How could Vince stiff his dad for $740k and his dad does nothing. That makes zero sense and seems unlikely. Especially considering Stu was always in contact with WWF and appears on their PPVs etc etc. Hardly the behaviour of someone screwed out of $740k
The story I heard is that Stu agreed not to da any other promoting but his son was promoting matches after the deal so Vince and the lawyers used that as a pretext supposedly.
Vince agreed to pay that if Stu agreed not to run Stampede as competition in those towns. That was literally the biggest point of the agreement. Stu agreed, because he was retired. Literally, the easiest money he would ever get. But Bruce went behind his back, revived Stampede and ran it against Vince, because he was desperate for money. So, Vince was able to renege on the deal.
Basically the deal got called off due to (I think) Bruce Hart promoting some local matches. After this they tried to bring back stampede wrestling but they had lost a lot of talent and the bloom was off the rose.

OK, what kind of deal did Stu Hart broker if WWF was able to say "we are gonna pay you 750K for this" and they end up stiffing him and not giving him a penny? There has to be more to that...why didnt Stu sue? Seems easy enough, they said they'd pay X amount, they've paid none. Or did Stu get taken for a ride by trusting people? They said they didnt because Bret would have lost his new job....Bret just said he didnt really wanna wrestle anymore and I think you'd figure out you werent getting paid pretty quick, so makes no sense. Togan Kid, NOT "Kid Tonga" which was "Haku" for a minute.
really smart guy... what an amazing story teller. funny as hell.
How many minutes before Goldberg gets mentioned? Whats the over under y'all 😂?
I’m 4:18 in and am surprised I haven’t heard his name already
I’m surprised he didn’t tie in his early WWF run with Goldberg.
It's Bill Goldberg
How many minutes before someone mentions Bret mentioning Goldberg.... gay
@brendanmackinnon3315 I SWEAR 3-4min is what I assumed his name would be mentioned. Surprised it didn't happen.
He actually could wrestle unlike a lot of shite back then
The last minute of the video is about the action figure
My Mount Evermore is Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Cold Stone and Hollywood Hogan.
I love Cold Stone Austin Steve.
@@ZenEcho1982Mike Tyson loves Cold Stone 😂
@@rs8247*Thtone Cold Thteve Authtin
That list is bad. Bret Hart in the same name as two big draws😂
@@Jcrash71 I think every mount Rushmore should have a real worker on there. Not just big draws.
I wanna know if that Bob Orton LJN was meant to be Cowboy Bret Hart! Imagine if it came w an LJN horse?! Lol
A Canadian Cowboy?
@@BUPMY1yup believe it or not, Canada does have real Cowboys. More then a lot of US states
@@rs8247 Is there some differences between a US cowboy vs a Canadian cowboy?
Bret Hart started in WWF Full-Time 11/2/1984 11/9/1997
Thank you troy
That shows what Vince is really like. He didn't even acknowledge Bret after his tryout.
Probably was ribbing him
he had a 3 minute match to do and somehow managed to fuck it up by slamming the guy too close to Dynamite in the corner .. then went back and slammed the guy again to try to fix it , and after the second slam the guy was STILL to close .. then Dynamite just had to drop straight down for the headbutt in the corner , instead of flying across the ring into it , which would have been a big deal .. this is exactly what Bret said happened and why Vince probably didnt say shit .. if i brought a guy in for a tryout that had been working for 6 years already , and teamed him up with his friend he'd already worked with several times over the years , and he ruined an easy finish by putting a guy in the wrong spot TWO FUCKING TIMES STRAIGHT , id ignore him also .. because if i had to acknowledge him , id be forced to say "how do you mess up a finish that was that simple ?"
@@70qq he was injured and Vince is not nice.
😮 he didn’t mention Goldberg
Bret looks great! ❤❤❤❤
Man Bret and his family must have been too nice or too loyal or something because they seem to have been screwed around a lot in life. If you hear Bret tell stories he's getting screwed every time he turns around
I wonder whether any wrestlers read the comment sections of these kind of videos Lol.
San Diego 🤙
"But I don't want to be a cowboy"
:Seinfeld/ Hart
He’s starting to look like Stu now
Bret's mic style would have worked really well with a cowboy gimmick.
That Bret Hart hasbro action figure is bomb yo
Listening to HBK's shoot paints a very real picture on how articulate Bret is, was and ever will be. It was painful watching HBK's shoot. He stammered and mispoke often. Painful!!
Brett has an entire conversation with himself....about himself......😂😂😂😂
They could afford this huge set yet still make the man hold a mic 😂
Whoever was the inheritance of stew probably started that stew never got paid 😂
I do think Bret belongs on the Mt.Rushmore of Best Professional Wrestlers of All Time.. If you look at his In Ring Ability he's in the Top 5 Easily..
18:51
Exploiting Bret. Give him a beer 🍺 lol
Bret hart has had a tough life 😂
Find it hard to believe that Stu never got paid and no one knew about it
I still have my WWF action figures in a drawer, including the Bret Hart one of course!
They tell you 6 months after surgery but you should always take 2 more months. It takes a long time to heal inside, just saying
Why wouldn’t Stu Hart sue WWE why would he continue to work work with WWE or his family might be a little bit of BS
I’m
But now, Bret's figure is worth a ton and Shiek's you can find in bins at any flea market.
shoutout brantford thanks hitman!!
