You are a star mate 👌 looking to fix it soon not in this cold weather lol
An observation there - if you allow no slack for the cable to move when the wheels are turned from lock to lock, you may metal-fatigue the wires and be back to square one. Just have someone turn the steering from lock to lock whilst you watch the turret tops, and make sure there is no pinching or pulling.
Hope that saves you another job!
Nice one pal can't beat a self repair, chuffed for ya- I am so close to purchasing an L322 V8 myself just need to convince the Wife
Cheers mate get one bought
Another quality review, I was waiting for this but glad that it's a simple common sense fix, I'd have done the same as you good on you man.

Hi - thanks for this, an easy fix for my lad to do !!
Nicely done
thanks, will remember this for the inevitable :D
Nice one. Given that you do a lot of the repairs and maintenance yourself, ever thought of setting up a Patreon page, which could help fund future projects, such as servicing, code-reading, etc? Just a thought!
Great video mate, just had this fault pop up on my 2010 Vogue. Quick question, did you have disconnect the battery to do this repair? Many thanks :D
