I have a 350 and you can get bushings for the knuckles and I replaced them in a few hours. The crack on the third arm bracket is from the mid arm being stiff, i like your chain. But you can unbolt that center brace and give it a good weld.
Thanks for pointing-out the shortcomings of this particular rake. I saw one on Craigslist (same model 350) for $300. I need a cheap rake, but maybe I'll save-up a couple hundred more $$$ and get a New Holland or New Idea.
I dont know if i missed a video, but what happened to this rake? Cheap one came up for sale near me. Ill run if its wore out, but it looks like a nice setup if it works.
Try this website www.greenpartstore.com/ I have ordered quite a few parts from them with excellent service. Good to deal with on the phone too. Their site has a link to the John Deere parts lookup, just copy the part number and go back to their site paste it in the search and hit enter. If they dont show the price email them and they usually respond later in the day or early next day. Enjoyed your videos too.
This rake was made by New Holland for John Deere, might check New Holland for those bar parts. As much as I hate to say it, Deere doesn't do everything perfect, but they still take better care of us than the Case IH dealer.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I haven’t done anything with it yet but it’s something to look into
Where did you find the bushings?

Bar rakes are rope makers. Can't ever get them to flip properly. Get a rotary rake only way to go.

What’s the easiest way to change the belt? Your 350 looks different from my 350

Any place I can get a couple of those knuckles? Thanks!
I worked for a farmer that had a JD 350 rake we both hated that rake. I have a IH 35 hydro drive and love it.

TheCustomFarmer thanks for watching, yes I was on that site but the 350 rake wasn't listed. Don't know if it's too old or parts are discontinued
there is a pdf for the 350 rake on the computer version of the site. try this link jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/pdfs/PC0522.pdf
TheCustomFarmer there it is! Thanks.
