The best live album was Alive, mainly because it WASN'T live! Parts of it were, but a whole lotta cutting, splicing, and redubbing was needed to make it sound the best. Alive II didn't have that, and it showed! Same for every concert I've ever seen of them, full of flubs, messed up lyrics, Paul yodeling, and of course the same tired onstage banter we heard in 75. Visually they're great, but they sound better in the studio.
I got the first Off the Soundboard but, Jesus, they're milking post-reunion shows. Tokyo 2001 was enough. Give us anything from 1978-1990. Fans would die for shows we can currently only get as bootlegs (Auckland 1980, Houston 1985, Detroit 1990).
I'm starting to think this was an April Fools joke. They announced it on April 1. And I still can't find this on Amazon or any retail site outside of Kissonline weeks later.
So I looked at this message on my phone and it said "Kiss announces new Reunion Tour.." My heart is beating faster, I click the link, and... ..same crap as usual; Just some useless recording to press more money out of their fanbase. Screw that!👎
I say this a lot but hopefully we get one from 1977. 1996 is great though.
I agree classic KISS!!
I have been a KISS fan since 1974 any anything from 75-78 would be a gift!!
@Mountain View picture's FILMS™ you read my mind. But 1977 Alive II tour first.
Awesome!! Can't wait!! I'm hoping for Japan 1978 tour
Love Gun was released in 77. Destroyer and R&R Over were in 76.

Just another way to put more money in their pocket. How much is enough !! Maybe the tour is not doing so well financially???
Long as it better than the pee poor 2004 release, can't be worse!
