Janna, this is such a meaningful comment! I struggled for years, nearly, a decade over complicating food because I thought that's what it took to be healthy. So it means a lot knowing I can be part of the solution to show people that sometimes simple is best because it leads to long-term sustainability!

oooh I love the shower before bed too - it makes my body relax so much more! Do you have any concerns about oxalates from spinach in smoothies? I have a big ol' container from Costco but I'm also side eying it after my friend got a kidney stone last year & her Dr. blaming green smoothies.
Hi Ally, yes, some people are much more sensitive to oxalates them others, so it's best for them to rotate their greens throughout the week. Also, building up the gut bacteria is always helpful for those who tend to be more sensitive. Also shower before bed it a must for me- I love it!

I'm still struggling with the smoothie 😂😂😂 but I loved all the tips, it is true, little gestures can make a huge difference in how we feel towards ourselves, our children and our marriage. Would you consider doing some postpartum meal inspiration and tips and tricks??? We're now pregnant with our 3rd baby boy and I can't help but worring about those first months when everything is chaotic and we really want to rest and eat well, but there is no help. Thanks ☺️

I currently make smoothies with spinach, berries, almond milk, and a scoop of KOS protein powder, and they’re more like drinking a milkshake, so I’m a bit concerned the straight veggie ones you make won’t be very palatable. How do you recommend adjusting to them?
Hi Jenalee, I love this questions, I definitely added more fruit back when I started. Bananas were my go-to because they add so much sweetness, additionally, unsweetened coconut yogurt is a great option to add more sweetness and it also adds a lovely texture.
