I've always been a fan of square or rectangular shape vintage Omega watches from the 1930s and the 1940s. But I will create a video on those in the near future. In this episode, I would like to introduce a beautiful oversized Omega bumper automatic under reference OT 3903 from the 1950s. Some collectors will refer to it as the cioccolatone, named by Italian because of its rounded square chocolate shape.
After watching this video, please comment below with your opinion.
I hope you'll enjoy this video as I continue to produce more of this kind of video.

I have to agree. haha
wow what a gorgeous watch.
Thank you for finally giving me some information on the watch passed down to me. It’s so hard to find information on this watch!
My pleasure. Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful timepiece.
It sure is!
Absolutely beautiful watch, Another great job Derek
Thank you kindly!
Both are incredible !!! lugs are awesome, dials colours are perfect...
Yes they are! Really like this one!
Very Nice Pieces! Wonder why today, Omega doesn't make an Rectagular or Square Pieces.
Gübelin also produced a very similar model.
Oh yea, I know which one you're referring to.
Wow!
Beautiful watch but I would be hesitant to own for reasons you have pointed out yourself, difficulty in sourcing replacement crystals.
There is a GS crystal made specifically for this watch, so crystal replacement is not a concern for this one. But do avoid swimming or showering with this watch on.
@@TimelessHistoryChannel GS?
@@GFSwinger1693 GS crystal is a company that produces acrylic crystals to fit many vintage watches.
Great channel new subscriber here..
I own a few Omega dress watches but I've never seen this model before.. Do you have one for sale? (18k gold) or anywhere one is for sale? Amazing I must have one 😍
Sorry for the slow response. Took a few months off. But I am back to produce new content. This piece already sold on my site. But you should expect the date version to hit the site in the near future.
But where are you found all this watch ? I dont belive ?
Time machine. :-P
so the rotor doesnt completely turn all the way around?
Bumper, so it hammers from left to right, but only wind in one direction. So it takes longer to charge up. Meaning you'll need more wrist movement in order to charge it faster.

@@zillsburyy1 Still a good movement as long as it has been properly serviced.
