Thank you very much for your videos! One question: when I import some loops from my PC to the Loopstation, it detects the BPM automatically. It's cool but it sometimes apply random BPM (a basic 85 BPM loop becoming 113,3 BPM because the machine has decided so 😁). It doesn't change the tempo of the loop but it becomes a problem when I plug a midi link to a synth that is supposed to play an arpeggio at the same time... Is it because some loops are more than 4 bars long and the machine can't handle it? Weird... Is it possible to "manually tell the machine" the right BPM of some loops? Cheers from Luttich!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the videos! That's actually very interesting, I never tried importing loops from the PC. There are a couple of different settings that come to mind from the RC505 MK2 Parameter Guide, but to see if it works I would have to test it out myself. I'll get back to if/when I have the time for that. In the meantime you can different Loop Sync settings (Loop -> Track1 -> page 3) or different clock settings (Menu -> MIDI -> page 2 -> SYNC), that's what I would try too.
after clicking through the many tutorials here on UA-cam for the rc505, your videos are are crazy. Thank you so much for explaining everything perfect. You helped me a lot Keep going
If you mean the Preference settings, this determines whether your settings are applied to all memories (System) or just one (Memory). I personally left this on System, but lets say for one memory you want the track buttons to do "track edit" and for another "LED" you could change the Preference of "Mode Play" to "Memory" and then save the panel setting with enter+exit for each memory. Hope that helps.
Hi, really useful video however im having trouble with the assigns. I've set up the TRK1 FX control function to be LED but I still want to have the main function of this to enable TrackFX on TRK1. I've set up an assign with Source: TRK1 FX (PLY) and Target: TRK1 FX, but when I use the FX button on Track 1 the LED changes but no FX are applied. I know the assign works as if I change the assign Target to TRK FX, pressing the button applies FX to all Tracks (but I only want it to apply to TRK1). Not sure if that makes sense but am I doing something wrong?
That's curious, especially that 1 assign works, but the other doesn't... Do you have the assign set to toggle or moment? If it's moment, then it will only do the function as long as you hold the button. Also, how are you checking that the track FX are enabled, by "ear" or by going into the loop menu? If it's the former, try going into the loop menu and double check if something changes when you press the assign. I just tested it a moment ago, it should work 🤔
@@ZharynMusic Thanks, checked in the loop menu and it wasn't toggling the FX icon when pressed. Ended up completely resetting the control functions and assigns and redoing them and it worked this time 🤷♂
ty man your videos are really helpful
Thanks alot for your tutorials, they help a lot❤❤

Thank you so much :)
Brilliant! Now I get it. Another amazing tutorial here 👍
So tnx for this! Would you plz also give us some explanation that what is "system/memory" status that we see in some menus?

@@ZharynMusic so tnx! Yes, exactly means that! So helpful!
Great as usual
Appreciate it!

Weird 🤔
The MK2 is not completely bug-free, so who knows...
nice tutorial is the melody at 4:05 from an already existing song cuz it sounds familiar
Thanks. Yep, I'm currently working on a cover of "We won't be alone" by Feint and Laura Brehm :)
@@ZharynMusic siick good luck with that
Thanks! If I get it done, I'll upload it 👍
