The death animation with no knockback isn't a death animation, it's his fall animation which is him falling and then lying on the ground. I guess he kind of said that in the video but the wording was kind of weird.
@SEN LONG ZHAO He literally showed himself playing minecraft... And he's right, the steve death animation isn't in smash, that's just the falldown animation. It works the same way as his techroll animation, just rotating the model over. It's similar to the death animation, but chances are wasn't done intentionally to replicate it.
Seeing steve on a curved stage with his blocks got me curious, what happens when he uses his blocks on a walk off stage that scrolls? Does the area limit for placing his blocks stay the same or change? Think you could place a block near the end and since it scrolls it might get destroyed when it got to the end of the limit.
on movibg stages the block "window" moves with the stage i think if the block moves out of the "window" it just behaves like a normal block but you can't put anything near it since the "window" isn't on the block
I don't know if you've done this already but uhh Given that some stages feature wool, ice or sand instead of dirt, what happens when you've got stage morphs on and you move froma dirt stage to a wool/sand/ice stage? Does your dirt magically convert to wool? Do they both stack? Or does the game simply not allow that to happen?
@1998SIMOMEGA a special effect will trigger if G&W hits an opponent with a full bucket. The effect will cover the opponent with black ink and looks similar to inklings ink effects. So once you switch back to the Pokémon that gif hit with the bucket will return with the ink effect still on them.
I believe the reason for why absorbing Steves lava bucket does almost nothing, is that it has some kind "stun-hitbox" or something like that, the frame before the actual lava hitbox comes out, so maybe Ness absorbs this hit?
(14:00) I think you should do a video on which pokémons, assist trophies and items are unavailable for each stage, and the suggested reason to why it could be so.
Sakurai never said the up smash doesn’t use resources. What he said was that it doesn’t use the pickaxe’s durability. You should really work on your wording.
Fact: Stage builder is incredibly broken this patch. Walking on overlapping shapes, grabbing overlapping shapes, or mining on a curved rotating shape may crash the game. I’ve lost many stages because of this :(
For the healing part with ness, I think it's because steve's down smash is a multi hit, and ness only heal off the first hit of that multi hit, like he does with ryu's shakunetsu, which only heals about 1.5%
Hey, I know you're known for Smash Facts, but I would be interested in your Smash Opinions, PKBeats. If Smash was more like a traditional fighting game in that every character had a song and stage that was theirs, along with a few Rival Themes, which song/stage currently in the game do you think would fit each fighter as being theirs.
I've been thinking for a while now that it's a shame this doesn't apply to Smash Bros. I think every fighter in this game should have their own stage and music theme, with the there'd the additional music tracks and stages as necessary. So far, most fighters have a stage you could call their own, but there's some glaring exceptions. Bowser doesn't have anything befitting him for example...unless you count that one part of the Paper Mario stage. And K. Rool also has to settle with one of the many Jungle Hijinx-themed stages. Speaking of K. Rool and Jungle Hijinx, the DK franchise has really been shafted in Super Smash Bros. Even in Ultimate, in which we finally got another character, 2 stages were gutted with nothing replacing them, and the remaining stages are either samey or freaking 75m (why couldn't we have gotten 25m instead?).
Well, Pkbeats, there is a weird glitch that might not be patched with Steve. It is when using frame by frame in camera mode in a match and a Steve final smash, the camera will glitch after the cut scene and we will be able to see the sun. See if you can find it on UA-cam. You could use it to see the moon cycles for the 10:20 fact
When you mentioned camera restrictions, while attempting to find the Minecraft sun and moon, I had an idea: Maybe the VR mode could help, since the camera there is your head. Unfortunately, the Minecraft stage is not available in the VR mode. So... Second idea! I haven’t tried this one yet, but maybe Olimar’s final smash tilts the camera up enough to see them?
I had the idea for the Mario Galaxy stage, that the actual stage should just be a regular flat stage, but with the blast zones being shaped like a trapezoid, widest at the top. Then, just visually, the whole world is bent before being displayed on screen. This would make _everything_ bend; all projectiles and lasers, Steve's blocks, everything. Technically even the characters will be slightly bent, but since the world isn't bent that much, it wouldn't be noticeable. It would make the whole stage more consistent.
When emulation tools get good, someone needs to go in and hack in disabled pokeball and trophy spawns to see if they're glitchy, or why they might have been disabled.
Regarding the Lava bucket on TNT bit: Depending on which part of the lava hits the TNT, (I.E. The "source block" or the lava flow) it'll actually deal more damage to the TNT- and thus detonate it sooner. The reason why charging down smash makes it harder to buffer airdodge is because, since the lava counts as a projectile, it stays active for a while, even though Steve isn't actively doing the move. But since charging down smash essentially detonates the TNT instantly, theres no time for steve to dodge, where as not charging the move will sort of knock the TNT out from under Steve's feet, giving him time to airdodge before the lava detonates the TNT. Also, hitting the TNT counts towards stale moves, so trying to do this repeatedly may require you to partially charge down smash.
For Steve grabbing, it's actually a matter of whether or not the opponent is on the ground to determine if the fence is there. If Steve grabs someone at the end of the stage, they will be floating without a fence, just like when they're smaller than Steve.
Question: Can steve's moves that can be reflected (down-smash, down-air, down-throw) be reflected multiple times? Maybe giving steve franklin's badge and hitting a reflecor (shine, bounce...)
