Oh boy! I love learning experience spoken from the old timers'. No disrespect intended there Mr Bearded Carpenter! I've really been enjoying your content sir!
Howdy Brent - absolutely no offense taken brother. I sure appreciate you watching the videos. I was really fortunate to learn from my Dad who was definitely a master. Take care and God’s blessings to you
And that's how that is done.
Howdy Neighbor- thank you so much. Hope y’all are doing well and staying cool. God bless
@@TheBeardedCarpenter We're plugging along. Stay cool out there.
Howdy brother, looking good! I really like starting them screws with a hammer. I’m going to remember that and be sure and tell everybody who I learned it from. God bless y’all.
Howdy Brother- I appreciate you watching the video. Yeah, it’s easier for me to start the screws like a nail. Hope you and the girls have a blessed week. God bless y’all
@@TheBeardedCarpenter thanks brother! Hope that y’all do as well
Wow, close to 36 thousand subscribers. I’m so happy that your channel has been so successful.
Howdy Gregg- yeah, it’s growing and we’re very thankful. God bless
Always a good day to see a video from my favourite CABIN maker. Stay safe Paul, and I pray the ladies are well
Howdy Paul- you are so kind. I sure appreciate you watching the videos and commenting. Hope you have a great week. God bless
I like how you put just as much thought into a shed as you would a cabin👍
Take care Paul✌
Howdy Marc- I sure appreciate the kind words. I did put some thought into how I wanted it to be. Still have a bit of more work to do when I can get a chance. Take care and God bless
That's really nice it will last years ..
Howdy Armida- thank you so much. I appreciate you watching our videos. Hope all is well. God bless
Anyone who takes the time to show and try to help others is a special person. the details are awesome. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to show others who may not know how. Always a special thank you to the Mrs. Lady Bearded Carpenter for making these videos available to the viewers that want to learn from a 50 plus years of experience carpenter. I haven't seen anyone trying to show the inexperienced people how to properly build structures like you. God bless.
Howdy brother- thank you so much for your kind words. I sure appreciate it. I really appreciate the Lady BC also. Without her expertise we wouldn’t be able to share anything. She’s very special! Take care and God’s blessings to you and your family
That's a mighty nice shed Brother you've put a lot of work into as usual ! May God Bless you and your's
Howdy Brother Jeff- I sure appreciate you and your kind words. Hope y’all are doing well. Take care and God bless
That turned out really nice brother Paul.
Howdy Luc- thank you so much for the kind words. I’m not quite finished yet. Had to pull off and get some other things done. God’s blessings to y’all
I am of the age where I was honored and privileged to learn carpentry and the trades from noble craftsman like yourself sir. Although those folks have all passed now. I ended my career about 4 years ago as a Senior Construction Inspector. However I am still making sawdust and turning dirt and taking care of my Forrest property. Thank you sir for your excellent service to the trades in keeping quality craftsmanship in front of the go fast, slap it together and cover it up crowd that are building stuff today. Beautiful work sir.
Howdy Todd- I was brought up under an old school master craftsman and was very fortunate to have spent many years with my Dad who was considered the best in our part of the state. I think you would have enjoyed being around him. There’s not many people from my era who is making much effort to pass down the skills to do quality work. It’s get it together, get your money and go, nowadays. Glad you are still doing some work with wood and being able to get in the woods. Thank you so much for watching the video and for the really nice comment. God bless you
Dear sir, your disposition is outstanding. I'm 61, retired, carpenter, aerospace machinist, general contractor and senior construction inspector. My father sounds just like yours. Dual degree engineer, MBA, veteran etc. We are blessed with the opportunities we have had. My company motto that was printed on my stationary and clothing was. HONEST EVALUATIONS, QUALITY SOLUTIONS. If the conditions didn't exist for an equitable partnership in the contract, I didn't take the work. Safe safe and healthy sir. Outstanding stuff your doing.
Thank you for another masterclass Sir. I was reminded of my geometry class from school.
Howdy AS- thank you so much for watching the video and commenting. I have worked with geometry for so long I don’t think about it as being such. I constantly think in terms of right triangles. Hope you are doing well and everything is going well for you. God’s blessings to you
@@TheBeardedCarpenter thank you for the generous good wishes Sir. I wish the same for you and your family.
That's a beautiful wood shed. Well done!
Howdy y’all- thank you so much for the kind words. And the work you do is simply amazing! Much craftsmanship! Take care and God bless y’all
Wow! It looks great Paul!!! Save me a spot to hang a hammock under there! 👍🏻

