Cody jumped to different factions. He was in bullet club wasn't he? Didn't he and Randy start something? He collected his little cred as he went along. So did Benjamin. He should've came back to WWE and broke off solo when HB didn't work. He'd be where Cody is ijs maybe an AEW stint and right back to WWE like Cody like aJ. He could be that big imo he has the look
Shelton was massively talented, arguably the absolute best in ring, ever. But his lack of mic skills held him back, as well as him being too nice of a guy to politic himself up the card. I agree, he should have been a main eventer, and I honestly think had Brock not cut his first run so short, Shelton likely would have been a main eventer. Him and Brock were good friends, and if Brock had stayed longer and gained more favor, they definitely would have been working together at the top of the card. Likely with Heyman being a mouthpiece for both, or switching to just Shelton over time. There’s a parallel universe somewhere with Shelton as a multi time WWE champ.

Race and culture are not the same thing. Just because a person is born with a certain skin color does not automatically mean thst they must behave a certain way. For example, I am black. I don't like hip hop and I do like classical and country music. If someone said " hey, you're black, let me introduce you to our new black writer Michael, he's black, therefore he understands you and your culture better than me" it would be completely wrong, as I may have more in common with the other writer. We can be two completely different kinds of people, and yes, two completely different cultures. Saying "yeah you might have the same skin color but be different people, but you must have the same culture, right!?", is still assuming that you're character itself must be the same at some level just because your skin color is "the same" (let alone the fact that what is defined as "black" is irrational as there are many degrees of brown, and it was a white supremacist definition to assume that if you have a drop of "black" in you, then you're just "black", even if the color is nowhere near the "same". Then, based off of THIS, now there's an expectation that your behavior, your "culture" is supposed to be the "same") Just because my skin color is a certain way doesn't mean that I'm "supposed" to be a certain way, and saying that the black writer and myself share a "culture" is to actually be guilty of making that assumption. Which brings me to MVP. I have found that he has many takes that I find cringe. Believe it or not, my skin color is the same as his. However, he does not speak for me, believe it or not. What he has to say, I don't find to be "educating" the world over what I would have to say, as if we would somehow have the same views as to what it means to be black. Which brings me to the Hurt Business and BLM.... You do understand that having half the black roster in a single group is a type of segregation, right? It's just like CT universities having racial dormrooms and calling them "safe spaces" is all that was needed for these white liberals to inadvertently bring back racial segregation in general and intriduce it to the north inparticular. You can't fight racism with racism, even if you're black. Aa for BLM, I have found that the general public is not as misinformed about what it was/is as much as it's advocates would like. It pretty much WAS what people thought it was, and whenever spoken about by athletes in the contexts of sports and entertainment, it was/is always either cringe or supercringe, especially when a young emotional black athlete takes the stage to talk about it. It did not help the perception of black people at all, just take a look at the Tyron Woodley press conference debacle; are we going to say "yeah but he's not a good example because he doesn't know what BLM is"? Is it possible for a white person to know what BLM is more than Tyron Woodley? If so, is it "bad" to let a white person talk about BLM instead of Woodley? If these questions are difficult to answer then we are falling into the trap of assuming that if you're black, then you "understand" certain things better than white people, just because of being black and for no other reason, which assumes that you ARE a certain way just for being black.......which is racism. You can't fight racism with racism, it's still irrational. If Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric and Shelton all went out there as heels and "educated" white people on BLM, then it would have made black people look a certain way as a whole. If they went out there as faces and did the same thing, then they would have been "right" as faces, which means that other black stars like Keith, Bianca, Omos, Jade, ect, would have looked bad by not joining their group. On top of all of that, why is it that if you're black (or in a black group) that you're character or storyline is expected by certain observers to center around the fact that you're black, or that you have to talk about being black, or that you being black should be a "gimmick"? Again, that's assuming that if you're black then you should be a certain way. It's mental segregation. Having superhero characters that happen to be black or stables that are majority black without the fact that they're black being a central part of their character or "gimmick" does much more for the mental state of their viewers than all of the inadvertent racial segregation storylines and promos ever will. I think WWE was right for leaving politics (racial or otherwise) out of it.

