I will never understand why they didn’t make more videos, they were obviously more than capable of doing so, if they would’ve had more videos it would have been a better representation of the Danzig era in modern times, just like it was 15 years ago every kid who looks up the misfits for the first time is always going to see Dig Up Her Bones or Scream, which are great songs but they can’t get that first nostalgia of how great the Danzig era was upon first glimpse, they had a number of great songs they could’ve made promo videos for just like this but performing
From my knowledge they planned on doing videos not just for Braineaters but also London Dungeon, Skulls, and one for Night of the Living Dead (which you can find stills of- it’s in black and white and they’re in a graveyard)
They started in ‘77 and broke up in ‘83. Videos weren’t super common for punk or metal band- Metallica started in ‘82, but didn’t make a video until ‘89. That said, people have indeed discovered the original Misfits! The reunited Danzig lineup sells out 20,000 seat arenas, while Graves unfortunately is reduced to playing to a couple hundred in a good night.
Great parenting! Carving pumpkins is just the dress rehearsal for unorthodox brain surgery. I've always thought this could be a children's song in the vein of "Great Green Globs of Greasy, Grimy Gopher Guts..."
I first saw it on the first live bootleg VHS I bought around 1989 or 1990, it had 2 shows and the braineaters video at the end, all 3rd or 4th generation copy shit quality, but back then, that shit really was rare, especially since the internet didn't existed yet (as we know it).
@@JukeBoxDestroyer yeah true, he may have been an official musician in Samhain and Danzig but I’m sure he was involved in some capacity he was involved greatly in the world of the Misfits. That aside it’s a shame that this is one of the few music videos from the Danzig era and there wasn’t another video done with any of the members of the Misfits nor their endeavors until Mother 1988 and Dig Up Her Bones 1997
Wow- the cleanest copy of this I've ever seen!
i said the same thing when I found it from another youtuber
Fuck me tooo.. Looks awesome
It’s awesome but why would you to have it nice it’s the misfits for godsake
Same here.....many many many moons ago, I mailed away for a copy and it looked like crap.
@@Selzor Dude all the copies before this were so bad you couldn't even tell what was happening. That's not "punk", it's just shitty.

they broke up...
They did, but they were never released!.
Imagine how big they could’ve gotten.

just some regular guys sitting around a table having a nice meal together
Love me a wholesome family dinner scene
I can’t think of another band that became such a huge band and brand that most people/fans don’t even know the bands material. Interesting situation
great song to vent to
My kids like when I play this for them while there carving pumpkins during Halloween 🎃

We got old and our kids grew up bold. Thanks to misfits.
Can’t believe I’ve never seen this, cool as fuck
Same. They played it at riot fest last night as they did all of Walk Among Us and it sounded even better.
Wow, I've never seen this in such clear quality. You can actually tell who's who now.
00:34 Doyle before he goes vegan😂
Yes😂😂😂
Notice nobody is actually eating.
literalmente esto es lo que hacen los alumnos que se sientan hasta atras del salon
Definitely the best copy I've seen. Thanks for the upload!
That made me so happy!
It’s such a damn shame they never did more music videos and together.
Thanks for posting this. Didn't even know that they made a video until yesterday.

They shoulda done more videos
There are some good fan made videos on here if you look for them.
@@mkproductions2.042 I think they mean official ones
Undeniable
This video is really in retrospect when you remember that Doyle is Vegan.
I think when this was made, Doyle was a quarterback in High School
@@JukeBoxDestroyer Cool.

no, but Robo is the chef.
Oí Oí Oí Oí Oí Oí Oi
Danzig is barely visible because he's so short and black hair covering his face.
Is Eerie von in the video
probably not, he was only their roadie and photographer during the Misfits era. He might be the one operating the video cam.

The one song that has a video we have seen happens to be the dumbest song they ever made.
and the shortest (smh)
Had to make a video for one of their worst songs. Should have been Vampira or Astro Zombies
