I was wanting to know if you could do a video on how to hook up your disc mower, hay Tedder, hay rake, both the 330 and 446 round balers and the square baler to your new John Deere tractor and explain what each piece of equipment does and how they work and operate and how to get them ready for hay season and next hay season show how to operate them? and if you could an overview and a walk around of your new John Deere tractor and of the disc mower, hay Tedder, hay rake, both the 330 and 446 round balers and the square baler? and how to hook up the wiring harnesses, power cords and the bale horns for both the 330 and 446 round balers?
NICE!!! Yeah that's a good way to do it... I grew up being taught to go roundy-round, which means you're not wasting time on turns, BUT it also means "snakier' windrows as you curve around edges of fields and obstructions and stuff... I usually straighten those out to the extent I can by just driving straight as soon as I'm clear to drive straight, even if that puts a short break in a windrow where the bulge in it ended up in the next windrow over... LOL:) Works for me, particularly pulling a pair of rolabar rakes with a bridge hitch... KUTGW!!! Later! OL J R :)
"Rough Operator"! I think we can all be accused of being rough on our equipment at times. With the weather we have had in Alaska and my wife driving though snow in Kansas, it's hard to believe you're still getting hay off in WV!
@@Theblindfarmer Yeah past few years I only needed one cut for us, so I cut the bluestem which only really grows in the fall... beautiful hay, but yeah I'm baling in November LOL:) Last week I had to take Keira to school early for a rehearsal and she and I were bundled up in jackets like Eskimos because it was 40 degrees and drizzling and the north wind howling... We had freeze warnings and ice storm advisories 150 miles or so west of us and 200 miles east they had hurricane warnings... 2020-- the year that just keeps on giving! Maybe we'll get the giant asteroid impact or Yellowstone will blow up or California will fall into the ocean before New Years... Later! OL J R :)
Never used one of these on our operation. We use belted. Wheel rotary and a wheeled v rake. Thinking of getting a 3pt version of a rollabar for my home place but it sure looks like it balls up the windrow pretty bad. What are your thought in drying quality?
If the hay has been Tedder it just fine if not and hay is heavy you take one direction so it fold the green hay up on top it not as bad as it looks it does twist it up if you rake it more than twice
And I love and like your UA-cam videos and all of your UA-cam videos and I have watched all and every single one of your UA-cam videos
nice to see someone out raking it had been a bit
Glad it’s over lol

I do pretty much the same thing. It works well!
I've been experimenting with different raking techniques using the double rake setup I built. Your poor rake needs a vacation 🤣
It needs retirement
