I'm crying.
A beautiful conclusion to an amazing project.
Thanks buddy... not finished yet, but happy with it so far... black wheels will look ten times better.
I can't tell you how confusing and stressfull for someone used to drive on right side of the road is to watch this UK driving :D At every junction in my mind I'm like "watch out!" :)
Ivokbg
Haha same to me :D
You don't drive/ride on the right side, you drive on the wrong side. lol
+Tim Mason I guess that is some UK-Japanese-Australian joke that the rest of the world doesn't get :D
Actually Sir, tiz we who ride on the correct side of the road, wasn't even our invention, but it was brought here by the Romans who built most of our roads and they devised that driving on the left side meant the ability to keep their right arm free for their sword in battle with chariots and things... true fact - look it up ! And that translates also to why early Indian Police bikes had the throttle on the left, so policemen could shoot robbers as they chased them... apparently !
Ivokbg, Ride safe.
Love riding in autumn. Beautiful colours. You can always put layers on to keep warm. Can't beat a good chill out ride.
she looks like a fast & fun bike to ride. Nice build and Mackies paint job looks superb
Tiz indeed both my friend, thanks for watching..
You gotta be more careful with all that open fire around the petrol pump!
no need for a heated suit anyway ,,,
Gas station CCTV app fooled - Del sprayed with foam . . .
MackieBass - kevlar underpants !
Glorious bike, glorious views....all outmasked by that glorious sound track. love it :-)
Couldn't have put it better buddy... gotta love the Jurassic coast..!
Intro is straight from ‘STONE’ 👍
Too right buddy, great to hear from someone else who recognises it... one of the best biker movies ever!
Well ridden Del, A Cold & Frosty Morning always Tells The Men from The Boys, The XJR looks like Bags of Fun with a Tonne of Tourqe & Power, Got Blatherd myself Yesterday Again along County Lanes that had defrosted & caked in Farmers Fields, but I have got to say, she was easy to clean thanks to Your recommendation of Scott oiler FS365, Fantastic Product, Have been using for a year now & the bike is always mint, have even recommend it to a couple of Pals & I can see it has transformed the condition of there bikes So thank You For spreading The word, keep up the good work & ride safe Guys
Thanks Tim, good to hear you're so happy with it - it only works it you re-apply it practically every day, but it's designed for people who wanna keep their bikes clean... there are other products of a more permanent nature, like ACF50, but it's a mare to get off, you need solvents, or a hot steam cleaner, and things like that can do damage to paint and finishes... but they are both different products that need to be used in the right way to be effective... me, I like to keep my bike clean and well turned out so the 365 works for me, as I just rinse the salt and crap off every few days... just get a bit more busy with it in the rainy periods cos it washes off quicker, but sounds like you already know that buddy....
Gotta love the old school clocks - can I call them old school? - and clean look of the cockpit. I’m not a fan of the new Smart Phone layouts on today’s bikes. If it weren’t for Penny’s bike, this one might be the coolest. Hmm, maybe a turbo project for Penny’s Scrambler?
The Blandford Flasher, remember kids new road check mirrors cancel your indicators. If you can find the switch in your flappy gloves LOL
Yeah, too long riding the Harley, all that kind of tech stuff is taken care of lol !
Oh punaise, ça bourre la rage! Le son est d'enfer, ça donne envie d'essorer la poignée!!! Ride on, dude!!!
Just stunning. Don’t forget to wash the salt off...
Serious rip out of that thing Del, love it. You should tape over your faulty Speedo and work off a satnav on the tank. That way you'll know what speed your doing on those private roads.
I used my phone to see how far out my speedo was after changing the sprockets, plenty of free GPS speedo apps.
I totally agree buddy, it's a special hybrid speedo that only reads in Fahrenheit ! And actually, I'll have you know, that on the roller coaster road I didn't break the Fahrenheit limit once - it's so twisty and bumpy you need big nads than mine to push the envelope over there, but I will keep trying though lol !
