That is the best in-flight video ever made. Whomever created it is a genius! Beautiful flight video too. I’m am so excited to see your Bora Bora videos, can’t wait. Have a wonderful time! Aloha!
Dear friend: thank you for such a nice video offered on the Air Tahiti Nui trip. Excelent as always! I can't wait to see the full Polynesian one. Congratulations for the good taste of the images and the music. Marcelo. Argentina
I had the pleasure to fly with Air Tahiti Nui in 2018, on my way to Papeete / Bora Bora. One of the best flying experiences in my life, and I fly a lot. I recommend TN 100%.
Another excellent video and a great way to end by teasing us to stay tuned! Can’t wait for all what is to come from all of your experiences in Bora Bora… cheers!
I've never seen a flight trip report in a presentation like this. The background audio you choose for certain parts of the video such as the first 3 minutes of the introduction, 25:44 and 33:57 really makes it feel more like a movie. Just fantastic. And such a beautiful aircraft the 787 Dreamliner is. That livery Air Tahiti has is nothing short of gorgeous and so is the interior cabin. Thank you for this, as I definitely want to try Air Tahiti Nut. 🔥
I flew with Air Tahiti Nui in May this year and thoroughly enjoyed the flight. The interior makes you feel like you're in Tahiti the moment you board. Would fly them again in a heartbeat, especially as the destination is Tahiti.
As I am a huge fan of planes and flying, these flight reports are my fav vids on this channel. Love that 787. Beautiful livery on a wonderful aircraft. The Dreamliner has the most beautiful, graceful wings in the biz, IMO.
Good morning from the east coast of the USA. I, too, am a white knuckle flyer. Doesn't matter if I am over land or not. Every time you show takeoff, I picture myself gripping the armrests, and my eyes closed tight. Not that that's gonna help.🤭 Beautiful scenery at the end. Can't wait to see the full video.
at 29:58 it is clear that FAA is -3H comparing to LAX, but cannot get why it shows current time in FAA as 9.04 landing in 1h40 and time of arrival is 21.12
Great report. I was a guest on ATN back in 2014. The route was AKL-PPT-LAX on the A340-300. Service was amazing and I loved the cabin. Even though it was just coach the comfort was great.
My wife and I flew on ATN, for the very first time, in May 2023. Our flight was from LAX to PPT (Papeete). However, we were in Economy Class. The seats were uncomfortable, leg room was very tight, the IFE selection was the worst we have ever encountered, and the interactive screen was just as bad. Food was par for EC seats. All in all, nothing to write home about. We will say this though, the crew was exceptional from start to landing. Our next flight on ATN will most likely be in Business Class.
Thank you for this trip and the upcoming ones. For these, I really envy you. This is my dream vacation spot, and I know I will never get there. But at least I can see the videos. Hopefully u had a great time there. I am sure it's like on another planet.
It’s been too long since I’ve watched one of your splendid videos. Superb as usual. The meals looked especially delightful. Thank you as always for taking your time to share your travels around the World with us!❤
My dream vacation! I am a very nervous flyer so much I don't fly but if I could take a trip to Tahiti business class on Air Tahiti Nui I'll happily handle my anxiety somehow just for the chance of a lifetime trip! Video is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel almost like you are there. Everything in this video is a /like
Always enjoy and look forward to your travel videos. Informative, non intrusive music throughout, excellent video quality and always tasteful and classy. I got tired of the talking heads and much prefer soft music and informative text format. Thanks for all you do.
Servus.
Thank you for making the uncomfortable over-water trip so that everyone can enjoy Tahiti through your lens. I live in Hawai'i so we are very accustomed to flying over the ocean. In fact, I prefer flying over the ocean rather than land. Have a wonderful vacation.
Great video! I’m a very nervous flyer myself, so I can empathize with what you go through. I flew Air Tahiti Nui back in 2007 between Los Angeles and Tahiti and it was a very good experience even for flying in coach all that distance. I absolutely love Tahiti, and I really want to go back, but I have become such a nervous flyer as I’ve gotten older, that I don’t know if my nerves could handle a very long flight.
Awesome video. The information you've provided is absolutely on point. The before flight video was very helpful and funny. Looks comfortable and accommodating. I am looking forward to my upcoming flight ✈️.
I’d like to commend you on the outstanding quality of the videos you provide. First class. Tahiti has long been on my bucket list and your video has cemented my intention to travel there. I look forward to your reviews of the resorts in Bora Bora.
This was wonderful. Though there is, one issue I find, with that 2-2-2 layout; If you are in a window seat and the passenger on the aisle is sleeping... You would have to disturb them to get up and put for anything like the bathroom. I would find that incredibly inconvenient for both passengers involved. Other than that, everything looked beautiful!! Thank you for sharing.
Really? That's a non issue. One is not usually travelling by themselves while going to Tahiti, and you would know the person next to you, and expect that would happen.
I like your flight videos. I don't fly any longer because it makes me too nervous and especially over water. You are so very brave and bold to fly anyway in spite of being a nervous flyer. Tahiti is beautiful. prettier than Hawaii.
You have become a true cinematographer, dear LTE!! (Only drawback for me, personally, was the washroom and the water splashed everywhere ... pet peeve of mine! Why can't people clean up after themselves? Maybe think of the next person to have to use it! Grrr ... rrr !! I'll get off of my soapbox now ... lol! )
Thank you Luxury Travel Expert for your beautiful video .Nice in flight video wow that guy heats up the water Lol .While you Luxury Expert heats up my phonè screen.Yes like ah um was saying Love your videos
Thank you for sharing your flight down to another beautiful paradise island nation. You made me laugh talking about the two engines operation with ETOPS certification! Yes, I use to feel a little nervous every time I would fly to Hawaii on my former 777-200s. But those GE engines are huge and so powerful even though it took me a few trips over the pacific to have some comfortable level of traveling over the Pacific Ocean. I still miss the 747-400s with flying over the Pacific. At least there were four engines and the same for the older DC-10s that my former airline flew to there to Hawaii. Yes, two engines flying those distances are interesting to say the least!!!!
