- A week of vlogs to end January and welcome February :) Today I am getting organised and making my leftover cereal muffins 🧁

:: THINGS MENTIONED ::
My leftover cereal muffins (I am not an expert baker!)
260g plain flour
50g sugar
2tsp baking powder
1tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
4 crushed weetabix (or 100g of crushed cereal)
1 egg
milk
75ml sunflower oil
90ml maple syrup or runny honey
2 or 3 mashed ripe bananas
mix the dry ingredients
beat egg in measuring jug, add milk up to make up to 170ml
mix oil and syrup/honey into egg mixture with a fork
mix wet ingredients into dry
stir in mashed banana
add chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Cook at 170c for 22-25 minutes.

Glad you are making an end of January blog. I struggle through January even though it is my birthday month. I made myself go out into the garden today to do a bit of tidying and then did too much. But I do feel much better in myself for getting out into the fresh air. I keep thinking of making a simple journal to remind myself of things to do and what I have achieved. It's so easy to get into a rut.

A little choc syrup to add to your coconut water ? Lol. Occasionally I like " egg creams". Which have no eggs! Maybe once upon a Time they did, but essentially it's a fizzy chocolate milk drink, a little milk and chocolate mixed with mostly seltzer.

Aw, thanks, I’m really quite pants at cooking - I take a Ready Steady Cook approach 😅 I try to save recipe videos in one playlist but I do sometimes miss one or two out 🫣 xx

I was given an early birthday gift when I learned you are doing a week of vlogs. My birthday is Thursday, and it is a treat for me to have your vlogs to watch this week! I’ve got a notebook that I jot stuff down in that’s been on the go for about thirty years! It’s become more of a Christmas book in recent years to remind me of what worked and what didn’t! Lovely vlog Ali. Xx

I absolutely loved The Lost Bookshop. I wasn’t expecting the ‘magic’ twist when I started reading it but so enjoyed it. Have you read ‘Being Netta Wilde’? If not I would recommend it. The muffins looked wonderful by the way.

Love these little vlogs, So nice to keep up with your Mums from elementary school, I have a group of very dear friends from my children’s early years, we meet up every other month we all ourselves the PTA, they recently all came to my sons wedding as he thinks of them as family.❤

Those ear pods are terrible for causing infections and ear balance issues , my daughter’s had so many ear infections in the last few years with them. X
I can’t wear ear pods as they cause me ear pressure problems because of eustachian tube dysfunction, plus I suffer from vertigo. They’re probably also negatively affecting people’s hearing, so your daughter is likely better off not using them in the long run.

Totally agree with @sharonf8188 that your vlogs are always a bright spot in my day. Loved yesterday’s walk in the woods!