Hi del just got this video as I am down in sunny it and miss Cornwall for a week sadly came on the train the bike sounds great and looks great
Ah, crisp English autumn tarmac - the old grey squirrely test - perfect conditions . . .
'Dug in nicely, a tad more throttle & . . . whammo - 70yds of fishtailing perma-clench.'
Might I suggest 'the blue petrol', 7lb boost & a nicely spread out tack cloth to sit on? : )
Naah, you see thats where everyone goes wrong.. its always "More boost, more boost, make 500bhp" blah blah blah..lol Thats for the drag strip, this is a road bike.. The XJR engine is a de-tuned FJ1200 engine, and they were fitted with softer cams and bigger carbs for more low down grunt.. so you tune an XJR to enhance that, not to turn it into a sports bike... and if you do it right, you get 100ftLb or torque at lower revs than the factory 67 claimed figure...... Torque Monsters for the street, rev monster for the strip dude..lol
Sounds gorgeous mate, not as loud as I thought it would be. Beauties of the turbo eh? Thought you were heading for West Bay at first when i saw Dorchester signs, but hey, lovely roads and some I'd like to ride if I had the same bike. Glad you take it easy on "moist" shaded bits too, I've had too many squeaky pants moments over the years to do anything else now. And yes Penny, the moist comment was just for you! lol. Ride safe guys, and enjoy!
Hi Ian, yeah, winter riding teaches you a whole new skillset aye, but you can still have some twisty fun and hope the moist moments are only on the road surface aye..lol
That is one animal of a bike that looked like a lot of fun
A lot of fun indeed buddy - the noise is addictive !
Winter ? we're a month away from winter and we've had two snow falls of 15 cm . I'm so jealous ...lol...nice area and gorgeous ride .
Thanks for posting .
Well technically it is winter, it's cold and the only reason we call it autumn is because the leaves fall off the treas and everything stops growing until spring, technically the start of summer lol
Thanks buddy, the downside of living in a tourist area is the roads are jammed with caravans and horse boxes, from Apr to Oct, so we play in the winter, thank god it's not as snowy as you get - stay safe!
Ah mate, she looks and sounds amazing! Buuut, does she wheelie?! Hahahaha! That road kinda reminds me of riding a rickety, old wooden roller coaster, lol.
That road it exactly that, bumpy and pot holed like an old vintage roller coaster at the seaside... and it does wheelie, but for some reason, i lost all the footage....ahem..lol
Tnx dude for this fantastic clips, (10 to 10). Congratulations 🎊 🍻
Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
Just started to snow today. My last ride last Saturday to storage in WIndsor NS was beautiful. 100 km distance
Jealous already...! Love snow.!
Saw a lot of familiar roads there..... miss being in Dorset and riding out. Gotta save up for another UK trip. Hop you stopped off on Swanage for some Fish & Chips! Don't want the ol arteries getting too clean! LOL
Mike
Hey Mike.. Winter sunshine, country roads, couldn't resist aye..! Miss you both, D&Px
Hi Del, Great video, awesome noise!!!! You road past my Aunties(little green tin cottage going uphill from Morden Park corner)and where I used to live opposite the Cock and Bottle pub. We are so lucky living in Dorset!
Mike.. is that darling house your Aunties place?... thats a landmark buddy.. and i have always wondered about it, it must have once been an old farm house right?... and yeah. ive lived in a few places over the years, but consider myself Home now.. never leaving Dorset..!
Close Del, she rents the cottage from the Drax Estate, it is an old estate workers cottage.
Fantastic bike sounds awsome and rapid. Mackie done a good job on the bike as well
Thanks buddy, didn't he do an amazing job..
Moonfleet41 you both have and the fella that put the turbo on in first place. Can't believe how quick it goes
Great vid' Del. Great sound, great scenery. Pure enjoyment. It's why we ride.
True Dat John.
Sounds as good as it looks Del.
Thanks buddy.. happy with it so far..!
The way it overtakes, though... just a smidge of throttle and woosh! -another car eats its dust (salt).