The reason why the fence doesn't appear when Steve is Larger is because the opponent is in the air at that point. If you grab someone who's off stage and they don't have a platform below them as you grab, there just straight up won't be a fence. And Ridley seemed to be doing the aerial struggle animation here
VPNs disable netflix though. whenever i use a vpn to try and watch a show from another country, i'll get a couple mins in but then netflix blocks it saying to disable my VPN
With testing Ness and Steve with my friend, I beleive it is that lava bucket has 2 hitboxes. The more common one used to keep you inside the attack heals very little and is usually the one Absorbed by Ness. If you're closer however I found it easier to absorb the hitbox used more for damage, and thus heals the amount you'd think lava would.
Here's an interesting glitch, in the custom stage 'Slide Fight' there a glitch where if you get off the slide on the right area and use Steve's up special without going up or down, Steve will slide back and forth for a few seconds with his Elytra on.
I didn't know you played modded Minecraft. I'm excited about that~ I also didn't know that the Tinkers' Construct longsword's lunge could be used to such great effect.
Fact: Did you know that you can spike someone with a bomb-omb? All you have to do is pick any character, (Works Best With Mario). All you have to do is footstool your opponent, throw a bomb-omb up into the air, and just when the bomb-omb is about to touch the opponent, up-smash the opponent (this doesn’t work for multi-hit up-smashes). And it will spike them.
i think the fence sizes are actually 3x3 (for smaller characters) and 4x4 (for larger ones), but with the row of fences closest to steve removed so steve can pummel them. this is easiest to see when you test on ridley, but you can also see that the fence post on the left side of the zombie and the one on the right side are different distances away from the camera.
Fact: If you throw a bumper and place blocks over the bumper you will bounce off the blocks in contact with it. You won’t get hurt by blocks touching a unira though.
I'm actually surprised i havent seen someone talk about this but. When Steve get killed in Stamina Mode in the air or an attack whit knocked back the animation that he does is the same one as the one he does in Minecraft Classic, when you spawn him and he walks around.

In regards to MC's death animation, you turn red and rotate 90 degrees to one side, which means one side of your body basically clips into the ground. Steve's death animation, on the other hand, has him rotate in a manner so he starts out falling to the side, but then twists to his back. So I'd argue that it's NOT the MC death animation, and maybe more akin to something in Story Mode or Dungeons (neither of which I've played) But that's just my take.
idk if you’re even reading this, but in special smash with the franklin badge, mega man can one shot anyone with a uncharged f-smash. I found it in the event tournament a while back.
also, if you grab someone on an anvil or tnt, there will be no fence. when anvil despawns, you will release the opponent and get some speed backward in the air. there will also be no fence if you running grab someone so they're off a platform and you're not. i'm thinking the no fence thing is relatated to height.
Fun fact: the animation for being KO'd in a Stamina match from a move that has no knockback is the same as the one used when hit by Ryu or Ken's Focus Attack. Which means that if the animation for Steve being hit by Focus Attack is the same as the one when being KO'd in a Stamina match, then the animation could be unrelated to actually being a reference.
you can go into vr mode to see the top of the world where the camra cant and you can look behind maps using it. hope this tip helps for future questions

Steve's death animation, on the other hand, has him rotate in a manner so he starts out falling to the side, but then twists to his back. So I'd argue that it's NOT the MC death animation, and maybe more akin to something in Story Mode or Dungeons (neither of which I've played)
But that's just my take.
Steve leaning on a flat block on galaxy isn't freaky, but makes total sense as he would lean to counter gravity even in real life
Right when he said "Is nothing to sneeze at," I sneezed
idk if you’re even reading this, but in special smash with the franklin badge, mega man can one shot anyone with a uncharged f-smash. I found it in the event tournament a while back.
OHMYGOD I just finished hxh and now I’m sad. It was sooooo good. This is definitely something to watch. I can do it justice with just a comment
Fact: If Ice Climbers use Up-B right after jumping off ledge, they both use the Single Ice Climber Up-B (Assuming both Ice Climbers are alive).
Hahahahaha the fridge review made me instantly subscribe
I found out that Steve’s lava and anvil could be reflected the hard way...
also, if you grab someone on an anvil or tnt, there will be no fence. when anvil despawns, you will release the opponent and get some speed backward in the air. there will also be no fence if you running grab someone so they're off a platform and you're not. i'm thinking the no fence thing is relatated to height.
Min Min/ Steve matchups are hilarious, if Steve Dairs, you Can upsmash and kill Steve at very low percents
Steve isn't able to sleep through the night as monsters are nearby on the stage
With Steve's grab thing when he's bigger, the grab kind of lifts them off the ground, and when the opponent is off the ground, the fence disappears
Finally someone pronounced "Elytra" correctly!
Another fun fact about the elytra, it's functions without fireworks are based on the wing cap frpm super mario 64.
Fact: If you try to mine the star blocks in the Dream Land stage, the blocks immediately break.
you can go into vr mode to see the top of the world where the camra cant and you can look behind maps using it.
hope this tip helps for future questions
Fact: Using Olimar's Final Smash in Frigate Orpheon will make you see the second half of the stage (when it turns upside down)
wait wait wait, you are telling me PKBeats only has 100k? I thought he had 2.4 million with this quality of content!
You can exploit the durability fact about clashes by repeatedly clashing with someone who's sword is weaker than yours.
Aye my discovery got into a Pk video, Pog
