I hear "two kids in a disney film, one of whom has a mother and the other of whom has a father" and think "Oh, cool. When do their parents hook up?"
I hear that and I think "So when's the mom going to die?"
Gordy: Father I found you.
Father: That nice how the family?
Gordy: Oh I forgot about them. They were taken to somewhere
Father: I gave you one job. One job Gordy.
Evilworld they were sacrificed to the Oscar god of Meyer!
A rooster named Richard. Definitely one of the most subtle innuendos in cinematic history.
Another name for "Richard" is "Dick"
Another name for "Dick" is "Cock"
Another name for "Cock" is "Rooster"
A rooster named.. Rooster... Basically.
Can't be more subtle than that
Oink Oink suey yippee yo kay yay,
PIG POWER IN THE, HOOOOUSE!
@Dominic Delliber bad movie, but good rap, and it interesting to see Critic Dance. I've never seen that before
wait....when did the human characters figure out that the pig's name was Gordy? Didn't the girl name him Pinky??
The pig told them his name.
That was her vaginas name.
11 years later and I still want to know the backstory of that cross-dressing madman with pantyhose on his head robbing a thrift store.
There was a "Sunday School Musical"? Are you serious?
I smell a WTR episode
Yup, from The Asylum, same company who made Sharknado
Wow
Yep
TallMist yes yes there was.
5:25 -- Maybe your "pan" would have been in a better mood if you'd called it a fucking POT. #StainlessRacist #TheyAllCookTheSameToMe
lol
Isn't the difference that a pot has 2 handles?
You deserve a like.
I seen the pan scene 2 years ago
LOL!
I want "Oh Gooordy" as my ringtone XD
Same. XD
Are we not going to mention how he only knows he has to head north, yet the pig tracks on the map are moving south-west?
._.
If that is the one issue you had with the movie, you need help...
+FPSGamer48 you're just butt hurt because you didn't notice it before anyone else.
Joe Kennedy well Gordy isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer... more like spoon really
@@kalebsantos72 more like a ladle!

3:26 that sounds like Mickey Mouse 😅😂
I never laughed so freaking hard in my life! 🤣🤣🤣
"Go play your banjo Goober!"
I'm going to be quoting that from now on
witsrsly he should’ve said “PLAY THIS!!!” And then a good hard sock to the face! That douchebag with the long hair is a walking punching bag!
If a pan talks, get off the pot.
Did you just, four years ago?
He did.
That was a pot
Love how you're reuploading the old stuff, makes it easier to find
MAD AD CO
Insane to think that the guy who created Mad Max wrote Babe.
Austrilian Spielberg.
+Raysiclove George Miller is an avid lover of muscle cars and talking pigs. ;)
+Raysiclove i like babe
Not surprised because the same guy who made Secret of Nimh made Secret of Nimh, Penguin and the Pebble, etc
Next summer, Elijah wood rides the wasteland alongside his faithful companion, a talking pig, in a quest to find friendship, a place to belong and fuel
This is the funniest of the Critic's reviews i've seen so far. I actually had my breakfast when he did that stare transition...nearly choked on toast.
Gordy got a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes
Babe got an Oscar and a sequel
Gordy has 26% on Rotten Tomatoes
@@YTWarrior100 still awful though
Don’t listen to Rotten Tomatoes guys, they suck!
11:26 "Oh no! They must have confused a wide-angle lens with a f**king funhouse mirror!" XD
Though as much as I found this scene funny, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the mother...
Me too
David, seriously?! HAHAHA! That scene's HILARIOUS!!!!! :)
David Martin seriously NOBODY CHECKED THIS
Thing is, the mother isn't really a bad guy. She doesn't try to deliberately sabotage Gordy's shoot and didn't have any knowledge of the sabotage
Fun fact: Tag Team (aka the creators of the masterpiece Pig Power in the House) also made Whoomp! There It Is, one of the top songs of 1992
I love how in the drowning scene, even though there was nobody around but Gordy, the boy, and the girl, a news crew apparently had time to learn of the story, pack up their van, travel however far to the scene, and set up their equipment to film the event.
