I apologize this video was severely rushed, ill do better. But please show some love to my talented friend Mui, all artwork and music in this video is by him. UA-cam: bit.ly/2ky0lLf Deviant Art: bit.ly/2TZlFt0 I love you, like a lot.
Please can you talk about little nightmares the game ? Please it is so cool and I am sure that you will like it! And ... Life . Can you do a video about life? Life is darkly beautiful and ugly . I love you too.
To add to the idea of "Kaneki rewriting his tragedy," He almost literally did just that. He recontextualizes all the tragic elements of his life as necessary to being him to be the person he is by the end of the story. "On that fateful day with Rize, I was sundered from the human world. And everything began to change. My life was threatened. I was horrifically tortured, unable to achieve what I wanted, and I even lost. But I found a new place I belonged. Allies. Friends. People I could call my teachers. People I love." " And that's why, even if I were to know everything that'd happen after, I still would have gone to meet Rize that day. To me, it was all necessary. "
I also remember the tear I shed, while recently reading the last chapter. It is a true work of art! Story and visuals were matching better then anything I've ever read or watched.
Kaneki's journey has been long, full of pain and strife with tiny bits of happiness sprinkled here and there along the path... He was surely meant to die at the end but really only survived thanks to the efforts of his bro in law Ayato who got him out of Dragon's dissolving body (somehow). No matter the circumstances of the story, I will always appreciate this amazing journey that Sui Ishida has made!
I believe all this is a reference to a truth, that good people turn evil or choose the wrong path when love is involved but goes wrong, or unexpected. Just like Obito lost Rin, Sasuke lost his clan, Madara lost his brother, Anakin afraid of losing Padme and so on...Kaneki's date turned wrong...its everywhere
Tokyo Ghoul is a really beautiful and tragic story. It’s a realist depiction of the complexities, persecutions and disparities of humanity that can easily be reflected into our own society. Kaneki’s character within itself isn’t meant to act as a relatable vessel protagonist like most other series, it is used to depict the full repercussions of the malice of society. His story in itself is what he stated it to be; a tragidy . That’s why I was partly saddened when the story ended in happiness. I could feel the author hadn’t planned this, and I could tell that the story had been set up for the “train wreck” ending. Regardless, the ending is beautiful in its own way, just different from the rest of the story
Personally speak, although that last arc was rushed to hell, I think I would have been more disappointed if it ended it tragedy. Considering all that Kaneki went through just to have all taken away in the worst way possible. Him finally finding a reason to live and stepping up as the one eyed king would have felt pointless with it just going to end with him losing everything. So even though that happy end wasn’t planned and more of his friends should have died during that last arc, I believe this “happy ending” was well deserved. Plus the original Tokyo ghoul ended with tragedy, so I think it was better to end it at a high note.
ahh Tokyo Ghoul is such a masterpiece..I realy love this anime. It's actually my first and favourite anime i've watched and it will always hold a speciall place in my heart..
the thing that makes me love tokyo ghoul from the beginning is there are no clear cut between " Good " and ' Evil ", Ghoul or Human, they have their own ideals to follow and their dearest to protect
What if Rize lived at the end of re? Re was good though I think we should’ve got something bittersweet and then got the happy stuff. Three basic food groups 1. Tragedy 2. Bittersweet 3. Happiness
Tokyo ghoul re makes me sad because of how bad it was after rue island. But i can't blame ishida for being tired and sick of the series. The man deserves some rest. Still my favourite manga
Everything changed after the attack on Anteku Cafe. I really loved the characters especially Mr. Yoshimura. Why did he die. He was like a father figure to Ken. And I really missed the Centipede Kakuja kaneki in Re. His craziness, his mad laughter, sent chills when he whooped Mr. Shinohara. I was hoping for the centipede to show up against Furuta. I just wanted to see his reaction when he would face someone crazier than himself. Plus I really hoped RE to have a happy ending. Like rize being saved by kaneki and then things getting normal. Ichika kaneki learning about books from rize. Say whatever you want about rize, but she was the victim of V. She was just running away and who created V anyway? Wouldn't it had been good if in the end Kaneki and Rize fought together against the leaders of V and Furuta? Think of the conversations between Rize and Furuta where she could take revenge from V and Furuta. I miss the emotions. Tbh I never liked touka. Ken and Rize or Ken and Eto would've been good. I'm just saying random things because I really miss Tokyo ghoul. Loved Takizawa btw. Amon should've stayed human though. They just turned everyone into ghouls in re.
I was overwhelmed by every known emotion when I read that and then we all got to see it happen so all in all t was very well done excellently laces into proportion
Well the final arc of tokyo ghoul re wasn't my favorite arc and was kinda rushed but I am glad that Kaneki's story does have a happy ending. Thanks for the vid dresrosa.
I wonder if anyone will continue the story of Tokyo ghoul, talking about the Kaneki's future, his children. That would be really interesting, or the past (The creation of ghouls), talking more about the characters like Uta.
hey been subbed for a while i just wanted to say the fucking aesthetic of your videos is so fucking amazing no one does the shit you do better and you should really have more subs idk if u will even read this but i love ur content on everything your videos are so satisfying to watch thanks for doing what you do and thanks for reading this if you did maynnn ♡
Everything in this video is good... The expalanation etc..... But when you pronounce Haise as "Haiase"... That kind of tickled me from the inside.... loved the Vid Though
Sorry for the plug but I just made a video about the Tokyo ghoul anime and what went wrong with it. I would really appreciate it if you were to check it out. It took me a while to make and I would like to know your opinion on it.
I wasn't satisfied by the ending. While Kaneki found his happiness, many other characters didn't. Furthermore, many of the character's endings felt unearned.
it wasnt a matter of everyone finding happiness or not. it was kaneki and the people directly around him finding happiness from everything they had gone through in the story and before that
Kaneki did several terrible things throughout the story. In the first series, after defeating Yamori and escaping Aogiri he abandoned Anteiku. Later, he murdered and cannibalized numerous ghouls over the six month timeskip just to increase his own power. In :re, during the "Rose" arc he threw Tsukiyama off the lunar Eclipse building knowing that Kanae would sacrifice herself to save him. Then, he abandoned the Quinx after learning Shirazu had died. Much later, during the battle of the 24th ward he devours the Oggai and becomes a "Dragon" that ravaged Tokyo and killed countless. This subsequently led to the ghoulification of Tokyo and a battle with the "Dragon Orphans" that continues even during the epilogue six years later. Kaneki committed these and other acts. However, the story rarely calls him out for this, and he never consciously tries to atone for anything he's done. In the epilogue, he even states he's at peace with what he's done (though he realizes there are other who haven't). So, he just goes on with his life by helping when needed and feeling a bit bad at times. Now, this isn't to say other characters haven't done terrible things in the story (many have). However, the difference is that while many of them end up alone or forgotten, Kaneki gets his happy ending. They get nothing while he gets everything. That's not a good conclusion.

