Ben, personally (from what I assumed from the alleged part) I was sa’d as a child as well. I also have ocd tendencies somewhat as a result, it does NOT EVER EVER excuse abuse and manipulation. This is one of the cases where the abused became the abuser which is extremely sad. I heard he told one of his exes he had seggual thoughts about her son (who was like 8 I think) Again, coming from someone who was a victim of csa it fills me with rage and makes me sick to my stomach to think about. As someone who struggles with ocd and intrusive thoughts, there’s is a HUGE difference between an involuntary thought popping into your head and actually acting on it. He acted on his violent compulsions which is dangerous, I hope someone can 5150 him so he gets the help he needs. But “blood” would NOT be on your hands if he decided to off himself, u can’t hold that with you. You’re standing up for the abused that Russ was the cause of, you’re doing more good than harm in any outcome🙏

Sounds like you were manipulated/guilted by Russ' best friend about "if" Russ happened to no longer be alive after you published your series. Russ has way too much ego to unalive himself. Guarantee that Russ is playing a role in that communication so that you don't expose him to the full extent.

From the first video I watched, you became my all time favorite content creator, not only because of how fun your videos are to watch, but because of the amount of effort you put in and the genuine empathy you have for the victims you are advocating for. I am so sorry you are going through all the hardship that comes with this, but please never forget that what you are doing matters, it is making a difference in the world, and there are so many people who value and care about you for it. I love the work that you are doing, and I appreciate how much you all are putting your asses on the line to not only get justice for the victims but to prevent new ones from being made. Not only did you deserve to have the most recent video go viral, but so did everyone on your crew on and off camera, and so did the survivors. I sincerely hope you’re able to continue helping people and doing what you love, while also caring for yourself. (Which can be a tricky balance, especially in this situation.) That said, I do want to make a point about something you said. Mental illness and childhood trauma (including CSA) =/= cause of someone becoming an abuser. Most survivors, myself included, choose to break the cycle and not become abusers ourselves as we understand exactly the kind of severe pain and ripple effects that can come from severe abuse, and would be the last people to ever want to enact that onto someone else. Many of us have love and empathy for people. Russ is coming from a place that is the opposite, a complete lack of empathy and vindictiveness, especially towards women. He specifically targets and tortures women so they “know their place”. That trait within a person isn’t something that abuse causes. It is something selfishness, something that his rotten inner character, causes. He made his bed, he made the choices he did freely with the knowledge that what he is doing is wrong, and now he will lie in it. Thanks to you, and the many people on you and the Wolf’s crew. 🙏🏼
He may enact the abuse through the lense of his struggles with OCD and trauma, but that doesn’t mean his trauma caused him to be an abuser. For example, with his OCD, instead of making his partner walk through the door fifty/sixty times, he could’ve chosen to recognize that his partner doesn’t owe it to him to do that, and to seek professional help for tools he can use to cope with his feelings of discomfort. One choice respects his partner as a human being while still honoring his own needs, and one prioritizes his needs over his partner’s autonomy.

If you look at 95% of most criminal abuse cases. Any kind of abuse or bullying it usually always stems back to a traumatic childhood experience. They had all their power over their life and choices taken away from them against their will. So most of those children grow up to be abusers themselves whether they realize it or not they are projecting their childhood trauma onto others to try to regain some of that power back and watch others suffer as they have. It really is sad because a traumatic childhood experience isn't their fault and causes deep rooted mental issues but at the same time when does the adult have to take responsibility for their actions when they grow up?

Russ needs very serious psychological help. Whatever happened to him in the past, it does not justify what he does to others in the present. The fact that he isn't behind bars is the craziest part, to me. What you're doing is important, and we all appreciate you. I remember first hearing about McKamey Manor about 7-9 years ago on Good Mythical Morning and I looked up the MM UA-cam channel and was so surprised at what an odd and screwed up place it was. I've occasionally looked it up again since then to see if there are any more updates on it and your videos are pretty much what I've been waiting to see. If Russ unalives himself it is not your fault, his actions are his own, and shutting down McKamey manor is the right thing to do. Russ needs professional help, but he cannot be allowed to keep hurting people.
Besides, McKamey manor never should’ve been allowed to exist in the first place, and certainly not for this long. The police should’ve arrested him long ago. The fact that Russ has not been shut down is a failure of the justice system, and all you’re doing is trying to make sure that failure is corrected so that no more innocent people get hurt. You’re not in the wrong for trying to prevent him from committing more violent crimes.
Been here since the cult takedown in San Diego by majority, I actually love the energy of you staying up and not taking care of yourself for the pursuit of a good cause. It'd be an interesting twist if a significant number of early "Marks" put together a Plea Package for Russ. Setting conditions such as... Attend an series of Impact Session like those mandated for negligent, or abusive parents/spouses. In the first Session Russ listens to statements from "Marks", and others effected by his gross Long Running behaviour.

I have been watching since the banksy project, and you have always been in the top 3 invest journalists on UA-cam, and the sad but true truth is if you had invested in a producer 2 years ago you would probably have 10 million subscribers right now. Either way, I love you and even doing things you own way your co rent is absolute S tier and no matter what business decisions you make at the end of the day if you keep giving us these masterpieces you will be compensated for your effort, it’s just unfortunate it will likely be later rather than sooner.

in reference to the 5 minute mark where you describe not eating, that really hit me hard and broke my heart a bit because I know exactly what you're feeling. I'm the primary caregiver for a family member in permanent hospital care with ALS, and every moment I'm not there I feel guilty. I've lost 12 pounds in the last couple months and am down to 112. it's really hard to take care of yourself but you have to if you're going to have the strength to advocate for other people. you're doing good work and you deserve to be taken care of yourself. love and appreciation from a fan.
If Russ was to do that, that's not on you. I'm sure it will really hurt him to be exposed but that's on him.
He absolutely needs therapy. Intensive therapy. Maybe a stay in mental institution or hospital. He's obviously got more going on than OCD. Deep seeded trauma.. it's really sad that he wants to act out his trauma in a way to try to "heal" himself 😕

I’ve been through hell and back from birth well into adulthood. I focus my energy on connecting with and mentoring those in harm and dark places. I pour into my children and loved ones, I help those in need. Russ is v*ctim who became the very monster who hurt him. He’s fundamentally flawed and broken. That’s his fault at this point. As an adult it’s his duty, his responsibility, and so on to check himself and clean up whatever’s going on within. Make no mistake about it.
Don’t let YT or Russ dim your light, you’re doing great things and it’s going to be heard one way or another. Please also don’t forget to tend to yourself and fill your cup up. It’s imperative if you’re going to continue to shine a light on such important matters! Cheers!