Too right buddy, the way it was tuned and set up by GP Performance, instant torque from tick over, and pulls from low down, even in top gear...
I love your riding videos, Im a history geek so I get all exited when I see the old buildings and stone fences..etc.. Good times! Bike sounds and looks great.
The whole of Dorset and the west country is littered with old churches, 500yr old buildings and stone walls, you should come for a ride sometime...
perhaps some day. Ive been building a chopper for the last 7 months or so, getting close now. My dog tore a tendon in her knee so Im going to have to finish the bike and sell it to get her leg right. Life is funny that way, we never really get more than we can chew. What thats supposed to mean, in a poorly worded way.....is not this year bud!
You naughty naughty boy Del , hope you’ve got one of those “accidentally broken in half number plates “ , having said that , the paint job is identifiable from outer space so now might be a good time to get a photocopy of your licence and get it framed LOL . Take it easy on those greasy roads mate , remember all the time and money you’ve put into that thing .
Cheers buddy, I'll have you know I didn't go over the speed limit once! You might have thought that I did, but my speedo reads in Fahrenheit , so I'm safe ! And, hopefully, any passing bronze will just think I was the Ghost Rider and not mess with me lol lol
Moonfleet41 👍🏻
Brilliant mate, you know I've been waiting for this vid and was not disappointed! That bike is wasted on UK roads though, you need to pack it and you up and ship everything to the South West of Western Australia and get into some of the open roads that will allow that monster to breathe! Love the over run crackle of the big 1200cc :D
Hey Brad, you've no idea how much I'd wanna do that - my brother lives in Brisbane, and haven't seen him for many years... I would love to bring her to the home of the Toecutter! But with what I hear about Ozzie modification laws, are you sure I'd be able to import it... the seem not to like you changing a bulb there without 'written permission' according to most bike mags...??
I knew you'd like this video, and am gonna do a fair few more, the sound was rubbish on this, I think it's about time for a zoom mic and the camera mount was lose wish is why it was jigging about... so the next ones will be a lot better, once I can afford the mic lol !
lol, yeah our mod laws are ridiculous here but as with anything there are ways and means mate ;) You'll just need to keep the stock bits in the garage so when (if) the powers that be decide you are having too much fun they will require you to visit a licenced mechanic to inspect for roadworthyness. Take it in stock pay the money, get the tick of approval then take it home where all the good bits go back on and the fun begins again. No damage to the licence just a bit of wrenching and a bit of a hit in the back pocket is all :D It's worth it for our roads and weather though mate, hence the reason the whole world emigrates to our shores, I'll put in a good word for you though buddy and I'll get you in!
Ha ha, cheers mate, so when we get to the border, we can just say, "Brad sent us".... job done i recon..! lol
Dear del, think about your security. Don´t drive in Jeans - put your leather trousers on!Greating from Germany Hamburg. Rainer
Its ok Rainer, they are bullet proof jeans, so ill be fine... lol Seriously, thank you for your kind concern my friend, much appreciated.. Del,.
It looks evil and sounds awesome.. great job mate!
\m/ ride in peace
Paintwork looks resplendent in the sunshine ☀️😎👍🏻
That wil make the winter warm again 😎👍🎶🎵
Hoonagoon , love the sound. Looks solid too
True dat brother... the sound was goo,d but didn't really capture it, the mic is a cheapy plug in thing.. so gonna upgrade it and maybe do some more....which also gives me a chance to go do this again again again..lol
Looks like you had a bloody good ride Del and the beast sounds awesome. Brilliant countryside, I could ride them roads all day long.
Thanks buddy, am gonna try and sneak a few more of these in through the winter, we live in a tourist area, and from April to Oct you spend the whole time trailing caravans, horse boxes, pensioners and lost tourists, so the only time you can get out and play when the roads are halfway empty is in the winter, so every sunny day off chance I get I'm out to play... so a few more of these to look forward to hopefully !
