I've watched so many golf instructors on UA-cam and it's done nothing but screw my swing up. I found your channel a week ago and have watched hours of your lessons. The way you teach makes so much sense, I now know what I've been doing wrong and am using your drills to fix it. You deserve millions of subscribers bro! Thank you so much!
Agreed 💯 I met a girl golf pro today and told her she must listen to Adam for sure I’m hopefully flying out to get lessons from him in May. I’m that convinced he’s got a lot right
As far as the lessons are concerned I have no more words to express my appreciation; they are all pure gems. But I must congratulate you and your team also for how the videos are edited: a few seconds about the bulk of the lesson, which has a great impact, and then the full explanation, again, a gem of clarity. Also the music is very well balanced: great job!
This is the only channel that has provided me with an understanding of how to keep my right side low through impact / how the swing is supposed to work and avoid my early extension. Setup, weight distribution, takeaway, how the legs / body / hip / arms / hands are connected and supposed to move all clearly explained (not necessarily all in this video but across the channel). Awesome. Thankyou.
Needed this one badly!! Went from a butter cut I've been loving to all the sudden hooking the ball.. this fixed me immediately.. Gawd I love this channel!!!
ever since i realized and learned how to do a body pivot my golf has gotten so much better, it's not perfect but i'm working on it. i was all arms and hands before. your videos are really helping, thnx.
Bruh....my dude!!!! This had been my issue . My club sticks up in the air just like him . You broke this down perfect thank you. Killing it thank you. Keep them coming.
This is good stuff. Always like his style of instruction. Seems like we’re talking the same language. I had been working on the “keep lead arm down foot line” but then he hit me with the “don’t lose wrist set” and I related immediately.
Found your explanation in how the left hip moves back in the downswing and instantly hit the ball so solidly that it was frightening. I’m 70 years old and have played for 50 years and had never heard this before. Went from a 6 to a 3 in less than a month. If I didn’t live 3000 miles away I would be a regular at your facility. Thank you
Pure gold. This guy's swing is my stock swing (fault)! His hip bump is better, but I also struggle(d) with taking the club too inside too soon. Thumbs up
This is the lesson I needed so bad!!! This guy had the same issue I do. I have always gone too inside with everything and struggle with my lead arm getting high enough. Can’t wait to try this!
I’ve been trying to fix a too long and deep backswing for a long time. This video just made so much sense and it just clicked. I worked on it today following your work here, and its made a huge difference. Thanks you.
Great video Adam!!! I believe this will help me as I am struggling with getting "deep" and lacking width with my elbows collapsing...🤦🏻♂ Thanks for all you do for the game!!! 👍🏻
Wish I could subscibe 2 times to this channel. Love your way of teaching. Coming back to the game from a 10+ year layoff. Trying to get things fixed in my swing from the start. I want a more reliable swing that might require less practice. I am already seeing some positive things on the driving range. Great stuff!
Great distinction. I believe also width is so important rathar than too mich deep inside. My question is do I havr to wrist set or can this happen naturally and even gradually? Thanks.
Hi Adam Just noticed something from this video. You asked him to push his hands back in takeaway. Is this correct to also push them away on the downswing? Seems to help keep my elbows together and puts the handle in the driving the nail position. Make since?
I know this is an older video but I am praying someone still gets these. I have got so many muddled golf video swing flaws going I don't know what my own swing is. I am confused slightly on what we are doing as it relates to the engine, what drives the swing? Is it pulling the arms down or turning the core and shoulders while keeping the hands in front of the chest?
Great job Adam! night and day difference on the before and after. I'm working on getting the club lined up with my right forearm in the downswing and it's very difficult
@@PorzakGolf I made a playlist on UA-cam just for your videos so I can go back and watch them again and again I must say you have the best content on UA-cam and I've been watching videos for golf instruction on UA-cam for many many years
For the last 7 or 8 rounds I’ve been struggling with an unwanted draw, borderline pull, that I’ve no idea where it came from, well! now I know. Never had issues with turning the ball right or left. I haven’t been able to properly fade it in a while. Thanks for that tip, I’m referring to the left should “staying in place” under the plane and the arms mirroring the toe-line. 👏🏼👍🏼
The driver will have a slightly softer set and the hands will get a little further away from the body before the club sets hence the driver stays a little lower to the ground longer in the takeaway
Big fan. Improved my golf game since watching. Can you explain the hip bump more to me. Looks like a pelvis bump towards target, left hip over left knee with weight on inside of right foot and weight on ball of left foot. Thanks.
I definitely practiced this cuz of you. But one question I have is how to shallow the club coming down. I tend to hit it left but I think it may be due to my club face and maybe a little steep coming down?
Hey Rickie! Left shots can be due to club face or sometimes flipping the club which will close the face sooner. Try this video and see if that is the problem! - - - ua-cam.com/video/NRUH2GoLEl8/v-deo.html
Yea we like our driver swing to match the shoulder plane. It naturally has a slightly flatter swing because the lie angle is the flattest. A lot of people will chase speed by lifting the hands higher, however our players hit it as far as anyone’s!
Like many instructors...too many catch phrases....Inside,out in front of your chest.. etc. In what position...addressing the ball...when he turns back...on the downswing? I have taken lessons and they were good golfers...does not translate to gois instructors.Too much explanation sometimes..
Watching most professional golfers they have this position - some coaches emphasise shallowing the club by pushing the club further backward leading to more unnecessary movement to get back on plane. This demonstrated the correct position in the back swing better than I’ve seen before - thanks! 👍🏌️⛳️

Big fan of the new graphics in the last few videos!

Just a slight release of tension and making sure that wrist set at the top is correct is gonna be key to striking the ball! Thanks Tone!

Adam great video.
Does this hold true for driver and words as well.
Thx so much
Yes this pertains to the driver as well! The sequel to this video will combine this technique to the driver. Stay tuned for that! 👀
This video gives me a lot of insight to my own swing!!! I tried to have so much width that it's too much inside out now! Great illustration !!!
Glad we can help you out Sothy! 🙏

Great drill with the alignment sticks! 👍

The mirror is the best!!!
Adam, is that arm lift and shoulder turn after that midway point.
Hi porzak, does a bigger body turn causes more across the line ?
When you make reference to hands setting under the belt, does this apply with driver?
Love the content as always

It’s in every single video of his. Just search “hip bump setup Porzak golf.”
Pretty close, many vidoes discuss it in detail
I swear every video you make is speaking directly to me. My problem for years now is getting too deep behind me
Hahaha
What video can you suggest that will help me to stop my arms from breaking down? My left arm starts back straight then bends too much. HELP!
Just take some half swings and video it
Pure gold
I really struggle with to much depth, going to try this feeling of having a below and above the belt swing

Best kept secret on UA-cam
Genius
Why is it when I cover the ball it tends the get pulled left?
Because the shaft is above your forearm on the downswing, which probably means your arms get long at the top of your swing.
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a video that addresses this?
Best on the net....by a mile
Thank you!
Monarki med men Kungen eller adrotningen hsr inte lika mycket att säga till om
This guy's issue is in the takeaway - not sure why he is not addressing it. He's not getting started properly leading to issues later.
