The 4 Phils - producing Sultans of Swing - Behind the scenes

Currently in production in the 4 Phils studio is a cover of Sultans of Swing - a great song by Dire Straits released in 1978 shortly after the band was formed. It features some great guitar riffs by Mark Knopfler. Knopfler also had/has a unique gruff vocal quality - I believe not the greatest vocalist but definitely a great songwriter and story teller and in my view definitely one of the world's great guitarists.
The cover by the 4 or 5 Phils will be another 2 weeks in production. This behind the scenes video shows how I arrange/orchestrate the parts, then record each part and then mix/master those parts together - a pre taste of the final product. It's almost 9 minutes long and you have to watch right through to hear JUST the intro and verses 1 & 2 but shows 3 steps of the process before we even go to video production. Disclaimer - this is NOT an arranging/orchestrating lesson but if you want me to make a video lesson on orchestrating/arranging a song for string quartet or string section, let me know in the comments and I'd enjoy doing that.
This is also the process for arranging/orchestrating school ensemble pieces then producing the learning media.
