This was a bone chilling amazing scene. Just showed how amazing this show was. Another crying damn shame. Ironically the title of the series was about as off as could be. Should have been called the Cameron Chronicles as that is really what the story is about and it was impossible to be anything but frustrated AF with Sarah and her controlling smother ways. Talk about a Norman Bates' mom.
Not true at all. She's protecting not only her son but the future humanity itself. She's seen all the people she loved killed including her mother. She carries more than anybody can and still stays sane.
Im genuinely confused. Ive only seen t1 and t2. Is the teen guy John? Im guessing the older guy on the bench is Kyles older brother? So Johns uncle. The two people playing...younger one is kyle reese and the older is a younger version of the guy on the bench. Never seen this series. Looks cool.
Amazing, man. This series was amazing. Don't watch it. It creates dependency and they never finished it. And that was a crime. A fucking crime. On the other side, as a Terminator fan you can only fall in love with it. Choose carefully.
Well that’s suprsingly a super complicated and highly debated question lol. In terms of the main timeline of the first 4 movies yes he’s johns father but for the original timeline John Connor (the timeline where Reese and the orginal terminator is sent back from) that’s unknown. Then again the picture of Sarah in Mexico existing in that timeline likely means Kyle was always johns father but I feel like that was huge mistake on Cameron’s part the whole message of the first two terminator movies is there is no fate but what we make but if Kyles is always supposed to be Johns father then he has to go back in time and father him meaning the future war always has to happen making all of T2 pointless. TL;DR In the canon timeline yes but it makes no damn sense for the original timeline and messes up the story’s message.
You never saw Terminal movies? Teenager is John Connor, 5 year old is his father - Kyle, grown up guy and teen with bat is Derek, Kyle's older brother. Watch Terminator, Sarah Connor Chronicles - it's good.
But the first two Terminator movies are NOT the end-all and be-all of the Terminator franchise, and you should at least attempt to watch the rest of it to see how it's been brought full circle. I'm really tired of people crapping on further ENTERTAINMENT just because they're too engrossed in the story line to allow for an expansion of the franchise's boundaries. It's just so narrow-minded and selfish.
T1 & T2 are FABULOUS; this series (even with it's TV budget & censor limitations) is a pretty good 'sequel'..better than T3, Salvation or Genesys, in any case.
Okay, so I’ve never seen the Terminator movies except Terminator Salvation, but what I understand is that John is older than his own father, Kyle, but John is normally younger than his mom, Sarah. What happened is his father, Kyle Reese, as a grown up man went back in time in the first Terminator to save Sarah Connor and prevent the Terminator-800 from killing Sarah. When this happened though, Kyle fell in love with Sarah and he got her pregnant. When they destroy the Terminator later on, Kyle ends up dying. So Kyle went back in time and died in a time that was before his own birth, and he was also born after his son was. How Kyle is the father is because he went back in time to meet Sarah and save her from the robot, and ended up getting her pregnant with John. Kyle went back in time in the first place because John from the future informed Kyle that Skynet sent a robot back in time to kill Sarah so that John would never become born, therefore John gave Kyle the mission to save his mother, but this also is what made Kyle John’s biological father. A future man got a woman from the past pregnant. The son is younger than the mother, but older than the father. It really does tie your brain up in a knot just thinking about it, literally thinking the child is older than the father.
I still find it weird how a Gen Z bred with a Gen Xer. It shouldn't have been possible. As evolution-wise, the younger generation is different from the older one.
The plot hole was caused by the original movie, though. How many children would have been born immediately after a nuclear holocaust. I think the plot hole solves itself, however, in that he never SAW the war happen, meaning he was sequestered and safe until it was over. Nothing says he was BORN AFTER, anywhere.
The timeline was changed when Sarah, John, and the T-800 infiltrated Cyberdine Systems and blew up the chip. It delayed the creation of Skynet and Judgement day. The original JD was August 1997 and it was moved to April 2011. Kyle was still born, just before JD instead of after.
Kyle's headstone probably reads 2000-1984.
even tho that date doesnt make sense but the time line makes it make sense
He was actually born in 2004.
Depends on which timeline. Salvation was set in 2018 and had Kyle in his late teens - but then Genisys goes to 2017 where he's still a preteen.

Best Birthday present John ever got seeing his Dad.
Honestly this is one of the most touching, heartwarming and tearjerking scenes in the show
In the future, Derek had to wonder why John looks like Kyle. Now he knows.
This is the most brilliant scene in science fiction, ever.
Soon to be Non-Fiction if AI continues to grow at the pace that it's growing right now?
very under appreciated
A wonderful scene. So brilliantly well done...I miss Sarah Connor Chronicles so much.
One of my favorite moments of the Terminator movies and serie is the relation between John and Kyle! It's so tragic and sad ...
This is my favorite scene in the entire series.
I agree it’s beautiful
Such a heart heavy scene when you see it for the first time and you know the whole story.
I wish I could go back to these good old normal days! 😞😞😞😞

Well...Sarah had to keep John alive at all costs for the future of humanity.
@@nickmitsialis ... while trying 2 stop the world on fire. Mad stressful.

great now i got teary eyes.
In the terminator timeline, Kyle never had a brother named Derek.
This show was excellent. Everyone time travels 2 fight. TSCC looked up fam, got confused (r u my Jessie?) & fought.

@notchjohnson1 i guess it's very native to ask you why you're here commenting, since it was so awful.
@notchjohnson1 lol that was a typo but at least it was funny, are you familiar with the concept at all?
notchjohnson1 It was not that bad. Someone is over exaggerating lmao
Dont bother with any of the other movies if you havent already
This John Connor is a different from the original time line
1:30 first encounter between father and son
essa foi a cena mais linda do seriado
This WEIRD trailer actually says that Skynet sent a machine to protect John Connor?!
Found out about terminator in 2009 never new their was a tv show until 2015 when it was on youtube whish i cold find it
Anthony Carlton Netflix has it in their dvd collection.
the father is younger than his son 😄😄
So was John Connors dad always kyle I thought it was altered in t1 right?
Toaster Gamer Kyle Reese was always his father but Sarah ousted the father as unknown on the birth certificate
Wouldnt that mean kyle reese always went back in timr to protect sarah because he wasn't born in that time?
@@carljohnson7168 Yes, that's why John always trusted Kyle the most and told him stories about Sarah because he knew Kyle was his father.

This is a plothole right here. Kyle never saw the war happen he grew up after it happened
This garbage doesn’t deserve to be called Terminator

This is the Loser from Beverly Hills 90210.
He has aged well
This is bullshit, Kyle was "born and grew up in the ruins" he never saw the world pre judgement day according to the first Terminator flick
The show is a sequel to the judgement day. It’s explained that they delayed sky nets attack until something like 2011
yeah, because they shifted judgement day later, it then means events like this can now happen...
