@@temshopping It’s a cut joke from S2/LN 4, where he developed failed versions of them and Aqua (and Darkness) thought they were balloons and started blowing into them, to Kazuma’s chagrin. There’s a lot cut from the LNs, including these short jokes.

Only notable changes is that Darkness in a maid outfit was a chapter longer with jokes/scenes and Claire’s attack on Darkness was bloodier/graphic and that it was meant to cut through her wrist, but Darkness is just that durable, even without armor (she caressed Iris with the bloody hand, so it made that scene more intense.) To compare, Claire is like the counterpart to Darkness and is a well-known knight with the nickname of ‘White Suit’ (she wears a white suit for men most of the time, so she’s a tomboy and based off of Snow from Combatants Will be Dispatched!), which she was supposed to be in during this scene. Iris herself is based on Alice Kisaragi, the Android from Combatants and both are in the same universe (multiverse?) which is why there are similarities. 3:48 - Nope, it’s a vanity object to look better overnight with nice complexion, like a face mask (also, this is popular with kids.)
6:49 - LN clarifies that Iris does this, because she doesn’t want to converse with people of low status, which adds to the slap later (to add, house Dustiness contributed tremendously to the kingdom and Iris knew Darkness in the past, which is why Iris let a lot slip by.) 13:34 - The mage reassured Iris in the LN, by saying that she sees him as the type that dotes on girls like her (indirectly accusing him of being a lolicon, as stated by Kazuma and matched Iris’s early perception of him in the LN.) Just for you to know, Rie Takahashi (Megumin voice actress) also is a singer. As Megumin she sounds less good that how she can sing, because well that is "only" Megumin singing.
How can she sing ? You've seen Oshi no ko ? She is the voice actress of a singer, so, pretty well.
She does a lot of songs / ending etc with the voice of her roles, so she is able to sing AND to sing with another voice that her natural one. Quite a feat.

Iris is a decent kid, being royalty she's just had a very particular upbringing and different expectations of her. So her perspectives and understandings are different but she doesn't really know better. As soon as she has the chance to get away with acting like a kid wants to, she's going to take it.
I always thought : can Kazuma use dual steal? I meant whenever he use steal,only one hand used...won't he be able to use both hand to steal for each different target? Plus his luck are pretty high than normal thief adventurer out there....Imagine if he can use dual steal ..😅

i was always thinking if theres cooldown for it . its pretty low level spell why not just spam the thing and completeli strip the target of equipment lol
@@kalashydra9016Steal costs a bit of mana, which Kazuma doesn’t have a ton of, so he can’t just use his skills and Magic freely in fights.
@@cranesilentlyplays8084 still its really low level skill (im asuming that since he learned it as one of his first skills while he was really fresh adventurer) . they gained loads of levels from kiling all kinds of big shots (demon king comanders etc) . you would think he would be able to use it at least twice with all the levels he got
I love that they animated Darkness being in a maid outfit but they don't animate the reason why she's in a maid outfit or the reason she isn't anymore. All that tells me is that someone on the team just REALLY wanted to see Darkness in a maid outfit and then everyone else was like "Fine... But only a couple seconds. We only have 20 minutes to work with"
And based on the physics of this episode I think I can guess who that person was
I love Aqua's dress here. I wish she and Darkness would trade. Darkness in that dress would be just perfect.

Ngl, i kinda miss Studio deen's style. Their animation gives the jokes more "flavor" is how i can put it.
It’s the same staff, including the character design director. They just changed their style over time (Kikuta changed it in S2 before, because he wanted it more like he intended for S1, for example.)
@@cranesilentlyplays8084 interesting, but the animation kinda downgraded in this season and even in the megumin spin off compared to the first and second season.
Not complaining since it's still konosuba though.