Pretty mean toy derek still lovin the posts keep them coming
Hey Grant, hos life old friend, long time no see aye... Thanks for watching... have a good week.. Del.
Omg loved every min Del. sick damn bike, bro..nice riding!!!!! wow!!that was fun! love that paint on those tins, my man. Thank you so much for the vid.tell PPS, I said "hi".
Thanks buddy... more this weekend, have invested in a new Zoom mic, so hoping the audio will be ten times better, and this bike deserves that..
Dang it Del! Now I need a turbo bike!!!
Do it mate, we're here for a good time, not a long time..!
That made me cold just watching. I just put my scoot in the garage. Snowed last week.
Be safe D&P.
Yeah, it was a chilly day... but i ride all winter if i can, even in the snow... so this was just acclimatizing to the new season... more this weekend, got a new mic to capture the sound better... !
As usual an awesome video my friend had to use my headphones to get the best of the sound and what a sound! The bike is a credit to you Del. Looked definitely tricky around the damp lanes though. But at the end of the day I still prefer to hear you on the big twin my friend. love to PP. And you ride safe my friend. All the best. Alan.
Hi buddy, thank you so much for that - that videos has so much potential to be better, the sounds recording was awful, it kept breaking up at high speeds, meaning I had to cut a lot out... and there was so much richness of the engine note lost due to the mic, it was a just a single lavalier mic inside my lid plugged in to the GoPro, and there are so many better ways to do it... am thinking of investing in a Zoom mic this weekend, which will really make things better, so watch this space for a few more to come including on the Harley! Thanks for your kind support, it's great to have you aboard....
looks nice around there I live in North Wales and don't really appreciate my surroundings
We never do do we Mike...
Nice ride I love those sort of roads, she sounds sweet, love the crackle of the big 1200.👍🏻
Thanks buddy, reminds me of the old days on 2 strokes, rolling off throttle coming in to a junction is a joy in itself !
I would love to try a dual bike (street/dirt) ski kit on a bike. SKi in the front and a tread like a snowmobile on the back. Looks like it would be buckets of fun.
Geez! I'm use to rural low traffic roads! Now I'm in Arizona with a lot of traffic, but I know I wouldn't have the nerve to ride on those busy narrow streets, one a**hole was practically in the middle of one of those narrow 2 lane roads and almost clipped you. Then another guy on the left if you hadn't waved down would've cut you off! I've got a Harley 1200 Custom with the screaming eagle pipes, the loudest legal pipes in the world so a**holes can hear me when I gas it! That's why I got a Harley but being an old school rice grinder rider have to say the handling sucks, their non-stop maintenance sucks, not being able to gun it above 6000 rpm's before it bogs out sucks! If they made a rice grinder that was as loud I'd have gone that route! LOL!
Love it love it who would not the exhaust loud love it good one Del I think this one is a keeker Glenn
You might be right buddy, I've never managed it yet in 66 bikes, but with this one, just maybe ! However, I've said that 65 times so far............
Must be a fun motorcycle to ride! Sounds great! Beautiful country you have, great ride!
Lotsa fun buddy more to come..!
did it actually work ? didn't look like it set the world on fire :(
GREAT VIDEO.....GREAT RIDE.....I've got a 400cc inline 4 CBR....gotta try one of these XJR's....
Was down that way a few times when I lived in the uk,beautiful scenery.....
Amazing sound and stunning acceleration :O
Are there any issues with engine temperature using this kind of exhaust setup?
Because when I change my stock mufflers to something like Yoshimura cans engine goes really hot due to lean mixture.
Thank you!
Sounds like beef with extra meat added, but without being stupidly loud for the sake of it.
Couldn't put it better meself Glenn... Good to hear from you as always mate,, hope life it good.. del.
Dellboy, someday you gotta come to the states and ride our roads here in Colorado. I have 2 bikes for you guys to ride when you do!
I know i know, and plans are afoot, Deals gap, Smokey Mountains... lifes too short to never see that for real..!