It made me cry at the very end because he finally found what he was looking for. Happiness.
I also remember the tear I shed, while recently reading the last chapter. It is a true work of art! Story and visuals were matching better then anything I've ever read or watched.

When u think about it, all what Kaneki wanted is a date with rize and it ended with a huge tragedy, same thing for furuta, the real villain is rize.

Let’s just realize this all started with a date...
This serie had such an impact on my life. That i will never forget this serie.

That's exactly what happened. Ishida plan to end in a trian wreck way but later change his mind

TG:Re it's not bad at all, it's pretty similar(In quality) to the first manga, the onky thing was that it was rushed in the end.
What makes me sad the most are the anime adaptations.
Tokyo Ghoul:re is by far the biggest fuck up in anime history.
Tokyo Ghoul will always be my all time favorite 💜💜 I wish there will be an OVA at least. I can't still accept that it already ended 😭😭
I like these videos it expands my mindset on Tokyo ghoul
YESSSS A TOKYO GHOUL VID

You mean anime skrillex
I don't think Ishida is going to, so somebody might as well.
I mean it was stated that sui ishida will be taking a long break from the manga industry
i think there is a continuan of any kind it will be written by someone else and not ishida
@@Lia-py1qo He's starting a new project. So maybe he's back?
I actually hated the anime because of the timeline messup but i miss it aswell 😭

I'm sorry for being late, i'm really seldom on UA-cam.
After all the pain and death he's caused throughout the series, does he really deserve happiness?
Think about the pain he received
Dying is easy, living is hard. Kaneki probably wish he was dead that way he can finally know peace. So is the tragedy that is Ken Kaneki really over?
Notification gang
fuck sad endings, I honestly prayed that TG wouldn't have a tragic ending, I just really like happy ending i guess.
I kira demand a re boot of this series
First 💪

All Ik is TGre part two of the anime is probably the most disappointing adaptation I’ve seen of mainstream anime in a while
Can anyone give me a plug to read manga I want Tokyo Ghoul to be my first
Mangarock app works well or buy volumes online or physical copies
Get the physical copies. Tokyo Ghoul manga is worth every penny. ;)