Aand people who think Frozen sucks. Clearly they haven't been acquainted with Disney's live-action dark age.
You say that like there was a LIGHT age of Disney live-action
Teddy Underhill The 1990's live action dark ages.
Lunea Schnolf Yes it includes the Pirates of the caribbean, Tron, May Poppins and the marvel cinematic universe.
Teddy Underhill my bad. Plus they think they're going against the flow by saying it sucks. In reality they are changing the flow.
Teddy Underhill Also i know Frozen has flaws. The pacing can be off at times, the song Fixer Upper is a Big Lipped Alligator moment (Although i think the creators knew this and had thrown it in just to poke fun at the old Disney stereotypes) and Hans's reveal as the bad guy i found to come completely right out of nowhere, Do these flaws diminish the film. In someone else's mind probably but for me know. I still love this movie, though since HTTYD 2 came out it has lost it's number one spot as my favourite Animated film. But still follows a close second.
The problem i have with people saying it's bad is not the criticism. It's the fact that they belittle and insult those people who like the film and think that hating it will make them better human beings. What's worse is that they also draw in the "Knight Templar" crowd. You know those people who defend them saying that they have the right to express their opinion. They do of course however that doesn't mean to treat those people who like the films any less. I will not backdown from a well thought out debate. But petty insults and hollow threats aren't seen as intimidating. They're just asking to be smacked down.
Movies like this always make me think of a my childhood, on a gloomy Sunday afternoon, and I have homework due the next day. Must be the entire atmosphere/cheapness involved. I sure hope that line made sense.
+broliestbrony Wow... I'm sorry... 😓
+broliestbrony All I was saying is that they would usually put movies like this on the Family Channel on a Sunday. Not that they were good, but that's what they did.
nothin like the stank of childhood movie cheese to get you through the boring afternoons
SynisterCynic Someone understands. I'll just call mine "The Sunday Procrastinator". Suits me best.
Heck I still watch things like this review on gloomy afternoon having homework due tomorrow
If a pig can make it, anyone can.

Awesome Inspector OH MY RATIONLIZED LOGIC (since i'm an atheist)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
***** Well it was just a joke, i am an atheist but i can still make fun of myself. Millions of people say loud and proud what their faith is, and this was a joke on that as well.
"Go play your banjo Goober!"
+Sudoku Brony "Hey those...might be fighting words!"
lol
SudokuBrony go home goober!
SudokuBrony I totally disliked that douchebag with the long hair and he got a taste of Doug Stone’s knuckle sandwich and then he took a nap!
13:57 "a cross-dressing madman with pantyhose on his head, red pantyhose, mind you, robbing a thrift store" me:at gunpoint as well if I may add. You missed that important detail. Who robs a thrift store at gunpoint?? I've heard of people robbing thrift stores but robbing thrift stores at gunpoint!? That's just ridiculous.
OHHH, GORRRDY!
+Nick Carlson Oh noooo~
+M Halley OH YEAA *burst threw wall*
9:54 is home to one of my favorite transitions in cinematic history.
NC: What the hell was i looking at? 😆😆😆
Actually, Gordy and Babe came out the same year, and Babe was an adaptation of a book, so most likely the producers of Gordy heard that an adaptation of the book was being made, so they rushed to make their own talking-pig movie first
Yeah, that's what I thought.
And both got their asses kicked in the box office by Batman Forever
@@unwelldanny7108 Huh? I thought Babe was a pretty big hit at the time.....................wasn't it?
@@unwelldanny7108 Chad you always talk about batman, I believe it's about time ya just come out as gay for his bat bitch-ass
@@davidl570 It was successful, made more than its budget which was $30 million dollars.
It made $254.1 million in total.
I found a video on youtube where somebody took every clip of the Nostalgia Critic dancing and edited it together do the song White and Nerdy
thats cool inwant to see that
CG Vallejos Okay?
