***** About Living Traditions Homestead *****
Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.
We put out 2 new videos every week! Tuesday and Saturday. We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we give up the rat race and live simpler, more fulfilling life in the country.

So nice to see all your raising and how you care for them! So responsible. Yes penicillin if an animal is that sick! You probably saved his life. Really enjoyed this. God bless.
Amen. Why would you want him to suffer. Treat an illness it’s the right thing to do. People who don’t farm have no clue. We always treated our sick animals.
if you dont treat them you dont keep them long! I give all my animals what they need! Be Safe!!
Absolutely correct. I would never be so selfish to let them suffer in lieu a temporary antibiotic. Only a fool would throw away a valuable animal.
Not treating sick animals is torture. It's good you help them.
Love your attitude & commitment to giving your animals the best possible lifestyle while they are living. That's the way we tried to treat our animals when we were farming as well.
👍👍👍👍 when we get sick, we take medicine, don’t feel bad about it. Feel good that you are a responsible livestock owner!!!!
Yes! Keep them alive good job! All summer great life of food all you can eat👏
Can anything be cuter than baby chicks and rabbits?! Thanks so much for sharing. 🐣🐇
We appreciate your Tutorials. Your Teachings are life changers even for Seniors like me. I am Not sitting down. I am active and gardening and getting lots of ideas from your information ℹ️ channel. THANK YOU 🙏🏻 JESUS for people like you.
Off you go little turkeys into the world!! So sweet! Thks for sharing!
absolutely, give the pigs the treatment that they need... good job
they found their food and water on their own. they are so smart😀💕💕💕
Totally agree. You have a responsibility to the animals in your care, you do what you can and what you must!
I love the turkeys and ducks best. And thank You soooo much for the care and kindness you give your animals during their life with you. It is hard to do but it is the right thing to do. They never have to live the horror of mass produced meat animals. Loving just looking at them. Lightens my heart these days.
You both are so amazing! Thanks for being so good to your animal family.
I do believe you did the right thing with Pickles. He looks very happy
I am so excited for your Family. It is a huge blessing to have someone many Turkey eggs. They grow quickly. Congratulations.
All your animals are beautiful, but your pigs are soooooo cute!!!

