Nice job! Been there on putting bearings on wrong and having to undo it myself. Nice description of the whole process. We worked cows today, Happy Independence Day!

It's always more fun putting things back together two or three times. We've all done that; and anyone who hasn't, ain't worked on stuff. How's the truck, or did I miss some videos?

You are correct there the truck is still being disassembled I haven’t uploaded any videos of it I will once it’s all completed

Grease is better than nothing when reassembling, but personally I prefer to Never-Seize the crap out of stuff... even when that stuff gets old and dries out or cooks out or is slung out, it leaves a coating of metallic nickel in there that makes things SO much easier to get apart next time... when the grease is gone, there's NOTHING in there to prevent corrosion and the parts rusting back together again. Never-Seize prevents that because the nickel dust stays in there when the soap/oil carrier is LONG gone...
    Later! OL J R :)

(Subsequent to 6:26)... Well if you can't laugh at yourself who CAN you laugh at LOL:) Not funny at the time, but hey, it's happened to all of us. At least you didn't get four things put together in a big stack of parts and THEN figure out that you forgot to install something or put something in backwards or whatever... Tap the bearing back off, install the shaft, then reinstall the bearing. Hope you shot some carb cleaner or brushed the outside bearing out with diesel and a brush or something and repacked the bearing before you reassembled it after it landed in the dirt...
    Good job! Later! OL J R :)