Triple H doesn't feel like incentivizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion for better storylines of Black males on the main roster. Endeavor/TKO needs to fix that before they lose a group of Black males who do watch wrestling.
@@TJ-zs3vx Black person here, agree 100%. I'm really big on Oba Femi in NXT when he has more experience and called up to the main roster, but it may just be because he reminds me so much of Ahmed Johnson - just with more comprehensible promos and less reports of him being a jerk or of hurting others or himself. Trick Williams has potential as a total package, but other than that, there aren't too many black wrestlers in WWE I'm interested in seeing at the top of the card. Bianca Belair was nice at the top for a while, but she feels stale to me at this point. I love R-Truth to death, but any hope of him winning a top title was snuffed out when "Lil Jimmy" went from a sarcastic pissed-off quote to being a full-out comedy character in 2011. WWE doesn't have a diversity problem - they have a ton of interesting Samoans, Tongans, Africans, Latinos y Latinas, Japanese, Brits, Irish, Aussies, Kiwis, continental Europeans, amongst other things - but with Big E now retired, Lashley pushing 50, and Kofimania being a flash in the pan that's barely remembered - not because Kofi is black, but because Kofi is booked as an eternal midcarder and generally booked as a tag wrestler, with Kofimania only even happening as a result of happenstance - it's not that WWE or TKO are _refusing_ to push black wrestlers. Rather, most of the black wrestlers in WWE aren't interesting enough to push hard. Maybe when they finally make Montez Ford a solo wrestler people will shut up for a little while, at least.
@@Unregistered.HyperCam.2 I'm sorry, but Summerslam is still not sold out. So what does that mean for Cody Rhodes, Damien Priest, Seth Rollins, and Logan Paul? Maybe they come off as dull, too.
@@humble_8574 Great. I couldn't care less if it was sold out or not, and I don't care if the others come across as dull or not to someone. I'm talking about black wrestlers and diversity, in a comment thread about black wrestlers and diversity, on a video about black people and diversity in pro wrestling. The non-black wrestlers are completely irrelevant, unless you're looking at it from a racist perspective, which isn't the greatest perspective to look at it from. All it means is that you probably failed your high school Economics class.
Yea credit to shawn michaels for that hes running nxt and pushing those talents not triple h and vince did a better job at pushing diverse talents on the main shows.
The thing about "black" wrestlers is like we imagine them to look like Big E and Bobby Lashley but they dont or they are big for nothing. Kofi is not 🚫 black. He would claim Jamaican first. Kross is weird. Hes married to a yt so he doesnt rep the culture. Bobbys coming back kayfabe with a yt manager. El Campion of Judgement day is claiming the streets. Smh man they need someone to portray A REAL street persona. Its very easy. It would work in wrestling bc it hasnt been done. Name one wrestler besides JTG that was lit on the mic and you believed when he wrestled he was a STREET brawler. Im about to create some characters in a book they can go off of. This is ridiculous representation of "blacks" in wrestling. Native Americans get no play either. Just as their is a bloodline they could EASILY be a parallel to that with tribes or groups of indians.
Besides the horribly ignorant and, frankly, xenophobic and racist comments like Kofi not being black and that he'd claim Jamaican first - when he was billed as Jamaican for three of his *eighteen years* in the company, being billed from Ghana, West Africa and having no Jamaican accent for the other *fifteen years* of his tenure(lets not ignoring categorizing Samoans and Tongans "Native Americans" instead of Pacific Islanders, and relating the Bloodline to a parallel of "tribes or groups of Indians"), there is/was: - One Man Gang. Name says it all. - JYD; his own demons were his downfall, not being booked like garbage immediately. He was booked like garbage when he was so hopped up that he was absolutely unreliable. - Faarooq in the OG WWF version of Nation of Domination, where it was a street gang, not a Black Panther militant group. - Ahmed Johnson to an extent, when you actually had transcripts of his promos. - Mark Henry, pretty much any time he _wasn't_ Sexual Chocolate, but especially during his World's Strongest Man & Hall of Pain runs. - Booker T, whose gimmick for the majority of his career was "kid from the streets goes to prison, becomes a pro wrestler and uses that to make sure he's staying out of trouble" - R-Truth has been a pure comedy character in WWE since mid-late 2011, but his skill on he mic is absolutely undisputed as one of the best in the company, even without the comedy schtick. Check him out as Ron "The Truth" Killings in early TNA if you want to force him into a box of "black wrestler claiming the streets." (Which is a horribly narrow-minded view of black people in and of itself; black person here that grew up in the ghetto, and "repping the streets" IRL is the quickest way to get yourself put in a cage or a box. Not something you want to actively promote or encourage as a positive when you're a publicly traded company that caters to ages 5 to 105.) - You had Hit Row with this to a lesser extent, though they got dropped faster than hot coals when they hit the main roster. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott was the only one in the group with charisma whatsoever, so it's not surprising that he, as Swerve Strickland, is now AEW champion - not because WWE wouldn't make him into a black champion, but because Hit Row was god awful and would've been cement shoes for Swerve. This is all off the top of my head, btw. If I actually thought, or looked stuff up, I'd probably have a list of upper-midcarders and main eventers in WWF/E that were black, had "street" gimmicks, and "kept it real" in character that would be way too long to fit a UA-cam comment's max length. tl;dr: You're being ignorant as all hell. Stop whiffing your farts and actually use your brain.