Thanks for that Del looks and sounds fantastic. I just want to go for a long ride to to The Yorkshire Dales right now. " Freedom ". 👍
Beautiful stunning countryside up there buddy.. you lucky toad.. !! lol
She sure is bad ass!
Oi! Delboy,
I have a cunning ploy.
If you're going round the houses,
Get some proper trousers !!
Nice ride Peace n Love bruv 👍♥️
I agree, I wear Hood jeans (British made) they also fend off the cold wind & gravel flung up from the tyre.
What's yer problem mate lol Leaver jacket, jeans, boots... just like me Dad wore... !!
Moonfleet41
👍🐵🤘
Living good I see, I think the turbo in definitely over kill bit nice to have.
Twas very nice, and I'm sure I even recognised some spots along the way, looks and sounds awesome bro :-)
just looking from my laptop, hyperspeed , when you set the turbo free, can only imagine what its like holding on to her,. You know what we want to hear,,, del jawing or a big freaking turbo, may she treat you kind.
I agree buddy, the sounds was a bit rubbish, and am gonna do a few more rides so looking to invest in a zoom mic... like Jordanian said, do you wanna listen to blah, blah, blah, or the voice of an angry engine! Just gonna work on improving the sound recording to improve the ride videos...!
p. Riding with the three degrees eh Del? Don't blame you for using that beast, it's what it was made for. p.s. No unicorns were harmed in the posting of this comment.
looks like you had fun and a nice day for it
what a bike great video
Thanks Simon, good to hear from you buddy..
Great ride along - watching the former ride videos got me used to seeing left side riding, but it is still disconcerting once in while to see from the rider point of view. But the sound! That definitely didn't need a soundtrack. The exhaust note was such sweet music. With permission, I'd like to record it to use on my phone for a ringtone or notification sound. BTW - I noticed your key fob, glad you are getting use of them. Most likely pretty unique in Britain, don't think there would be too much swag from the Missouri Motorcycle Safety Program over there.
Hi Don, how nice of you to ask permission, that is such a rare thing these days.... of course you're welcome to do so... and stay tuned, because this week we;ve now invested in a ZoomH2 mic, as used by Royal Jordanian, which I am hoping will give way better sound, with zero wind noise... haven't recorded anything with it yet, but I will do! Hoping the weather is nice enough on Saturday to go out for a ride and test it... if it goes according to plan, the sound sound should be awesome, and you're more than welcome to use it! All the best, ride safe my friend, Del
Thought I heard thunder ? No just Delboy passing through !
Hey Del, great vid mate. Was that a nod to Stone I detected at the starting sequence of the vid? A classic biker movie if ever there was one! Take the trip......Cheers, Ty
It most certainly was Ty, kindred spirits aye brother.. I just left out the piano wire bit...lol one of the best old school bikes movies of all time...
Yeah, you don't want the piano wire....check behind your side cover before starting it in the shed too hey? Interesting side note, the road where the piano wire scene was filmed is close to where I live. It is a great local biker road through the national park South of Sydney. Great fun to ride with great scenery. Stay safe Brother!
Loved that mate, lol you can tell your ex forces by them clean boots, loved the throttle bursts, BTW what is that silver dial on the right side of your handle bar? A gear change indicator?, nice video, nice day, regards
Ayup Bazza,,, Old habits die hard aye mate.. cant live with dirty boots if im not tactical...lol and that thing on the bars is a boost gauge, but a crappy digital one so it doesn't look as cool as the oil filled dial type.. ..!
nice run out dell, that car at 11:44 looked really close ..eek
Ha ha.. that was an assassin im sure of it...8 lives left aye...lol
nice bike and mic sound Moonfleet41! Zoom H2N? where did you put it? any setting advice would be useful, thanks man. check my sound settings when you've got time.
