I have always adored this song on my favourite GM album. It's such a feel-good vibe track after some pretty heavy stuff on the rest of the album. I will never tire of this track. Always makes me feel good. What a gorgeous talented soul George was.

George Micheal was the coolest to me as a kid. I wish I could see how he made the whole album. Used to be totally enchanted by this album as it was indeed deeper than Faith.
I just got a blast from the past... well not so long ago... a blast from 5 years ago! I became a fan of George's music when I was 10 back in 2011. In 2012 I remember using my mother's phone to hear this song on UA-cam 😀 Ahhhhh good times! This man was just amazing, such a caring, warm soul. I hope he's with his mother and Anselmo in heaven! When I die, I hope that I could finally attend one of his concerts in heaven. Rest in peace you beautiful Greek god!!! 😢👼👼💗💗

My bff and I had a burned mix cd with this on it back in 2004 (we were 24) and we had the bartender at our local bar play the mix cd on a random Wednesday night, the only other guy at the bar was an Indian dude, 30s maybe and as soon as this came on, before George even sang a note, he said, 'George Michael, Soul Free.'

I bought this cassette in 1990. I remember it was worth 40 Hong Kong dollars which about 5 US dollars, And all I had to do was play it all day long ....

This album was a much more intellectual album compared to Faith. His best work album out of the four he produced with original material , the only reason it faired less well than it's predessor was as a result of Sony failing to market it properly. At that time he was in the middle of legal spat with Sony.
I wouldn't say better than "Faith" but different. Faith is a class album in his own rights LWP is so different and more deep and mature. Every of his albums were different from each other. Older is a classic and Patience was completly different from every work that he did before. He left us with only 4 Studio albums in a career span of 30 years. Maybe not much but I think the quality of every of the albums speaks for it selfs. I still imagine how LWP Vol. 2 could had been.

+ladymay30 4 studio albums they are 5 bro you missed 1 what about Songs From the Last Century 1999.it was his 4th studio album.alot of people think that its some compilation album but infact it was a cover album & his 4th studio album it was not hyped well enough .i have all of geroge michals discography.i have all his studio albums & compilation album Cds.including his work from Wham group(carelss whisper era)only missing few. but Older 1996 is my personal favorite.George Michael was amazing.i always listen to older album fast love,older & strangest thing all the tracks have high quality.
i agree. i really did not get into this album at first but later with this cowboys and angels praying for time etc this is by far the better album real George fans like it better
And also he purposely wanted to take back seat from being so heavily exposed - no music videos etc, which obviously was a vicious circle as Sony then refused to do much promotion for it themselves. And it still sold pretty well regardless.

This came on a mixed tape that was made for me during my first child's birth, infact I think most of the prejudice album was on there don't really remember much of the music other than this, rather ironic really things did change, still great song he made some great songs in his time that's for sure.