Can I have a link
***** Give me the link.
Can someone make Transformer Bin Laden a thing?

FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!!
Elena Kufta holmgång?
I'm surprised Michael Bay hasn't done it himself
Bobby Lawson Honestly, I think we all are.
I actually kinda like "Pig Power in the House" and if a song like "What Does the Fox Say?" can become as popular as it did, I believe Pig Power can too.
The "OHHH GORDYYY!!" Bit had me howling
Should I ever find a pig, I am going to quote Wallace Wells from the Scott Pilgrim comics: "Today a child will be born on to us. His name shall be bacon."
Actually I just had a thought - wouldn't it have been funny too to have them keep the wide-angle lens for Gordy's shots but have him win anyway, since wide-angle lenses make animals look even cuter? Hell, South Park had a whole running joke about that very concept in one episode.
yeah they might've worked better.
That wasn't a heavenly glow behind him, it was the left over wall they couldn't figure out how to remove in editing
14:19
It's NC after watching Neverending Story 3.
Sunday school muscial exists...
Sunday

+MrBadgerology The idea was conceptualised after crew members attended ONE seminar on how to market to Christian audiences... That's not a joke either.
ademetal Oh my god....
***** How I love YMS...
I KNEW IT!
you fine lookin kitty-kat you ;)
+MrBadgerology Todd in the Shadows and Film Brain did an amazing video on it, if you haven't seen it.
Sunday school musical. *sarcastic clapping*
one of the silliest films NC has reviewed just on the content, but it has to be one of his best reviews.
Did the nostalgia critic make conway twitty cutaways before Family Guy? Where did this start?
Well, technically it started with Hee Haw.
Because of this movie
Rooster: "Oh, Gordy! When the Summer Olympics were going on this year, Thomas Joseph Gilbert lost the California Lottery two times in a row!"
Gordy: "Oh, my Lord!"
6:57. I agree with the Critic. Not dancing with your mom is probably one of the most lamest things to be upset about. And he can't be the only kid there at that dinner party. Because I'm pretty sure there are other girls at that party that he can dance with.
I guess it was a means to the ends. Of the pool scene.
Imagine being a mamas boy most serial killers would admire
Babe is a much better movie that Gordy.
4:06 hes going SOUTH!!!
I didn't like either, actually. Though Babe was still... not as difficult for me to watch.
AMPHAROS HAS SPOKEN. LAW BE HIS WORD.
Quite natural, when the former got based from a Dick King Smith classic and got the creator of Mad Max as its screenwriter, producer AND co-director...
no shit sherlock!!
Gotta admit I saw both Babe & Gordy as a kid (also big fan of the animated Charlotte's Web), so for me, Gordy is just a silly little kids film about a talking pig! Also glad to see even the Nostalgia Critic digs PIG POWER IN THE HOUSE!
I never thought of Gordy as a rip-off of Babe, the two piggies have totally different stories and while both end up on farms I like Gordy because he had a proper taste of fame and still turned out alright 🐷
i found out the reason why most Disney characters don't have mom's, Walt lost his at a young age, he thought he'd try and connect with some some of his characters that way not that he hates moms he just wasn't able to know his so it must of been really hard on him seeing as most kids have both parents. It's hard to lose those you care about the most.
And everyone else at Disney decided to keep doing that even after Walt’s death why again?
@@MasonJWMyers Tradition maybe?
I know this comment is years old but this is all false, both of Walt’s parents died when he was in his late 30s early 40s. He had a decent (for the time period) childhood and he was very close with this family.
*Steps into an elevator of strangers. Complete silence*
Me: "...
....
.....
*OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH
GOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!* "
As Barb Wire would say, "Don't call the pig, babe."
I love pigs! actually have a pig as a pet! they're extremely smart, took us literally an hour to potty train her! they make great pets, and they're so cute that idk how anyone cat eat them!
Tag Team became inactive the same year this film came out.
Food for thought.