I see the air stairs for the front of the aircraft and the walk up the jet ramp was in the back of the aircraft. That made me remember flying to Kona, Hawaii many times with our 777 and having the air stairs there at door 1L and at the back of the aircraft at door 4L. Many islands don't have the modern jet ramps.
Great flight, finally second leg of Fifth Freedom Flight Air Tahiti Nui between LA and French Polynesia. Thanks to the ETOPS founder who make some of flight above big oceans like this by using twin engine plane is possible.
My wife and I flew on Air Tahiti Nui this past May 2023. It was a connecting flight from American Airlines out of Boston. LAX is enormous and the walk from the domestic terminal to Bradley Terminal is long, and long. So be prepared for about a 20 to 25 minute walk unless you walk at a fast pace. There are only two options for flights to PPT (Papeete, Tahiti) - Air Tahiti Nui and Air France. After watching several UA-cam videos on both, we'll continue flying with ATN. Maybe upgrade to Premium next time.
12:43 and the reason for that is because the winds usually come from the west and it's safer to land and takeoff with frontal winds instead of tailwinds
Been watching your channel and the awesome content on it for a while…had NO idea you were a nervous flyer! I suffer from this as well, and your videos have literally helped me deal with it better. Oh, the irony! 😆 Before watching your vids, I thought my max duration of a flight that I could handle was about 3.5hrs or so. But now I see that it’s about the experience, including the plane specs, flight options, routing, airport facts, and other details. I think a “long haul” is in my future and you will have a lot to do with that. Many thanks!
Great video as always. I'm afraid I'd be so distracted by the images on that flight safety video that I'd fail to read the text! lol. Interesting that you're a nervous flyer, tho I do sympathise. My own personal nervousness was put to bed (mostly) by being lucky enough to be in the cockpit (prior to 9/11) during an emergency landing into Manchester. Observing the professionalism of the pilots answered a lot of the 'fears' I had. Now it's just a single G&T on my journey! lol. As always, looking forward to the resort report.
Great video again. Thank you for showing by far the best safety instruction video ever seen or done. There is always a room for creativity to convey the message. They did it by the books of top notch communication knowledge, because it differs to their advantage from all other safety videos, and raises even the attention of experience traveller like You, conveying the message as well. 👍 Other airlines should also find the way to do the same in their own personal way. Which is linked to their country of origin or corporate culture too. Waiting for your next videos to come 🌿✌️
Great vlog! Looks like that airline is a 5 Star airline (at least Business Class). One thing that I did not like was that they had no Jetway when you landed. Thanks for an informative vlog.
I just watched your Video and enjoyed as always but I can’t wait for the Trip Report of Bor Bora and your encounter with the whales. I’d loved to swim with whales. It must be so beautiful. So thanks for the teaser😉.
Very informative. The food looked mouth watering. I think you should have had a couple of cocktails to soothe your nerves and watched a couple of movies too. I rarely fly and only a couple of times briefly over the ocean and when I fly it's always in economy since that's all I can afford because I also have to plan on rental car and hotel and other expenses. I much prefer to drive even if it takes many hours to get to my destination.
I have flown with my family in 2011 with Air Tahiti Nui. It was a long flight over the ocean around 8 hours. There is a different name for the flights inside of French Polynesia called Air Tahiti where you go to Mo'orea and Bora Bora Islands. Beautiful place!!
Great review. I’ll be taking this flight in April as a newlywed. So looking forward to it all! Interesting that you do airline and airplane reviews since you say you’re a nervous flyer! I’m sorry about that! You do good work though! Carry on PS I love the decor, the turquoise color is very tropical and restful. And the food looked oks awesome and beautifully presented!
You had a beautiful trip to the Pacific islands of Tahiti! I loved the detail of Air Tahiti Nui-787. As a Pacific Islander myself, your video captured the true beauty and peacefulness of island beauty. Nice job.
I've never seen a before-flight directional video like that before, it's hilarious and also brilliant - I'm glad you shared that with us!
The Most Innovative Safety Message I Ever Seen in flight🙂- Usually it will be boring & routine things - Very Creative Idea by Air Tahiti Nui 😊
That is the best in-flight video ever made. Whomever created it is a genius! Beautiful flight video too. I’m am so excited to see your Bora Bora videos, can’t wait. Have a wonderful time! Aloha!
Wow. The shot at the end with the whales and the music almost had me in tears. Well done sir, cracking vid as always,🤙
Dear friend: thank you for such a nice video offered on the Air Tahiti Nui trip. Excelent as always! I can't wait to see the full Polynesian one. Congratulations for the good taste of the images and the music. Marcelo. Argentina
Thank you for your honesty of being a nervous flyer, this is refreshing, I think you're very brave🌸
I too haven't seen a safety video in this mode. I really like it.
Thank you for your videos on Tahiti. I have flown on Air Tahiti Nui twice and it was a great experience both times.
What a brilliant fligth report!!. And thank you for allways showing the whole takeoff, becouse to me that is where the magic beginns !!
I've never seen a flight trip report in a presentation like this. Would fly them again in a heartbeat, especially as the destination is Tahiti.
One of the nicer safety video I've seen after Singapore Airlines.
Taking this flight in December 2024. Can't wait! Hawaiian born and will visit many of my brothers and sisters islands.
Bula.. hitting Fiji in December myself
As I am a huge fan of planes and flying, these flight reports are my fav vids on this channel. Love that 787. Beautiful livery on a wonderful aircraft. The Dreamliner has the most beautiful, graceful wings in the biz, IMO.

