Have Layton, Pegasus and Greenley are on the way! I sampled Pegasus and was absolutely blown away by the unique metallic almond notes, and Greenley is a very unique freshie to add to the collection
My first PdM purchase was Perseus. But the first one I owned was Greenley when my friend let go of it and gave it me. My latest one now is Oajan which I’ve been wearing for the colder days which are fast approaching here in the UK. Looking forward to get me a Carlisle and maybe Haltane. I also have a dupe of Layton which is really spot on. Next summer I’m def getting Percival. Might even get a Delina. I’m so invested in this house 😂
Percival is amazing. Is VERY reminiscent of Fierce. Fierce is what I wore on my first date with my (now) wife and then of course at our wedding. Percival is a more well put together, longer lasting version.
@@cuchanu better to have a few very high quality fragrances than plenty of lower quality ones. Fragrances like Percival are easily better (in 99% of cases) than their cheaper alternatives even if there is a similarity in the scent

Herod, Layton, Nisean, Godolphin and Percival are my top 5 in the house. Though I havent tried Carlisle and its on my list. Nisean to me is the most overlooked. Beautiful spice in that scent, definitely recommend it.
I am a huge fan of PdM, Layton is perhaps the only fragrance got a 10/10 from me, Pegasus is very close bevind him. I also own Galloway, it is not a 10 but for a summer scent it is very nice.

@@stayfreshproductions definitely give it another chance on skin, on skin it sweetens up on the dry down and the blend turns sublime on me. Works really well dressed up. Easy going enough for casual or even professional situations too if it’s not oversprayed. My lady LOVES it. Definitely a good representation of “royal essence” imo. Has this old wooden mansion vibe to me for some reason 😆

Well, I think PDM Kalan is quite underrated because this masterpiece fragrance changes with the passage of time. Secondly, It buys me lots of compliments whenever I wear it.

Darley is a personal favorite of mines. To me, it’s what I was expecting Reflection to smell like. You should definitely put your nose on Habdan, and Oajan for the fall/winter.

Bought a bottle couple weeks ago - yeah, performance is not great, BUT today I tested it with Molecule 2 (ambroxan) - oh laawwd, it was way better!! 🤌🏽 Yes, such a decision will cost more, but it's worth it)

Funny you say that about Carlisle. I had it, but gave it away, the dry down wasn't nice. I prefer Mancera Intense Red Tobacco over Carlisle. I know they're not similar but the vibe and the use case is the kind of the same. I also like the original red tobacco more, but that diverges away from Carlisle by a good margin.

2 years ago blind bought Layton after watching the whole world liking it and in the end was kinda disappointed. It is not a bad scent but not something i would spend 200€ on, for me at least. This year i've purchased a discovery set from PDM and really liked Herod and Sedley the most, also Greenlay,Percival and Carlisle but not really at the point to buy a full bottle.. maybe they'll grow on me if I wear them more ,still good scents tho.👍 great house overall
I finally got to test a few PdM fragrances - On UA-cam, I heard so much about Layton and Carlisle. So I went along to test them and my winner was...Percival! Layton was too heavy and sweet, warm for me especially given that we're almost going into summer. Percival was nicely spicey fresh but it had this dignifying weight to it. Makes me want to stand straight up with my spine perfectly upright. I calmed myself over testing more because I'd probably buy it if I found another winner😅 But PdM is so far great!
Watching this, Grace kinda hits home on one thing; it's not just the actual smells and aroma's but the associated memories. Like how the familiarity (and associated good vibes) with Sedley and very much logically Percival helps their scores... And then when Justin compares Greenly to a shampoo, Grace says something like "yeah, that is all I can smell now." Memories are so important.
Nice job, guys ! I recently acquired Layton, Herod, Carlisle. Still need to test Carlisle thoroughly , but Layton and Herod are out of this world. I'm expecting Oajan any day , after lengthy consideration between it and Habdan. While I did have a decant of Layton to start my PdM journey, the other purchases were blind buys, so I'm trying to be very careful to avoid redundancy (before my wallet finally gives out !) But I will definitely be checking out more of the line at Nordstrom as time/ funds allow, in order to limit a potential disappointing blind buy as my journey continues. Thoughts/ comments appreciated.

I purchased Layton last year and wore it and liked it a lot. When my son tried it on, it instantly became his signature scent. Needless to say he used up my entire bottle but it smells so good on him I couldn’t get mad (until I realized it was only a corner in it). That is when I got mad because he had no idea the price point for the bottle. He purchased his own bottle and got a sample of Percival and now that is his favorite. 🤬🤬
Oajan is the one i think is most underrated. I smelled everything they have side by side after spraying each on strips and Oajan is the one that stood out the most (to me of course) and was the one more so than any others i just kept wanting to go back to smell.
I honestly feel the same about greenly. It really does smell like handsoap or some sorta shampoo to me. Maybe I just gotta wear it more, but that's why u sample
Love pdm,initio my favorite house. I just about got them all that is how much I love their fragrance. My wife loves galloway it is her favorite. Herod is so darn good. You have to let carlisle drydown then the magic comes out
I’m trying to pin down that nasty smell you get on your skin that you get from the patchouli. Maybe patchouli is what sours for me too, i have that same experience of spraying something on paper and loving it but it turns sour on my skin

While I did have a decant of Layton to start my PdM journey, the other purchases were blind buys, so I'm trying to be very careful to avoid redundancy (before my wallet finally gives out !) But I will definitely be checking out more of the line at Nordstrom as time/ funds allow, in order to limit a potential disappointing blind buy as my journey continues. Thoughts/ comments appreciated.

I purchased Layton last year and wore it and liked it a lot. When my son tried it on, it instantly became his signature scent. Needless to say he used up my entire bottle but it smells so good on him I couldn’t get mad (until I realized it was only a corner in it). That is when I got mad because he had no idea the price point for the bottle. He purchased his own bottle and got a sample of Percival and now that is his favorite. 🤬🤬

Layton Exclusif smells like a mix of Layton and Kalan.

Oajan is the one i think is most underrated. I smelled everything they have side by side after spraying each on strips and Oajan is the one that stood out the most (to me of course) and was the one more so than any others i just kept wanting to go back to smell.

I honestly feel the same about greenly. It really does smell like handsoap or some sorta shampoo to me. Maybe I just gotta wear it more, but that's why u sample
Love pdm,initio my favorite house. I just about got them all that is how much I love their fragrance. My wife loves galloway it is her favorite. Herod is so darn good. You have to let carlisle drydown then the magic comes out

I’m trying to pin down that nasty smell you get on your skin that you get from the patchouli. Maybe patchouli is what sours for me too, i have that same experience of spraying something on paper and loving it but it turns sour on my skin
Very nice list guys,,I'm glad you start liking carlisle it's honestly a great scent,for so many years couldn't wear sweet fragrances they would turn super sweet on my skin until I found carlisle,man it blends beautifully with almost any sweet scent and it brings it to life I just love it

I can totally relate to your view on Carlisle. I loved the smell of Layton and listened to all of the hype but when I bought it...it just does nothing on my skin. It’s way too expensive to be sad. Lol 😂
