Just discovered you and been binge watching your videos, only to realize you haven't posted a video in 9 months. I hope you are doing well. Come back!!
I'm currently hung up on Klein J2159CRTP high leverage hybrid side cutting pliers that I really like and like you , I have several pairs of Klein's including my 1st pair I bought in Oct of 1971 and they still cut like butter ... Thx
Great video. Try to see if you can find Channellock 349 Wiremaster linemans. Old timers i come acrosa that have them swear by them. Not sure why channellock stopped making them.
I have a vintage set of 6” USA made UTICA linesman pliers that were my main pliers as a low voltage tech because they were lighter weight than 8” Kleins. I have no idea where I found them but from the markings they were made in the 60’s. I’m out of the trades now but I keep them cleaned and use them every chance I get at the workbench and around the house.
Just feel into the real world tool reviews rabbit hole . Glad I did opened my eyes and got me excited about cheap old tools that just work ! Looks like I’m late to the party and I hope you are about to keep putting videos out I think they have a valuable space on UA-cam . As an industrial electrician I’ve been on the hunt for classic linesman , side cutter and needle nose pliers!
Man, it’s almost been a year since you posted or replied to any of the recent comments. I hope you and your family is doing well. Really missed your content and your honesty/opinion about tools. Hope you come back soon bro!
I picked up my 4th set of 9” Kleins at Home Depot since it was discounted. Might just leave it in the box and break it out some day for a special occasion
8" is the perfect size. Picked up a pair of 8" knipex combination pliers simply for the versatility. Doing apartment maintenance i gotta be light and slim, and 9" is just a little too much overkill
Klein lineman's just feel better in hand, are heavier and seem more substantial. However, Klein seems to be stuck in the past with their handles. Modern electrical tools should be VDE rated/shockproof to 1000volts.
Everybody has an insulated and non-insulated version. I carry both in the vehicle, and definitely don’t want to use the bulky insulated pliers if I’m working on dead wires
Hey buddy? Just checking in on you. Obviously miss your vids but most of all want to make sure you’re ok. Would love if you responded to let us know your ok
Knipex makes a great set as well, but I find their plier handles less comfortable than the American manufacturers like Klein, Channellock and Snap-on. I wish they used the rough grippy finish handles on every pair of their pliers.
I have the Knipex with the ‘comfort grip’ I think is what they call it. A little bit like what you would see with VDE as far as size wise. Everyone is different but it fits my hand perfect and has good grip and cushion
Electrician by trade and shocker I like the Klein linesman Best. Own/tried a pair of snap-on, but they’re a little bulky and heavy compared to the Klein. Also the head on the snap-on’s just aren’t “right” compared to the Klein’s.
hope your doing well my friend! I hope to see a new video soon and pray your son is doing well.
Miss the videos man hope you doing great brother! Hope to see new videos soon! God bless!
Hope you and the fam are well brother! Hope life lets you make some more videos one of these days!

Come back!!
Because of how much you were happy with the Snap on 7” pliers. I got a set & love them. I find myself holding them even when I don’t need them 😆

Where have you been RWTR?
He’s MIA
Let's gooooo! I'd like to get one more pair of lineman pliers from my tool bag. Smaller pair, I think. 😉
I like that you cleaned up the Quinn pliers
Hello. I hope you are doing well.
The new made in USA Milwaukee lineman pliers are great. I don’t have the strongest hands but with them, everything I cut is like butter.
I have a pair too and I like them. But I feel like the cutting on them is a bit lacking. Maybe they need to work on some QC issues.
Where you been man?
Your back! I missed your videos lol
Let us know your still alive!!!
Thanks for the review, good presentation
Milwaukee came out with made in USA hand tools including linemans, they look nice
That finish is insane

That’s exactly how I feel about it. I do apartment maintenance too!
Reaches for a bottle opener with a pile of Kleins on the bench. 😂
That’s like their penultimate use case!
The ghost of toilage, has returned to taunt us.
👻🔧
Quinn's because, I'm broke & Irish.
And the warranty, kicks ass. 🍀🛠🍀
Were you at Lineman? We need updates.
Can you help me look for Klein and Sons 6 inches pliers?

@@jackof1The insulated klein lineman's pliers only come in an 8" version. They need to expand this line to all of their lineman's.
No they make a full size insulated as well. I just picked one up on clearance at home depot.
What about Knipex lineman pliers
?
That 6” pair is a keeper. Knipex sells 6” combination pliers, but they’re not lineman’s. They’re much more narrow.
cool Set of Lineman

What kind of beer is that?

Now it's time to collect Knipex- hate to say it but it cuts 30/40 percent better.
Where are you man?
RIP
wassap wit the schedule delay
Где Knipex????