Beautiful scenery at the end. Can't wait to see the full video.
That's about the best safety video I've ever seen!
French Polynesia Islands are absolutely gorgeous, especially Tahiti. I can't wait for your next video!
Thanks for flight! You are the best!
We have been there twice and both trips the flight was wonderful ….. want to go again
at 29:58 it is clear that FAA is -3H comparing to LAX, but cannot get why it shows current time in FAA as 9.04 landing in 1h40 and time of arrival is 21.12
Gorgeous views at the very end. Looking to stay at the Intercontinental myself later next year.
I enjoy your videos. The flight to Tahiti was one of the most interesting videos. I've seen today.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Go Air Tahiti!!! Go! May - 2024. 8 nights.
I love Saturdays due to yours and Sam Chui's videos landing =)
This is why i recommend this channel. Simplicity at its best. Thank u.
I am so exited for the upcoming videos!! This place is heaven on earth!!! I will be there hopefully soon🤩🤩
Thank you for this trip and the upcoming ones. For these, I really envy you. This is my dream vacation spot, and I know I will never get there. But at least I can see the videos. Hopefully u had a great time there. I am sure it's like on another planet.
Glad you are heading for The Brando, its on my future tick box.
Great video, I flew on an Air Tahiti A-340 about 16 years ago from LAX - PPT-AKL. Great airline!
The Brando is next week. I've been waiting since the Namibia series. Can't wait!
Merci beaucoup pour ce voyage !!!Comme d'habitude votre vidéo fait rêver !!! J'attends avec impatience la suite...👍❤🙋♀️
Cannot wait for the hotel(s) and excited that The Brando is one of them. Cheers.
It’s been too long since I’ve watched one of your splendid videos. Superb as usual.
The meals looked especially delightful. Thank you as always for taking your time to share your travels around the World with us!❤
Poerava Business class is the only way to go! We loved it and will do it again! Wake up in Tahiti ..ready to go! The Dreamliner is amazing!

Nice flight, @34:00 Scenery and Background music like "James Bond Movie" style, overall Awesome 👍
Welcome to Los Angeles, my home city! I hope you enjoyed your time here and your trip to Tahiti! 😃💖

Really? That's a non issue. One is not usually travelling by themselves while going to Tahiti, and you would know the person next to you, and expect that would happen.
I think those seats layout were intended for couples traveling on vacation.
Correct! Etihad solved this issue by opposite seatings in Business Class.
I like your flight videos. I don't fly any longer because it makes me too nervous and especially over water. You are so very brave and bold to fly anyway in spite of being a nervous flyer. Tahiti is beautiful. prettier than Hawaii.

Fabulous!
My favourite livery is Air Jamaica. Even they are out of business...

Awesome.
8:07 No safety video beats Lionel Sccaloni's; Walter Samuel and Pablo Aimar giving a technical talk before a match 😬😮💨🙌
Best Safety Video ! ... at least they came up with something funny
Oh my God 😮 ❤
“Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the sky on laughter silvered wings….”
What a coincidence that Sam Chui just uploaded an Air Tahiti Nui video this month too :D