Howdy Gregg- thank you so much for the kind words. It’s getting there. God bless you
As always I'm bent backwards in awe by your work. So meticulous in every detail, even if it's "just a sawmill shed".
That's the trademark of a true and dedicated craftsman. 👌🏼😊
All the best from your student in the Swedish woods 🍀
Howdy Michael- so good to hear from you. I sure appreciate your kind words. I wish there was some way I could visit you someday. I’ve never been a world traveler. Have a great week my friend. God bless you

I love your attention to detail. Most people would have just left that overhang. What a great shed. God Bless! 🙂
Howdy y’all- I appreciate you watching the video. I was afraid to leave it like that. I was pleased how the homemade ridge cap worked. It was really easy to put on. Take care and God bless you

Howdy John- thank you for watching the video. Are y’all in the area that is getting smoke from the Canadian forest fires? I have several friends up there and I’ve been concerned about them. We’re just dealing with the southern heat down here. Take care and God’s blessings to you
@@TheBeardedCarpenter yes the smoke is from Canadian forest fires. the few friends i have up there are ok right now but they are dealing with smoke and heat to. i have Ashma so i have to work inside i live in rocky mount, Va. glad you are not having to deal with the smoke. take care, be safe and well.

Howdy y’all- thank you so much for watching our videos and the nice comment. God bless you
the short side of the roof made the shed look great! That about finished it up? Blessings Bro. Paul ....Lady Bearded Carpenter dont like you borrowing her tools? :)
I didn't see any thing yellow. Did you? All I saw was a hand saw.😊
@@jamesnorman415 :)
Howdy Brother Duke- I had envisioned how it would look with the short steep roof and was happy how it turned out. Well, if I can sneak out with something I’m ok but since she does the editing got found out lol. Stay cool down there this week. God’s blessings to y’all
Howdy James- I sure appreciate you keeping that to yourself lol. I don’t enjoy sleeping on the porch cause the skeeters are bad this time of year. God bless
Very good coming along nice.
Thank you.
Howdy/ thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate you watching the video. God bless
Very nice. Thank you from Chile. Jim
Howdy y’all- thank you so much! Hope everything is going well with y’all. Have you moved to your new homestead yet ? Take care and God’s blessings to y’all
@@TheBeardedCarpenter No we have stepped back for the time being.
We are putting it all in God's hands until we sell our current homestead.
Sometimes a deal is not all that it appears and we felt a little off. So we stopped and stepped back.
It is so cool that you remembered who I am. Thank you

Howdy y’all- thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. God bless
Coming along nicely. Are you thinking about building a lumber shed next?
Perhaps a solar kiln as well?
Howdy James- thank you so much. Yes, we do need a lumber shed for sure. As of now we cover everything up with d sheet iron. God bless
Howdy Robert- now you got me thinking………. I really need to do some research on the solar kilns. The sawmill that I get wall logs from ordered two vacuum kilns. That’s out of my budget. God bless
@@TheBeardedCarpenter I like your level of technology. The vacuum and radio-frequency kilns are useful only at industrial scale. Several channels have done solar kilns. Best luck!
@@robertbrewer2190 Thank you brother. Blessings

Out of curiosity why would you not have made a pattern and cut all the fartes on the ground?
Howdy- I did make and use a pattern as I always do. I cut all the rafter seat cuts on the lower end on the saw horses and also the peak cuts. The reason I cut the top seats is because the seat cut control was on the inside of the load carrying beam. I wanted to scribe the upper seats for a nice fit. God bless
Got it! PS (Gotta love my typing skills should have read RAFTERS)@@TheBeardedCarpenter
Not THAT'S a sawmill shed.
Howdy Randy- thank you so much for the kind words. God bless you