+Blue Whovian lol *applauds you*
+Blue Whovian Ham sandwich, I'd have thought.
***** Whoops. *corrects mistake* Sorry about that. -_-)
Mitt Romney XIIV no wonder; Gordy flopped at the box office and was crushed by Babe! As a result, no acclaim, no profit. Time to disband and pursue solo careers.
@@andrewguerra9343 And then Babe gets crushed by Batman Forever.
"transmorphers" That sounds like a euphemism...
i cant tell if hes serious about pig power in the house vid or if hes just fucking with us more
+Demegor hes serious
that just makes it even more funny
Its ok I guess......im still waiting for the Critic to go looney tunes on my ass
I like to think he's seriously fucking with us
Demegor oink oink suewee yippy yo ki yay! pig power in the house!
I was eating when it got to the David Lynchian/hero pig edit part and I started laughing so hard I almost choked
3:12 - Since when Mickey Mouse becomes a rooster?
Glen Wang sounds more like Skeeter Valentine from Doug!
How in the world are Gordy's family still alive when he lives in the United States where we seem to eat food faster the speed of light.
Pig powa in da house!!
did i miss a scene, when did gordy's name change from pinky to gordy?
***** Jinnie Sue named him Pinky when she found him
***** yes i know that but what i mean is when did his name go back to gordy, because the guy says later, i want you to kidnap gordy
***** i think it went back to gordy when Hankie got him
That song is my jam.
Gordy actually came out in 1994, not worldwide but in Tucson, AZ. I watched it a whole lot on VHS. I’m in Arizona myself, and I say it’s a good movie.
10:23 "I'm going to eat breakfast now" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I couldn't stop laughing at that 🤣 😂 🤣🤣
Pig power in the house is gangsta as FUCK!
The Notorious P.I.G.
I have a request. The impossible. The terror. Even Freedy Kruger is terrified of this movie. If I can even call it that. It's called The Amazing Bulk, not Hulk, Bulk. With a B.
I fear Freedy Kruger, always haunting my dreams with free shit that I don't wake up with
10:23 Such a shame that never became a meme. . .
Omg that scene where nc is eating breakfast, his face!! I haven't laughed that hard in ages! everytime I think about its funny again!! :-D
The face he makes kind of reminds me of an expression Jim Carry would make, and that makes it even funnier to me than it would be otherwise lol XD
Dude that "Oh Gordy" skit made me laugh so hard I got a stomach cramp
Rooster: "Oh, Gordy! While you were busy saving your father, the rest of your family got kidnapped!"
Gordy: "Oh, well. I guess I'll save them."
Rooster: "Oh, Gordy! While you were busy saving the rest of your family, you were waiting for season two of The Villains of Valley View to air on Disney Channel!"
Gordy: "Oh, well. I guess I'll check the TV Guide to see if it's on!"
Rooster: "Oh, Gordy! While you were busy waiting for it to air on Disney Channel, Tina Turner passed away this year!"
Gordy: "Oh, my God!"
Why in the entire free world would a family friendly animal movie like Gordy make no sense? It’s a funny comedy about a talking pig becoming famous. Is Doug Walker a.k.a. the Nostalgia Critic completely high as hell on depression medication? If he thinks Gordy is an insult, he must be a psychopathic freak of nature!
This has to be one of my all time favourite Nostalgia Critic episodes! Have never laughed so hard at so much stupidity!!
How come when he says pot, people complain it's a pan, when he says pan, people complain it's a pot
Pig Power in the House? Well it's no "Go Ninja Go Ninja Go," but it'll do
Well, the book Babe is based on (The Sheep-Pig) came out before Gordy did, so it still counts as Gordy ripping it off!
What about Charlotte's Web
This is hands down the FUNNIEST review of a movie I have ever seen. Doug has outdone himself!