I loved seeing the baby turkeys. I've never seen one. Thank you for sharing your video. I loved hearing about the different animals you are raising and the gentle care and love you give them. God Bless
This show brought back memories of the smell the newly hatched birds created. Pleasant, but can get a bit "nosey" before they are ready to go outside. :)
All the babies are so cute! I’m glad pickles is feeling better as well.
Adorable! Turkeys are the best birds! Like feathered dogs ❤️
Oh they are so cute.. congratulations mum and dad... more responsibility.. Your excitement is contagious... can't wait to see the "buttercup" the new calf Ha Ha..
Wow how great for your homestead that you had success with the Turkeys hatching. Awesome.
I’m glad you all have the baby pig some medicines. Don’t worry about everybody’s opinion; be good parent owners.
Love y’all
Another great video. Thanks so much for sharing your journey, so far, to a self-sustaining homestead. Blessings!
Praying all goes well with the surgery tomorrow. Love your videos and blessings to the whole family
Sorry I’m just wondering what surgery? I didn’t see anything about anyone having a surgery? Perhaps your close to the family and know something? Or maybe you are referring to a surgery that he had previously? I think it was a hernia surgery? I think that was last year?
Turkey peeps are best peeps.
Love your animal raising ethics. You two are awesome!
Awww those babies are beautiful. Sooo beautiful!!!
Pickles looks like one happy pig
Love all of the animals! AND Kevin's shirt!! I, too, 💗 🥓!!
So pleased you didn't let him suffer, you look after your animals so well, Your good people. ( Not like Some people on youtube ignore and try to hide them in back ground, it breaks my heart to see. I don't care if they are going to eat them or sell there young, but hell give them a good life. Take care stay safe.
Great video Guys....God Bless You Both
LOVE HOW YOU HAVE YOUR CAST IRON POTS HANGING!
The turkey & rabbit babies are so cute! Glad Pickles is better!
I enjoy hearing you both talking about your animals and food.
LOVE the BUNNIES !!
Quick lesson in rabbit colour genetics:
Blue is caused by the dilute gene acting on a black colour base.
Lilac is caused by the dilute gene acting on a chocolate colour base.
That "tan" is a lilac fawn and that other baby is a sooty fawn aka tort.
I thought she was saying "lilock". We also say "lilac" or "lavender". Love some sweet bunnies!
thanks for turkey episode & glad hear pigs doing better.
Beautiful turkey chicks
We’ve been breeding and growing our own turkeys for about 5 years now. Incubator is definitely the way to go.
Turkeys were cute, I don't care for rabbits but they were cute too. Love to see progression of turkeys.
Self sufficient, good for you all.
You did the very best for your pig.
So Awesome. Totally Beautiful.
The baby bunnies are so cute!
I love all your experience in teaching us!
Sarah & Kevin, really enjoyed today's video. I agree completely with Kevin's comment regarding responsibility with livestock. I also agree with providing them a sustainable and healthy living environment no matter the type of provisional intention in the end. Blessings to you both and your family. God Bless Rob Schroeder (Rockford MI)
Cute babies everywhere.
We raise rexes, and we bred over the years this white doe to our blue buck and each time we would get litters that every kit was black. Genetics are fun, my children always fall in love with the odd colored bunnies even if they are unable to show them!
Thank you for a great video. I love the baby rabbits 🐰 ♥️. So glad Pickles is feeling better.
I love how you love your farm and how you cherish all your animals.
I love the babies I wish I could do this kind of stuff glad you did what was best for your pig they need medicine to I feel you did right thing and if it is food for you you have to do what best for your food supply glad he well now
Love the animals. Love seeing the all the babies.
Turkey eggs are delicious eating.
Antibiotics used to treat something is a lot different than when they give them proactive and are kept in horrific conditions. I agree with what you have done completely. We are the caregiver of the animals. Yours a living the life that they are meant to live. This is a huge difference than the factory farms.
Thank you very much
Best way of life. God bless
Omg. The cuteness
Those babies are adorable!
The babies are so adorable! I can't help but watch this video several times. So cute! Your videos are so good. I learn something new with every video! I wish I was young enough to try to do some of the things that you have done!
Glad pickles is feeling better.
Congratulations on your new property. You are blessed.
I just love what you guys are doing. What a great job you are doing.
Hello. How cute are those baby turkeys! I appreciate how sweet you both talk about your animals. I understand that they will provide meat for you household, but it's sweet any way. Love watching your channel. We are not homesteaders, we just enjoy watching how you live and love your family. God Bless!
Thank you again🙏🏻❤️
Wow turkey chicks are soo cute! And wow your bunny throws lots of color!
Good care for your animals.👍
So sweet-love your homestead! Blessings
Cow update we miss hope.....
Absolutely YES on the antibiotics as medicine for a sick animal. It's the antibiotics for growth in the stock pens that's the problem - not at all what you guys do.
Yes, on giving the shots...if I am correct, the drug is out of system in days...so by the time of butcher, I wouldn't think it would be an organic meat issue...we only raise for us...so not worried...We all try to be drug/chemical free, but sometimes...you have to do it...BTW, I am sure you know, but when pumpkins come out...the seeds are a natural dewormer for pigs, also rabbits and good for chickens too...we have about 15 pumpkin seeds planted and coming up...our goats, horses, chickens, rabbits will all get them...next year, we plan to do pigs again...
Exactly, the best farms say no UNNECESSARY antibiotics.
Very calm for young turkeys. :)
Such cute rabbit babies!!!
so cute. The youngest turkeys looked like toddlers walking around.
This is great watching for children to visit the farm. I would think it could be great for schools to watch and use as part of the school cirreclum.
Oh they are so cute
I really liked this video a walk thru with all the animals to include the helpful information you go thru. Very nice.
I miss having rabbits. Used to raise English angora rabbits for their fiber to spin into yarn. Baby bunnies are so sweet.
Thanks for all the nuggets 😀
I admire you so much for all the varieties of farming that you do to be self sustaining. It is hard work and you both seem so energetic. I don't know how you get it all done.....and then have time to video it all too. I wish I could do it. I am much older and don't have the energy, but sure admire you for your farming and also your respect for the animals, the plants and the Earth. Thank you for being such a great role model.
Glad your piggy got better.
Your boxes are genius!
Gobble gobble gobble! 🦃❤😷

Thank God for meds! Use what we have been blessed with. Love y’all and keep em coming
I love what you are doing!
i ove you kids
All looking good!
I appreciate the way you all take care of your animals. Yes, I agree about administering the antibiotics to the little pig. We have to take care of the animals we are allowed to care for as well as harvest for food. Loving y’all from N.C. I wish and dream of homesteading. I’m a teacher and facing challenging decisions about the classroom. My Principal is very concerned for our safety.
Take care