No Black talent has been booked for SummerSlam, so it seems Triple H isn't escaping those accusations of racism.
@@TJ-zs3vx "BLACK"
So forced diversity, huh?
Not good for anything.
But, i will say kofi Kingston deserve to be top guy. Get him far away from new day garbo
Thumbs up
That's okay I ignored it as well except for their mostly peaceful protests of course!
Like Jan 6 protest right
Did you watch the video? Or reacting to the title?
@@knowsbetter764🤡
@@knowsbetter764 Well no because that was a peaceful protest unlike BLM that deleted 34 people over a criminal you bot.
@@knowsbetter764 here we go. Social Justice Warrior has entered the chat.

EC3 is the most under used wrestler ever he's a top funny as fuk heel in my eyes we lived you in tna EC3 wwe tried to tarnish u
The dude is complete ass airhead goofy corny as hell
I really have no idea why you think going "but what about so-and-so" was some type of gotcha or like I gave half a crap. It comes across as extremely immature and ignorant. All it means is that you probably failed your high school Economics class.
@@Unregistered.HyperCam.2 Well, go outside and touch some grass.

Has anybody been watching NXT must be blind triple h is doing a great job better than Vince
Besides the horribly ignorant and, frankly, xenophobic and racist comments like Kofi not being black and that he'd claim Jamaican first - when he was billed as Jamaican for three of his *eighteen years* in the company, being billed from Ghana, West Africa and having no Jamaican accent for the other *fifteen years* of his tenure(lets not ignoring categorizing Samoans and Tongans "Native Americans" instead of Pacific Islanders, and relating the Bloodline to a parallel of "tribes or groups of Indians"), there is/was:
- One Man Gang.
- Booker T, whose gimmick for the majority of his career was "kid from the streets goes to prison, becomes a pro wrestler and uses that to make sure he's staying out of trouble"
- R-Truth has been a pure comedy character in WWE since mid-late 2011, but his skill on he mic is absolutely undisputed as one of the best in the company, even without the comedy schtick. Not something you want to actively promote or encourage as a positive when you're a publicly traded company that caters to ages 5 to 105.)
- You had Hit Row with this to a lesser extent, though they got dropped faster than hot coals when they hit the main roster.
Bianca and jade just lost the tag titles lol … they’ve been booked well … Bianca has been booked unbelievably well during her career… nxt champion was trick for a long time … wtf are you people talking about ?! … the women have main evented wrestlemania lol … F off with your race bait bs … we see through that

Watch NJPW or NOAH or almost Japanese promotion - or one of the British or European promotions or one of the thousands of indies across the world that present pro wrestling as little more than a legitimate sport. You'll be much happier than watching something you DON'T like and whining about it in UA-cam comments.
