
8secz28 -_- mindless ones lol
Clickbait717 is absolute trash.
bolawdean Wow you sound like a hater big time bro! Mad at how successful Mike is? 😂😂😂
That's awesome! Plenty of power
Now what would Callaway charge??? I have driven a couple of them including at 1994 ZR1 Twin Turbo monster that I took over 200 mph on I-280 near Palo Alto. Dynoed over 650HP

Great videos by the way. Just Sub'd today. Your content is great!
Ya definitely is, thanks so much!
Great stuff. Love your vids.
Just started watching this channel man and you have great videos had to hit that subscribe button
Thanks Salvador!
Car looks great 👍
You hit on a good point and with old muscle cars to off roaders its a great idea to buy one built then with the cash you save you can make it your own and sell off the changed parts along the way.
Perfect car for plowing snow in the winter...
Am I the only one who noticed the music at 1:00 is the same as Matt Maran Motoring (aka Subaruwrxfan)
This would be my dream zo6 since I'm in a wheelchair and can't drive a stick due to hand controls.
Love the sleeper look
Sleeper? It's a vette...
David S What I meant by that is that it looks like a stock c5
I've never heard of anyone dumb enough to swap their 6sp manual into an automatic on a sports/muscle car, let alone paying over $15k to get the job done.
Yea stupid
another quality video! keep it up
Mike Batman Thanks Mike
Good thing you were in Mexico when you did those highway pulls ;) lol. Enjoy the channel. Very informative.
Great video, keep it up.
Tyson Hall Thanks Tyson
Great video man, hopefully one day I'll get a deal on a built Vette like this.
awesome vid im now subscribed 😎
Thanks Gerald.
Alex
Definitely gunna blow up. And i agree with the doug comment 🤣
Good video man , good information, very interesting....!!!
Awesome video
Thanks Rex.
Alex
Great video. I would love to drive that thing. Looks scary :)
Love the stealth of this. Quiet, like stock. Unlike everyone these days, swapping exhaust out and making their cars loud, all bark, no bite.
The whole point of using the small Garrett twin turbos was the lack of lag. They spool up quick. LPE is the best.
it sold for 30k?!!??! DAMN! thats actually a really good deal for whoever bought that lol... but rip the old owners for spending so much for less than 700 hp lol
Kev I agree, but it was 640 rwhp and they spent 16k on the transmission conversion. Still much more money than I have to spend on go fast parts!
Great video! Subscribed.
Thanks Brent!
Alex
$60,000 still seems so much for some hp. Hell, my 800-1000 03 cobra build "only" cost me about 10-13k including the cost of the "roller". I'm waiting for my built trans at $3500, this guy spent more than what I paid on the car and the turbo kit combined. Must be nice lol
Dude was ripped hard tho. You can get twin 7675 precision turbos for about 900 something a piece, entire turbo kit would be like 3-5k.
16 years and still going strong I say he got his money worth
factory about 400 hp. so he gained 150 hp for 60k. sounds like a robbery
The early LPE twin turbo cars had cast manifolds. Rare.
I dig it, automatic, quite, smooth n fast. Id like it as a daily
Would make a killer daily if you dont have snow like Chicago has, haha
without checking..wasnt the 405 upgrade done in 03?
No it was 2002.
Alex
Don't get me wrong: Lingenfelter is a boutique shop that does top-notch work. Having said this, those are abysmal power numbers for a $27k upgrade. Embarrassing, seriously. That thing should easily be putting down close to 1000hp reliably for that price, complete with all of the necessary supporting mods.
I like this car personally a lot and I would love to if I had the money to buy this car second hand with that stack of receipts. Its begging to dial up more horsepower but that horsepower it has now is dependable really nice car -wolf in sheep clothing😑 once again my opinion
Like your channel
I would have mentioned something about the cage, lack of 5 point harness and better seats for a car that fast.
The name plate Z06 was first interedioced as a C2 in 1963.
At 10:39 look at how far he pulls away from the car behind him
Wait, they didnt touch the bottom end? Clearly the car is fast as shit, low 10s are no joke , but for that much money it should be fully built
HipHop Opotamus It has a forged bottom end
Did you see the Buick Grand National pass him?
Wait what?? No but that would be awesome.
Alex
Love sleepers like this. Keep 'em coming.
idk about his info a (5.7 ls6 hmmm u mean a 5.7 ls1 jack bung that the first of the ls style motor) I love the under mounted turbo also there headers where this guy get his info lol but I love it he's not bull ishing
Base c5 had ls1, zo6 had ls6. Same motor with better cams and heads, but just as an lsa is a supercharged ls3, an ls6 is a souped up ls1.
I hope you guys can understand that a Honda with the k20 engine can do 450hp a 4k turbo set up. 2-3k for miscellaneous iteams pretty consistent
16k for a 4l65e...? You got to be kidding me.
I have never heard of good things happening when people put a lot of power in front of 4l60s. Maybe a 4l80 just won't fit in a vette?
robert booth I'm sure someone can figure a way to fit an 80 but it would be a ton of work. This level 10 is legit though. Thanks for watching.
Alex
LegitStreetCars well it better be legit for 16k! Lol. thanks for the reply and keep up the good work brother 👍🏻
I still can't imagine how someone could spent 16k for TRANSMISSION?!
Gear star 4l65 handling 650 HP&ft costs 4.5k.. It's just blowing my mind :D
robert booth Fair amount of that is labor due to the factory transmission being in the rear. Its just overpriced.
i gotta magnum t56 (which truly is an expensive as fuck transmission) that handels 750 and its a manual,, stock 4l80e takes track abuse at 800+ all day long thats crazy that a 60e with comparable handling costs so much
still stock brakes and wheel +tires?
