- Today I'm sharing my vintage record collection! I have been collecting records for some time now. I have many Disney and Christmas records as well as many classic artists such as Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland and so many more! My record player is a General Electric Automatic, I would recommend this player if you are looking for a vintage one! It works beautifully.

Finally a youtuber that loves Sinatra!
I love old music and seeing your record collection makes me so happy!
I love your very cute record collection. I don't know if you know this , but you can buy an adaptor piece for your 45's so they don't slide around. Sometimes when you buy 45's they will come with the adapter still in it so you may have one and not know it.
I feel like I’m going to cry when I hear old Disney too! Especially in Disney world I just want to cry!
I’m glad I’m not the only one!! 😂😂
I’m so happy that you mentioned what type of record players we should buy. Because I have one right now that doesn’t work great and gives weird feedback.. so I’m happy to know which one I should get!!
Yea thanks for the update💖
Love your top! Thanks for playing some songs, that was cool.
You have inspired me to start searching thrift shops for some classic finds! Not let down so far can't wait to keep it growing 💓💓
Love your record collection. I love collecting used record aswell. I'm always hitting up my local goodwill.
Great video. Enjoyed it. I love your GE Record Player. That GE record record player was one of the top of the line brands back in the 70's. GE was #1. Enjoy!!
Honestly I’m so so happy you did this video. Bc I have a record player myself & I’m looking forward to improving my vinyl collection. I mainly just have like modern music records like Ed Sheeran, Adele, Sam Smith & Hozier. The most vintage one I have is Ritchie Valens but I really really want to improve on my vintage records & I’m so glad you showed us your collection bc it helped me to see what I want. & encourages me a whole lot more to do my vintage shopping lol bc Ive been putting it off for soooo long! Lol thank you Emelyne you’re one of the sweetest, cutest, prettiest, classiest girls on UA-cam! 💗 the other one of course would be Gabi it’s a good thing you two are friends lol love you 💜
If you didn’t know already; the Bing Crosby and Disney albums at the end we’re 78 R.P.M. records, and if you want to know more about them you should look up more information about 78 R.P.M. records. The most important thing for you to know is to not play 78 R.P.M. records with the stylus you have on the record player in the video more than once. It has a very thin stylus that will damage 78 R.P.M. records, and your stylus, because 78s have thicker grooves, and until you get a 78 R.P.M. stylus it is recommended not to play your 78s with your current stylus, and when you get that off eBay or Amazon, take the metal spindle for changing off, (I think by pushing down and turning right), and you should have a modern, shorter spindle, like on your other record player you have. If you really love your records, also, don’t play them with your other, cheaper record player. You should look up more information about that too. The reason you should take the changing spindle off is because 78s are thicker and less flimsy than normal 45s and 33s, and are made of shellac - a resin secreted by the female lac bug, on trees in the forests of India and Thailand. Pre-1950’s 78s are usually breakable, so try not to drop them, and if you use your changer with 78s they can break and will damage your changer, unlike most 33s and 45s, so if you use you changer a lot or love your 78s it is recommend not to do that too. I doubt you don’t know this already, but you have to change the speed to 78 R.P.M. on your record player if you have all 3 or 4 speeds: (33, 45, 78, or 16, 33, 45, 78).
78s will be fine on this type of changer. It's only the umbrella spindle-type changers that 78s shouldn't be played on. Overarm-type changers were designed with 78s in mind.
This uses a Varco crystal cartridge, which uses a flipover needle (I have a Swingmate myself), so her stylus has LP on one side, and 78 on the other.
She probably doesn’t know how to maintain or clean a record player.
🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
You are wrong about don't playing old vinyl on cheap record player.
Nice record collection so far!
Also, if you're curious about what model your GE is, it's the GE "Swingmate". They also did a "Wildcat" version and the "Mustang". Really looks great!
You can stack up to 6 records at a time, and if you need the 45rpm stacker, it's GE EV#437SF (or Phanstiehl GE-3).
I think you and I would get along famously! I am a HUGE Bing Crosby fan, and I love collecting any album I can find with his recordings, even if I already have copies of them. For Christmas a few years ago, my mom gave me FOUR albums of 78 RPM records of Bing's music, including a "Merry Christmas" album (identical to yours with the pink and greenish-blue cover).
Months later, I became a proud owner of a GE Swingmate. Same color too! Makes a great little stacker for my 45s.
I know what you mean lol I love looking in the thrift stores to see if I can find something before I buy it online! Cute records!!
❤ I stuck around 'til the end. I don't mind your longer videos at all. I love all of your videos.
I love ur collection. I would totally be like u and collect alot of the old disney records. Im a huge disney fan myself. I love the classic Christmas records too like frank and bing. 👍🏼❤️🎙
I stuck to the end! I loved this video so much!
Exactly what I was hoping to find, a vintage collection, and Sinatra is my favorite too 🤍

I grew up in the fifties. Your fascination with this period is interesting and very fun to watch. Growing up I read the Nancy Drew books and of course The Hardy Boys.

Love your record collection !!! I have many myself ! From my childhood ! Just wanted to let you know that , one record in Dixie Land is the woman who is on the cover . Her name is Eydie Gorme' . Eydie is short for Edith . Look her up and you should find the right way you pronounce it .

I love this song “how much is that doggy in the window?”
I appreciate your collection. Everyone should listen to what they like. Enjoy your music.
Girl, don’t apologize for things like that. You shouldn’t let the comments get to you like that. Read the good comments and don’t worry about the bad or negative ones. 💗💗 you’re too much of a ray of sunshine to be worried about that kind of stuff!
And you inspire me so much
where did you get your record rack? I love it!
This is lovely! I just posted my own record collection and it's so nice to see a fellow disney vinyl collector! New subscriber here

You got specific taste, i like it. I highly recommend you to check 70's music. Steely Dan for example.

Would you mind telling me what you thought of the record player/radio/cd player? How was the actual sound on all aspects when trying it out? Thank you for your time.
That will be in my video on Friday! I’m still playing around with it so I want to make sure I have long enough to use it!
Can you make more of these please i love these
Yes I love moon river! Breakfast at Tiffany’s!
What has highlight are you wearing in this it’s gorgeous 😍
those wire organizers can hurt your vinyls! you can put cardboard or a piece of wood over the wire on the bottom to keep them safe!

Hehe!!
Where did you find that record!! The Disneyland one I’m so obsessed
The first one mentioned the tiny one
You should upgrade the stylus of the crosley if you have not already. The default stylus on the crosley is going to damage yoyr records. You can buy a good one for like 10-20$
the issue lies within the missing counterweight thus increasing the tracking force to a damaging degree
Is the sound quality good on this record player considering getting one :) also ly❤️
WHAT WAS THE JUDY GARLAND ONE I LOVE HER
The "Gigi" record is interesting, because it is featured on the cover of the Pink Floyd album "Ummagumma" (which you might not find cute, though ; -).
Hermosa coleccion
Omg where did you get your blouse 😍😍
Tjmaxx!
SweetEmelyne's omfg you replied!!!
Thanks, love your style ❤️❤️❤️
Disney songs do that to me too💕💝💕
I saw Elvis and I immediately liked this video haha
To avoid the glare, raise your ring light so it won't go straight at you. Raise it way above the camera.
My Grandma used to sing "How much is that doggy in the window" to me and my sister when we were little all the time.
My favorite is the Partrige Family Christmas Album
I think it's cute when you say cute 🤗🐰🦄💟🌹💓
