Another great Video, we were over at the end of june for 10 days and noticed some work going on at Elizabeth Castle any ideas what is going on or is it just some restoration work..keep posting we are back again mid september just love the place.
Thank you so much. Yes, Jersey Heritage are currently restoring the Georgian Military Hospital and the Officers' Quarters. The scaffold has been up for some time. It seems that half of St. Helier is covered in scaffold at the moment! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos. There are more coming soon!
Thanks for the Video. Great content. The quality is good, but it could even be better with a lesser wide fov, and if it was at least chest high. The audio is excellent. Is that the Go Pro inbuilt mic , or external one? Btw, I'm still trying to figure out how you are filming at waist height, is that a belt mount or selfie stick?😊 Cheers.👍
Thanks so much for your comments. I have to say it is a bit spooky.......as I had just last night come to the same opinion about the f.o.v. I have already recorded a couple more videos on wide but will definitely narrow the f.o.v. in future, especially when filming in town! The audio on this video is a mixture of the Go Pro inbuilt mic (with my much maligned dead cat) and a voice over recorded later (at home) with a Tonor external mic. This video was recorded without my gimbal on a short selfie stick held just above my knee. I quite like playing with the viewpoint and have recorded most of my town videos from low down. Maybe I'll try filming from higher up in a later video. Anyway, your comments have been really helpful and are much appreciated. Thank you.
@@thereluctantoutdoorsman Thanks for the update. I think there's a less narrow fov option. You're probably using "superview" . Anyway I'm not a GoPro expert but know you can adjust the digital lenses. Just thought I'd mention to assist. Cheers 👍

Hi there, yes......I'll certainly do a walk along Bath Street and post it in the next few months! Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🏻