Hi mate, this was a fair old time ago now, and yes indeed, Zoom H2N, had a real challenge with this, tried it in the tail under the seat, which would normally avoid all the windrush, but yet capture the exhaust next to it, but the turbo's banana pipe exited just behind the front wheel, I tried loads of locations, in the end, the only thing that worked really well was the inside right pocket of my jacket and still a tiny bit of windrush got through ! If you have a conventional exhaust that exits at the back, then try a bumbag, spun round behind your back, works a treat!
in hayabusa under the tail i have no wind problem at all, the problem are the m4 exhausts. i capture nice sound when the revs are low, even the gear clutch cripsy clear, but when i rev up there is full distortion (my set up XY - gain 4 - low cut on ) check a video the first seconds are with the zoom under the tail seat ua-cam.com/video/00XsSndemXA/v-deo.html
@@toubusaoyios.official Ok, with my turbo bike i had all the same settings as you there, accept i had to run the gain down at '2'... try yours a little lower and it should cut out the flare at top revs..! Good luck.. Del.
Moonfleet41 thank you very much for your time and your respond.
Del, you do realise in the name of being the BIKIEST of real, non fairweather bikers, you've probably butthurt the whole internet taking a bike that lovely, that clean, that turbo'd with THAT paint out into the savage moist depths of Salt?
Also this video is weird for me, I've seen a lot of turbo bike vids, all fighting to be the "bestest mostest", barely controllable crocodile snapping up on one wheel at first boost.
This is a turbo bike that is slower than my 12r.
That's not a knock, I saw your dyno vid, power under the graph. Tuned to be a different, real world bike. A different style, different purpose.
Truly gorgeous, analog overload of a bike, just odd after being desensatized by too many turbo r1 vids! :)
Have a good one!
Don't know the power of your 12r or the torque or weight, but I do know this bike has more than enough power and torque.
Hey buddy, that has to be the most descriptively accurate description of this bike I've ever heard.. it's exactly all the things you said and I totally agree, you're absolutely right - it was originally set up by Debben Performance with 6psi boost and 115 main jets, made 183bhp, wheelied off the throttle and with a big power rush from 8,000 straight in to the red line... and then a company called GP Performance spent about 40hrs on it, dropping it down to 4psi boost, richened it up with 130 main jets, and spent hours balancing and jetting the carbs to run dead on... it's now a totally different animal - the torque and power figures prove it - it's making 120bhp at 4000 revs, and 130 at 8000, so a totally flat torque curve peaking at 100ft lbs when the factory claimed 67, which wasn't probably even at the wheel - so to turn this bike in to a Mack Truck with a Cummins diesel , it would honestly just pull tree stumps out all day long...
I agree with you totally mate, all people wanna see is 500bhp on an engine that's about to explode, being wheelied up the road at 150mph, this bike is arguably the biggest grin factor I've ever ridden - it never bogs, or stutters, it pulls from 2k revs in top gear, and just feels like it wants to tear your arms out the whole way...! I absolutely love it!
Looks like you had a great ride buddy, I could hear you were out and about down here in Lancashire. 🤘🤘 regards Stu
Cheers buddy, sorry for disturbing your Monday lol !
I love those roads round corfe, it never drys tho this time of year.
Damn right mate - all round where we live too, nothing like diving in to your favourite bend and it's suddenly soaking wet the other side of the apex lol !
Seems like a nice handling bike, nice one Del.
It's perfect but it will have to do!
Still got this? would be great to see more of it, i have an xjr 1300 myself, great bikes!
No, the bike is sold now and in the hands of it's happy new owner!
Awesome bike , great video ride safe 👍👍👍
Another great vid Del.... bike looking & sounding brill....
Bloody hell mate you should put that forward for a hazard perception test, lol
Ha ha... i think id get laughed out the door mate..!
Roads round here are similar to worse... just getting back into a bike after an extended period - watching this was actually quite useful - noticed that I was starting to look around corners further ahead and over/between hedges whIle watching. Thanks for the vid, will be watching again!
