I have no idea how any person could actually hate this scent. It’s a beautiful smell. Absolutely beautiful smell. I bought it about a week and a half ago and just love wearing it. Wore it to the office and immediately started getting compliments like crazy. Sweet, smoky, musky, spicy. All of these describe the smell very well. It’s definitely not a casual cologne though. This is for when you’re wearing a dress shirt and tie. A full suit. This is not hoodie and sweats appropriate.
Love this fragrance. So unpredictable and I can't imagine this fragrance being easily cloned, which makes it unique and creative to me. This fragrance is so multidimensional, which make it interesting and never boring. Unlike Aventus, there is only one Layton Exclusif!

In my top 3 of my favorite brand. Love this scent! Not a huge fan of Layton but something about the Exclusif that really resonates with me. Just can’t go wrong with PDM!!
I’ve had Exclusif for about a year now and absolutely love it. I was thinking about purchasing Layton as well. After watching this review I’ll just stick with Exclusif and sample Layton. Thanks!

LE is a compliment beast. If you’ve got the confidence, this shit SLAYS. This is the proverbial instance of knowing how to wear a fragrance so it doesn’t wear you.

Troy will totally agree with you . I love Layton Exclusif is one of my favorites the original Layton for me doesn't have great performance.
What do think will the next Exclusif.
I’m sure they won’t quit esp from the Pegasus Exclusif success! Could be a spring summer one! Galloway? IDK. Also post 2016 Layton I heard sucks in performance.

I actually traded LE because I felt it was less usable than Layton (which I also have). I just was not reaching for LE. I'm surprised you didn't mention the animalic note...I believe from the castorium.
He did did you not hear the part where he says the oud comes in. Do you know what oud is that is the animalic note
I already had Layton. How much similar is LE to Layton? I am torn between LE and Pegasus E. Which one you like better? I am looking for a nice Oud fragrance to add to my collection. Thank you for this review! 😊
I think I definitively answered that here brother, plus your possible question about oud. Its all in this review :)
I took a sample of Layton from Nordstrom along with a strip of LE. I happened to go to my uncles house that day and he had and old bottle of oud cologne. I layered Layton with the Oud and it smelled almost exactly like LE.
Pegasus Exclusive isn’t as complex as LE but the dry down is sooo much better/versatile than LE.
@@TroyD247Mall To give more of a background for my question. I have Layton and I have samples of Pegasus, Pegasus Exclusif. I watched this review 4 times already and I also enjoyed your review on Pegasus Exclusif too (it was the first video I watched from your channel, and I enjoyed it so much that afterwards decided to sub). However, I don't feel like I am getting answers to my questions.
1) How much are they similar? I know you said you let go of Layton because you prefer LE, but I was expecting some sort of estimation for example 50%, 60% etc. Because I need to decide if its worthy enough to own both fragrances. I don't want to wear 1 and think of the other.
2) I am looking for Oud fragrance. Interm of scent, which DNA (Layton or pegasus) the Oud works better with (you prefer LE or PE)? To me, I like PE a lot (9/10 for me) than the OG Pegasus. It totally blew me away at first sniff. I just wonder Could the Oud/overall scent in Layton Ex even be better than PE?

1) They're not similar. 2) Oud is very subjective man because oud comes in different blends and there are ouds from different countries that smell pretty different. I actually hate mixing in the convo of oud with many of the mainstream niche because really those aren't the best representations of oud. That's why i said with LE although there's oud its not supposed to be in the convo of an oud scent.
LE is the manliest of PDM. It’s literally Layton with oud. Intoxication

You answered my question. A lot of fragrances like Layton are too sweet and not masculine at all. This sweet craze is out of hand.
IMO there are two scents in Exclusif that are fighting to be the strongest and it doesn’t work. There is a filth and a sweetness at war and it’s so disturbing. There are way better ones out there where the scents are better integrated. I see what they are trying to do but those two scents meet in the middle as opposed to developing at different times.
That was my initial impression but it grew on me and now i love it. Zero complaints. Wanna get it off your hands?
