  • In this installment of RECOILtv's Training Tune Ups, we join the Captain of Team GLOCK, Shane Coley, on the range. Today, we're going to bring you the Bill Drill. Shane will teach you a very simple, yet supremely effective drill at controlling recoil, staying on target, and speeding yourself up, without wildly erratic shot placement. Being able to control your shot placement while simultaneously increasing your rate of fire is something to build on. By speeding yourself up, but staying in control the entire time, we create what Shane calls 'the new normal' for yourself. Building off of this new normal is how you continue to improve your skills. Check Shane out to see how it's done! RECOILtv is now supported on all of your favorite platforms! Search for the RECOILtv app in the App Store, Play Store, and on Amazon Fire, Apple, and Roku TV!

I swear 7rds on video looks so far away compared to actually being on the range.

I think the same thing everytime I watch a video. I was watching pewview shoot at 30, and before he said how far it was, I thought he was at at least 60, maybe even 75 🤣

Dude, that was SLOW and the accuracy sucked.

Why is he afraid to show his recoil control? It always cut to the behind the shooter shot when he’s firing. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Seriously? The cadence and hits tell you all you need to know.

Irrelevant. The hits are what matter.

Afraid? They change the cameral angle so dipsh_ts like you can see the hits, because if they didn't, you'd be complaining about that, too.

Thirty seconds of shooting and ninety seconds of him rapid firing his mouth. I guess if one has had a Red Bull and has never fired a gun, the video might be useful.

I really didn’t see the point in this drill considering anyone with a pistol and basic fundamental knows this.

Yea. Lol. A sub 2 seconds teaches you nothing

This drill teaches you plenty if you know what to look for.

Standardized drills are standardized for a reason. It's a standard at which you meason yourself against. Get some training.