You cant beat a ride in the Dorset Countryside, why does the sun shine when Im at bloody work? If you want to know when its going to rain .........just ask me what day Im off next!! ha,ha
Oh So True Neil, itrs so rare to get a day off with the sun in the sky and dry roads... so this winter, every time that happens, im off out, ill take the cameras and the mic, and go play... there are 1800 miles of fine English countryside in Dorset, and thats without crossing over into Devon, Wiltshire or hampshire... it would take you 200 videos and two years to cover all that, so its a plan this winter for sure..lol
Out today myself on zzr 1100 hairy on the damp bits del sure makes your heart skip a beat but I like it The bike is a credit to you.cheers
Thanks Albert, yeah, you're right aye... gotta take it easy in the winter, I don't think there is any way better to hone your skills than in the cold and the damp, and ZZR11?? Awesome....!
Sounds and looks fabulous mate!
Thanks buddy, the audio was a bit pants, just invested in a new ZoomHN2 mic, and gonna be doing a test at the weekend... so should be able to capture the glorious sound of the turbo, way better than in this video!
Ride like you stole it........with the indicator on 😉
Ha ha ha... hoping to fool the bronze into thinking im turning off...muah ha ha..!
Moonfleet41 N.a. just think you forgot to knock it off 🤣🤣🤣🤣
well that looked like a blast how did she handle del sure sounded good m8 atb iain
Hi Iain, handles just fine, those are some bumpy old roads and it was pretty slimey in places... but still it doesnt handle bad for a fat muscle bike.. certainly better than the Harley.. lol
Nice, love the twisty's!
Noise man
Was watching the tacho and you can just feel that lovely low down torque - is there a step change in boost at any point, or is it completely linear?
Exactly that Glen, smooth and flat power all the way from tickover to redline, there is a surge at about 4k and it hits peak torque, but its hardly noticeable.. really well set up bike..
I wish I had some of that scenery to ride through, sir. Tuned down as it is...How fun is it to ride, and how fast does it feel when you get on it? Shiny side up!
Hi buddy... Its tuned down for grunt, rather than top end rush.. something that every manufacturer does with all the naked road bikes they make from sports bike... (like the Z1000 made from the ZX-10R )... so this is the same... masses of smooth power, and pulls your arms out from 2k revs all the way up to red line.. .and its quite a frantic rush too.. cant let it all hang out on damp cold conditions, it just spin up..
That makes sense. Like I've said...I'm not too familiar with how turbo works, especially so on a bike. Keep it sane, sir. We need you around. Take care!
Curious, what face cover are you using? Do you notice any improvement in not fogging your visor? I've tried using a Foggy but it just pinched my nose painfully and still caused fog during cold weather rides.
Hey Brian.. in this video it was just a regular buff.. but in winter i use a "Respro Bandit".. and dont pinch the nose plate too tight across the bridge, and they're fine.. even in wet weather..
Ummm noise porn, sounded great a nice deep burble and bark👍
Cheers buddy , favourite bit is the overrun cackle coming in to bends, can't get enough of it !
Sounds nice that del, just one question, did you polish them boots with the same stuff you used on the paint work ? Lol
Cheeky...lol.
Watching it again buddy........and it's still niiiiiice :)
Ayup buddy, took a ride for the first time with the Zoom mic today, and the sound is sooooo much better... should have it online for tomorrow, including a bit of zig-zag hill action, just for fun !
Fantastic stuff, I didn't like to mention the mic in case it was a surprise for the viewers. I'll be watching buddy :)
The silver tube with digital display, is that a gear indicator? If so, where did you buy it?
No Walt, thats a Boost Gauge buddy... tells me how much boost the turbo is making under load..!
That sounds wonderful :) :)
at 4:02 there was a dodge ram. Is that an unusual sight across the pond? or are full size trucks common? Looks like an awesome day of riding in the countryside!
I nearly posted "Murican Truck truck truck" in the video as i rode past that... i love them, and no, we dont have anything that big over here.. and yeah, id love one..(Power stroke please)..!
(p) Point of order. It's not winter till 1st December. Bike sounds great though.
sounds awesome