Pig power in the house will never be good as another Disney rap song called Cory in the House otherwise known as the best anime of all time
Ooooh Goooordy
I'm almost thirty now and I'm STILL wondering what the hell happened to that damn farmer on Gordy's farm 0_0
I'm here cuz Todd in the Shadows after all this time covered Tag Team on OHW. Todd totally didn't give Pig Power the meme cred it deserves. He also missed an opportunity to make a joke at the "it goes platinum" line. Todd could have said something like "Yeah, bet Tag Team WISHED it had gone platinum." Probably didn't cuz he didn't bother watching Gordy for the OHW ep.
Yup Im here too.
I remember being blown away to learn that Hydrox cookies came out before Oreos, myself.
Never heard of this movie before. So, apparently, Babe is actually a rip off of a rip off. Charlottes Web being the original (and best) published in the 50's and made into a movie in the 70's. Babe is a great movie though. Shame about the middle child in the talking pig family...
Harlot's Web is the best.
"Child, did you say g'night to your vagina? Don't make me force the Bible on somethin' I find confusin'!" XD
From @9:39 - @9:52
At least Ed Wood looks at the footage of his movies before releasing it to theaters.
and so the cult of of pig power was born
h.r. animates
Screw pig power I am going with Turtle Power lol
"Goodnight Pinky" lmao
The weird transition was hands down one of my favorite moments on the NC.
Felony robbery, Possession of an illegal handgun,Aggravated assault by pointing firearm........also he stole their lamp and was dressed like.....lets just play the tape your honor
Holiday Styles the verdict: somebody should’ve made a movie about the cross dressing robber instead!
Holiday Styles the verdict: somebody should’ve made a movie about the cross dressing robber instead!
Babe is obviously the more superior of the talking pig movies. Gordy was the usual Disney dreck that came out in the 90s.
The music video was pretty cool tho.
Disney just tries to rip off other animated films just to get more attention
Now they're ripping off their OWN animated movies by making them live-action. Go figure.
If the little girl can understand Gordy and he already goes by Gordy then why did she change his name when Gordy could've told her his name?
3:25 I seriously cannot stop laughing at this.
5:24 That's a pot
Probably the reason why it was angry at him.
I know he just screwed up.
+Hen The G' You couldn't write that 6 days ago? :P
thats a lot of fish
ik XD
Wait gordy is in Fayetteville AR?! I live there and I've never seen half the places in this movie.
ChrisStohl Actually it says Arkansas, Ark.
AR is the initials of Arkanasas....
ChrisStohl That's because it was filmed in Georgia.
I will give them props for actually using an Arkansas license plate on the RV, though they probably could've just shot the thing in the Ozarks.
Leave it to Hollywood (or Disney, in this case) to substitute any given southern state for any other, despite the fact that Georgia and Northwest Arkansas look very different.
Hell, I recall an episode of Heroes where a plane crashed near Fayetteville, though it was immediately obvious the scene was shot in California.
It's too bad more studios don't shoot around here; it's a beautiful area.
I'm going to eat breakfast now.
“Somebody always has to die in a Disney movie”
-Bill Burr
I loved Gordy as a kid since I am from Arkansas
12:51 You know they wanted to have him say “Kill Gordy.” But they were writing a G film.
15:28 "Jessica will not be next in line to receive the money."

They creditted clips from "Pig Power".
That's almost as amazing by unbelievability as the actual song.

17:56 ladies and gentlemen Mr. Conway Twitty.
Are we just letiing the fact that one of our main charactersa is named "Hanky" slide? I feel like with a name like that, he'll grow up to be the real life equivalent of Fuzzy Lumpkins from Powerpuff Girls.
I commend the creators of Babe for taking this piece of crap and turning it into an Oscar nominated movie.
That'll do, pig. That'll do.
Well also Babe was a book before it was a movie soooo
it was nominated for 2 awards it won one
Babe is based on the Sheep-Pig and was in production for over 10 years. So strangely enough Gordy is a ripoff of a film that wasn't finished yet.
+Chino Cocoa great use of reference. I commend you.
"I'm going to eat breakfast now" is probably my favorite NC moment.
