  • This video shows my Henna Gloss recipe. It consists of my Henna powder, a deep conditioner of choice, and oil of choice. Henna is able to strengthen the hair immensely. When combined with water the powder releases the Lawsone dye which is the active ingredient that fortifies the hair. It binds to hair depositing the dye and strengthens the weakened areas of the hair. I love this stuff!!

so in India you would mix the henna in a cast iron skillet and let it sit overnight and it would turn black and thats what you would use if you want dye your hair black instead of that the orange color

Wow! That's good to know! However, I've been keeping that brassy, reddish brown look. After I used henna for the first time and it hit those gray hairs that's what I ended up with and I liked it lol. Now I also discovered once I did my final with clove water.......I was like yeah baby!!! Still doing it like that till this day. Thanks for your tip tho cause black is my natural color and Incase I ever wanna go back I now know what to do!!!!👍😃

@@AG-vp1ok The color is permanent. The new growth comes in gray. It leaves my gray reddish. I use indigo the next day after henna on the new growth around my facial area only because I like a little reddish throughout the rest of my hair for highlights.
